Great location knowledgable staff
lack of toiletries
Good Position and good accomodation, a special thank to the porter Edgar is been very kind
a Bit noisy during the night
Great Location Great Price Beds were good Clean!
the position (near the ramblas and not far from the beach), the big room for even eight people. I suggest this structure to group of friends who want to enjoy BCN
There is nothing to say.
I have problem enter the pushchair of my baby to the third floor. It is inconvenient for family with small children. For single or families with no children, it 's ok.
Centrally located easy access to all areas of interest. No problems accessing shared shower and toilet facilities, kept very clean. Fresh towels daily. Inside pension very quiet. Helpful staff. Excellent selection of cafe/bakeries, restaurants and bars on doorstep.
Although large fan provided and working, room was a bit too hot for my comfort, others may not have this problem. Busy streets below at night but soon got used to it or take ear plugs. plus side lots of people around and felt safe. For the money paid not disappointed, and would recommend.
Value for money, location is quite good, however is in a gothic part of Barcelona so you can have a bad impression at first, however we quite enjoy it. Lots of nice restaurants around. We had a family room with a big balcony to the main street, we were 3 couples (early-mid 30's) and we had lots of fun so we didn't mind that the place was very basic, however my husband and I wouldn't stay in this hotel if we were going a "romantic/ relaxing trip". The bakery in front of the hotel is excellent!
Absolutely noisy, people very very loud all night long!! I personally don't have problems to sleep and woke up plenty of times during the night.
Our host was Jose, he was very kind to us and helped us with everything! Also, he didnt mind that we would go clubbing and came back at 6 in the morning. The others hosts were also very kind, only the cleaning lady wasn't that gentle haha. We had a great stay, close to everything we wanted to go to and in a nice neighbourhood. Really recommend!
If you're on a budget, this place is really good. It was a spacious room for 4 of us, clean and with a good shower and bathroom. The location is really good - close to the waterfront and very walk-able to La Rambla, with quite a lot of eating places nearby.
No breakfast, but there is a nice bakery that does croissants and coffee just opposite. The street was a little noisy at night, but nothing too extreme.
Location. Near to the beach and Rambla. Both are like 10min walking Safe. Frontdoor is always locked and no one can get in without a checkup from the guardians. Little french balcony Every time you want to leave the pension you have to give in the key of your hotelroom. And when you come in again you ring the bell outside and receive the key back at the reception. Kinda scary at first but I guess they want to see if you are not bringing any guests with you. So it was fine with us. One of my friends left her phone at the hotel to charge the battery, when we came back it was still at the same place Fresh towels everyday (but also with dirty stains) so i dont know if its positive or negative. The cleaning lady cleans the rooms everyday and also in the hall you smell detergent so it looks and smells clean, but again the sheets and towels are really disgusting with there stains and other persons hair!!!! Bakery and market straight on the corner.
Hygiene: the sheets where dirty. Everyday I found several blond/grey hairs on my pillow or in the sheets it was disgusting Rooms: The rooms are old and for primary use. This is not bad for the price you pay but they say in the description that every room has a ceiling ventilator. Well, ours wasnt there. Instead we had a standing ventilator in the corner wich was hardly working and making so much noise it took a while to fall asleep. Shower was obstructed. 2 of us got humps and itchy all over our body the day we came back home. Its still not clear where this came from. IF you just want to be near the beach and the city centre this pension is fine. But if you care about comfort and even more about hygiene please dont go there. This was my first stay at a pension and I am never going to do this again. Rather look for a 2-3 star hotel.
Pictures don't match with the rooms. I booked a room for 3 with 3 separated beds as shown at the picture, but we eventually received a room only with one signle and one matrimonial bed. The recepcionist changed our room for the second night.
Room was large.
Quadruple room was dark (small window to interior), hot and unpleasant. Even at noon it was hard to tell if there was light outside. The fans had no effect on cooling the place. We checked out after one night and moved to another hotel.
excellent location in the Gothic area, very friendly staff
Room is pretty big and good location just off the beach
The location was brilliant! Less than 5 minutes from La Rambla and only 5 minutes to the Port. There is a gorgeous little bakery on the corner opposite the hotel which we used for breakfast every morning. The sheets were clean, as were the towels. The beds were very comfy. The room was lovely and clean. We stayed in the large family room which had 3 balconies and was a lovely spacious size. The bathroom was a nice size too. The reception is manned all of the time but they don't speak much English. All in all, great hotel for the location and the price!!
The noise from the street (but you are right in the centre so some noise is expected!)
The price was right and it was located near Las Ramblas in the Gothic Quarter, which is exactly where we wanted to be.
It was very loud late at night. A lot of noise from the street all night long.
The room is confortable and the Pension has a good location!
The room´s door is really strange.
Share bathroom but very clean, good location for the marina & cruise ship
we didnt arrive untill after midnight & were knocking for a good while before we could get it, the room was very small & only suitable for an overnight or very short stay
Situation was great, easy to walk here and there, a lot of shop and cafes were near.
Nights were noisy from street, but we used to sleep well anyway. Room was little cool, but we got heater after asking it.
Small hotel in a very good location, nearby Barceloneta, La Rambla, the gothic center etc. The staff was friendly, the room was clean (although not very large, but who spends much time in the room? ;). A good hotel for its price.
It is a little bit loud outside because of the window's bad isolation, but you'll survive without any further problems.
Excellent location, right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. One of the few hotels at this price range which offers private bathrooms. Friendly staff.
Very noisy, especially at night; this town never sleeps! A lot of stairs up to the rooms, but all hotels in this area are like that. A problem gatting hot water the first day, but it worked fine after that.
it was close to seaside of Barcelona..its easy to find..
rooms are small.
