Hotel Curious  

It's really at the centre of the city. The stuff is very friendly. Breakfast is ok.

Single room was very, very small, so was the bathroom. There was an elevator running just outisde my window. The bed was quite short and yelling with every move, thank's god I was only sleeping.

Curious is in an excellent central location - half way down Las Ramblas, backing onto the market area. But it is in a quiet attractive side street. The staff are incredibly helpful - they gave us an overview of the City (the sea area, the old town, Gaudi etc) and recomended restaurants etc. The breakfast was good - nice light airy room. The room was not large but had everything we needed in and IKEA type style. The bed was firm but comfortable If we go back to Barcelona we would go there again

For business travel I would have liked to have a desk and a laptop safe in the room.

I liked the location of the hotel. I liked the decor of the hotel, and how clean it was. I thought the staff were so helpful in showing us how to get about. I liked the security there 24hrs. Overall fab weekend.

Only unfortunate thing was you could hear very clearly the people in the next room.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is really friendly. The wi-fi internet is free and fast. The breakfast is simple but okay.

No slippers. Would be better if I'd stayed close to Diagonal, not to La Ramblas.

We stayed at Hotel Curious before and after a cruise and we loved the location. It is located right in the heart of Las Ramblas and it is literally a very short walk to pretty much everything - shopping, markets, restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpfull with all our requests. The room was small but very clean and tidy. We loved the fresh fruits in the morning for breakfast and there were plenty of choices of fresh fruit and toasts as well as yogurts and coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

The only thing that I need to point out is that the noise especially if you are staying in the bottom floor can get loud until very late in the morning. It was not so bad when we stayed on the third floor before our trip; however after our trip we stayed at the first floor at the front room of the facing road and the noise was a bit excessive until very late. Other than that, the hotel is perfect!

Everything! It's excellent hotel.

Rooms are not so big, but you are not going to spend so much time in hotel room. You are going to spend your time discovering the city...

The hotel staff were always available and exceptionally friendly and helpful. Mateo, Sergie and Karyn made coming home each night feeling like returning to friends or family. I stayed with my girlfriend in a large single room, which was somewhat small. However, the furnishings, design, washroom and balcony were wonderfully modern and comfortable. The radio and television were a real plus, as well as the Internet in the room! The location is also great!, And right off Ramblas St. Morning buffet was terrific too.

I don't have much to say about negatives. Maybe that there could have been a closet for clothing. But there was not much available room in this particular suite. So that really isn't a feasible option. Maybe more simply a negative is that we had to leave. We spent 7 nights in this hotel and area and greatly wished we could have remained another week.

The location is unbelievably good - just 3 mins walk to Rambla Estudios (upper part of the merriest Rambla), 10 mins to Aerobus station, 5 mins to Placa Catalunya.The hotel staff are very nice and warm + fluent English speakers. The breakfast is quite fine. The room is very basic, but comfortable and clean. Definitely recommended as good value for money and brilliant location to explore Barcelona
