The room was cleaned everyday.
The stuff speaks english very badly. And there was no internet connection in our room. And in other parts of hostel was very poor.
WLAN didnt work at all in the room. My room was not ready to check in, although i arrived at about 3-4 pm. It had to be cleaned first and i had to wait for that. No elevator.
Perfect location, good budget accommodation with AC (ask for the remote!), cheap private parking available.
A little bit noisy
The host is so nice and friendly and it was a pleasure to chat and interact with him :)
There is no air conditioning so it might be a bit hot whether you travel in the summer. Nevertheless, the temperature starts to drop at night, so the heat is still bearable when you are asleep.
Good location... Friendly and kind hosts but noone speak english...
Not a good WiFi signal
Nice clean rooms. Dark room at night with extra shutters
Slightly hot in summer as no air con but room had a fan. Not much English of staff
On a great street with 2 fab places to get food and although central it felt tucked away from the touristy bits and had a traditional local feel. Owners friendly, room fine and shower good. Secure and clean. Decent price.
No soap in the room.
The place looked like a classic pension right out of one's imagination. The decor was fitting and the family staff were nice and easy going. Wi-fi was good and the location is terrific...at the same time that's its drawback. I had the 1st floor room with the balcony facing the street. With no fan or a/c in July there was no other way to get through the night without the windows open. The street noise below made it even more difficult, beyond the too warm room with no air circulation, to get a restful night's sleep. I had to leave to find more comfortable, quiet accommodations.
Street noise, no fan or a/c, lack of attention to details...no towels in bath, toilet paper, no key offered beyond room key for front entry, etc. A bit lackadaisical.
Hostal Sevilla has the best hosts. They helped me take up my luggage and then watched my luggage for me when I checked out. They also called taxis for me when I needed them and my room was cleaned everyday. They have a coffee and tea machine, fast internet and the location is excellent. It is a short walk to literally every tourist attraction and because you are on a side street it doesn't have the loud, tourist atmosphere. Make sure that if you don't want to climb stairs that you ask for a room on a lower floor. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn't need to stay at the Hilton.
The bed was not the most comfortable of beds.
The owners were very helpful with directions and having umbrellas to use in the rain. Lots of places to get food and eat close by. There was a bathroom on each floor with three rooms to a floor.
The building was older with some light mold on the ceiling.
Good location! Friendly hosts
Located on a narrow street over two bars and Friday and Saturday is very noisy late into the night!
Although we booked a shared bathroom double bed room, it is good. The bathroom is clean and just 4 people to share. Bedroom is clean also. Staff is nice.
There was miscommunication with the owners about us staying another night. We said we weren't sure yet if we were going to stay a second night and the lady said no problem, something for free...but when we got back after sightseeing and checked out they charged us for the second night because they said that we said we were going to stay another night when that wasn't what we said. It was just very confusing and if the language barrier hadn't been a problem it probably would have been just fine. Overall it was a very nice place.
Close to two bars/cafes, a small shop and at the end of a long shopping mile.
A very charming place to stay, the location can't be better, just a couple of blocks behind the Cathedral, which is at the center of Granada. The management is very helpful and friendly. Great for the price.
Location was central - you can walk everywhere in Granada The room was modern and in a very good condition Nice touch leaving fruit and cakes out You pay when leaving (just remember to keep some cash spare)
Price and location are perfect for the city. Nice and helpful personnel. NO Breakfast in the place, but many budget options around the corner.
Rooms look a bit worn. Hard to get a parking place nearby.
1. cheap private garage (locked from outside) for just 10€ per day 2. Very kind and helpful-assisting (even without asking for) owners. The man explained me (in Spanish) where we are and what we can do before I could ask for that! He also directly accomponied us to the private garage personally. 3. located perfectly for a Granada trip 4. shower with a good amount of water coming out
1. for my friend it was a bit to loud because of other guests who were heedless during the night (after midnight - one time nearly the whole night!) 2. don't expect too much ambience from the simple furniture
Great location and relatively clean and affordable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Responded well to additional requests, to include clean up supplies after vomiting child.
Had to ring bell and wait for staff to get into building, which seemed bothersome and intrusive to family. Family was very nice about it, though.
Friendly and very helpful
The staff were very helpful, offering us free maps and suggestions of where to go for tapas. The beds are very comfortable and you do not feel the cold as we did in some of the other places we stayed at in Granada. Facilities are clean and adequate.
There was no television - of course, this should not be necessary on holiday, though it can be quite nice to wind down to a bit of Spanish-style television before going to sleep. There were no towels provided.
The owner and his family were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to be helpful. The hotel was clean and warm at night (It has been an exceptionally cold winter but out of the last five hotels I have stayed in on my tour of Spain this is literally the only one I have been warm in). Also the hotel is in a great location with an excellent choice of restaurants on your doorstep. The Cathedral is a minutes walk away and Alhambra a 10 minute walk.
Nothing... everything was great.
Friendly staff, very nice location, clean bathroom
Just a small heater, it was cold!
It's really well located.
The staff didn't speak english. You have to pay with cash.
