The staff were so helpful. We arrived without a plan and in less than 5 minutes he helped us to arrange everything for out stay: where to go what to do where to eat what to see. The location is excellent, quiet area, 10 minutes walk from Alhambra and the city centre.
The internet connection could be better.
Very good location (between the old town & the new town), nice & traditional place surrounded with trees and plants, very calm & nice atmosphere. Nice personnel. Good wifi. A lot of antiques in the pension.
Need some renovation electric circuitry & a Fridge in the room with at least a common kitchen
the owners are really friendly and helpful, their house is lovely in a quiet area but easily walkable to all of the attractions . For the money it was excellent.
The proprietors were very helpful and friendly and did everything they could to make my stay comfortable. Breakfast on the upper terrace was first-class and the coffee was some of the best I have ever had. The room was very clean and had a lovely view. I especially loved watching the dawn come up over the Torre Bermeja.
There was nothing I did not like. There was a little television noise late at night but not enough to bother me.
Excellent breakfast on rooftop terrace definitely worth of money. Pension is under Alhambra in nice and quiet location out of tourist routes.
Perfect location and great service. Property has lots of character and charm so don't expect modern features. Owners are very pleasant and helpful.
The location is perfect, just 15 min walk to Alhambra. The staff was very friendly. The streets are narrow but if you have luck you can find a free parking place just in front of the hotel. And definitely not on the last place : the terrace on the roof has wonderful panoramic view to the city ;)
Very obliging host. Very good breakfast. A recommended place to stay.
Amazing place to stay, the owners could not be friendlier, more polite or helpful. I will certainly recommend this place to anyone I come across that is going to Granada.
Our room was lovely and cool. It was a very central location. It was near the Alhambra. The breakfast was wonderful and on a rooftop area with a great view. I liked the paintings on the walls. The staff could only speak a little English but were goo communicators and so lovely. My husband had a terrible toothache so we left early but they bent over backwards to help us.
Good quiet location, easy to park, amazing staff, extremely helpful. Best breakfast in Granada!! Nice and clean too.
Nothing,i liked everything
Great location in terms of whatever one might wish to see in old Granada! The room was basic but more than adequate for our purposes, and the price for basic but comfortable cannot be beat.
The mattresses have no pads on them. While I realize that would not bother some people, I was uncomfortable knowing that only a thin sheet was between me and a mattress on which countless others had slept. Also, the fabric headboards are affixed permanently to the walls, and they are in need of replacing as they are stained from years of use.
Very friendly and helpful, kind and patient owners. Great breakfast, well worth 3€! Fantastic location, right on the local C3 bus route as well as the Granada hop on\off 'train', not to mention just down the slope from Alhambra and a 5 min stroll to centre, and very quiet! Would absolutely stay again!
Nothing really. My room was on ground floor right next to reception and with water tanks for whole house outside. As with all concrete and tile buildings, noise can soon travel, but was pleasantly surprised at how little these two minor factors were of concern. I write this in case others complain about it. Really, the whole house was very quiet, and a pleasant oasis away from hustle of being a tourist :D
Jorge was very accommodating, kind, and informative. He gave us great ideas of where to go to get tapas, flamenco, etc. There is a city bus stop right outside the property and a hop-on/hop-off hybrid vehicle (that looks a little like a small train) that stops within 3 blocks and takes you to the tourist spots. Jorge let us park in front of Suecia. We didn't try the breakfast, so no comments on that part. Our room had a fan that kept us comfortable at night. It had twin beds with a small private toilet and shower. It was perfect for my sister and me. Pension Suecia is a nice place, in a pretty and quiet area, and is fairly close to the cathedral, Alahambra, and other sights (within walking distance for most people). Will definitely stay there again when in Granada.
Close to city centre and Alhambra, restaurants and bars within v easy walking distance. Fantastic value for money, owner so helpful, advised best places to visit, buses etc Breakfast on roof terrace a treat and incredible value at €3.50 Is not luxurious but a taste of real Spain - I would definitely stay again
No parking, tiny access roads so reluctant to park on street, however there was parking v nearby at €12 for 24 hours.
Quiet location with lovely roof terrace and good views. The owner was very helpful and gave us loads of information about the city, getting Alhambra tickets and places to eat and drink. The place was a bit quirky with an old fashioned look but that added to the appeal. The bus stop to town and Alhambra are two minutes away. It was a restful place to escape the busy city
Towels were a bit worn.
lovely place to stay nice breakfast too
The host was very nice. She was very helpful and informative. She provided a fantastic recommendation to eat tapas and raciones at a nearby plaza ( Los Atramuces). Hostal is located on a very quiet secluded street and within walking distance of everything. The breakfast is excellent and served on an outdoor patio overlooking the neighborhood. The hostal common areas were tastefully decorated with original oil paintings and authentic spanish novelties. This hostal is a hidden gem. I will return some day.
nothing- all good
The hosts were really great, friendly and helpful. The interior is great, feels very homely. Easy walk to most of the main sightseeing area. Great view from the terrace
There was some smell in the bathroom, not very strong. just I think the sewage system must be lil but old.
Fast wifi, location
Uncomfortable bedding, no AC
-Super friendly staffs; very informative and helped us with A LOT of things, including printing our tickets, recommending good restaurants, explaining how to get to different places, etc -Excellent value. For the price I paid, I honestly could not be more satisfied -Good location; alhambra is within a walkable distance
Looks like in a museum but it has an atmosphere. The rooms are smaller but with very comfortable beds.We liked very much the villa and the part of the town. Calm place in a walking distance to the center. They have fantastic terrace on the roof where you can have tasty breakfast for 3 or 3,5 euros, do not remember anymore. Nice and helpful staff. Overall excellent value for money.
Helpful and very informative staff. Explained lots of things to us.
Ceiling fan a bit wobbly
Great location, lovely roof terrace for breakfasting and very helpful proprietor. One of our party had a recent ankle injury and they were moved to a ground floor room, and given a parking space right outside the door - excellent service.
Liked everything, though it was quite difficult to find - even with Sat Nav.
Welcome of the people. Very good quality for the price and very good breakfast even if there is not a lot of choices but for 3,5€ per person you cannot complain!! A special thanks as well to the Pension for the tickets for the Alhambra knowing that it is not easy to get just the day before... Great place for the price
Difficult to find by car as it is a little street and you have to look for the Pension name "Suecia" in place of the street name. Anyway we recommend this pension
