It is the first time that I encounter hotel staff/owner geninuely delighted to have their guest. They made us feel so welcome and loved. I even feel sad to leave!! It is wonderful to wake up over looking the piazza, with people drinking tea downstairs. So many delightful bars within 3 minutes' walking distance. An authentic Bilbao experience. I would be happier if it could be a little cheaper. It is more costy than what we've paid in Madrid and Santander. (About the same standard). But of course, the location of this hotel is better !

Excellent location (in the very centre of the city) with a cosy view; kind and available staff; tidy, renovated and essential room. I'd definitely recommend it! Bit too small room, but no complain, considering the price. I'd prefer 2 pillows for 2 people instead of 1 big one :)

The room had a balcony overlooking the cathedral plaza - this was the highlight. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable, and there was no bathtub in the bathroom.

This hotel is situated in a very good location, in the heart of the old center of Bilbao. My room had a beautiful view across this city center, and was very quiet! Everything was clean and comfortable. Hotel Roquefer is at a 10-minute walking distance from where the airport bus stops. Also the big department stores and Abando station are within walking distance. Friendly staff also. Luxury in the old heart of Bilbao.

Good location and that's all. The pictures of the room don't refer to actual standard offered by the 'Pension'. If we knew how the room really looked like beforehand, we wouldn't have chosen it. The room was unpleasant, cold and dirty (pieces of hair on the bathroom walls (don't want to know how they got there...), dirty and 'worn-out' blankets on the beds) and all that for 55 euros per person per night. An exagerrated amount of money to pay for such a low quality.

El trato familiar, la ubicación, las comodidades y el precio. La habitación contaba con un balcón acristalado justo en frente de la Iglesia de Santiago y con vistas a toda la placita. Los olores a la comida que preparan los dueños en la cocina y que es permanente.

De lift komt niet tot de etage. Je moet altijd met je koffer een trap op of af. De lokatie ligt midden in een voetgangers gebied, dus niet met de auto bereikbaar. Internet werkte niet of zeer gebrekkig.

Muy bien situado, en pleno casco antiguo de Bilbao, es ideal para rodar por el centro y volver a dormir justo al lado. La almohada casi no existía, es muy plana y no se duerme bien. La tele demasiado baja, no se puede ver tumbado.

El trato de los dueños es inmejorable, son amables y encantadores. Está ubicado en pleno centro y tuvimos la suerte de que nuestra habitación tenía un balcón que daba a una plaza con mucho encanto. La habitación y el baño están limpios y en perfecto estado. Si volviera a Bilbao, volvería a alojarme allí sin duda.

La posizione, assolutamente fantastica per chi ama le cose genuine ed un po' desuete. Un soggiorno che ha un po' il sapore di altri tempi (ma con la possibilità di avere internet in camera gratis!!). La camera aveva un balcone con affaccio sulla cattedrale, una vista che non stancava mai!!! Certamente se uno viaggia per lavoro (è stato il mio caso a Bilbao) ci potrebbero essere un milione di sistemazioni più razionali, tecnologiche e comodo, ma continuerei a preferire la Pension Roquefer!!!

Muy buena ubicacion en el casco viejo. Algunas habitaciones son grandes y otras un poco pequenas. Deberian avisar que hay que estacionar en el parking Arenal y que (casi) no se puede llegar a la pension en auto (por la manana parece que si, pero por la tarde y noche es complicado pasdar en auto en estas calles llenas de peatonales).

Me ha gustado mucho la ubicacion esta en pleno centro historico de la ciudad. La relacion calidad precio es excelente, y el personal del hotel es muy amable te hace sentir como en casa. La acustica de la habitación, es ruidosa por estar en el centro.
