Great rooms. Not huge but creative. Very cool showers. Nice place all and all . Enjoyed our stay.
hallways very dark
Nice room without noises in spite of being in the middle of everything. Very comfortable bed. The location is the best in Madrid with many restaurants and shops nearby.
Although it looks nice and chic, the fact that the bathroom walls are made of glass, creates a problem in the middle of the night: the one who uses it wakes the other one up when turning the light on in the bathroom.
The location is good.
We spent 5 days in Madrid accommodated in the hotel Petit Palace Art Gallery. We were very satisfied with all. The staff at the reception was perfect, the room was clean and beautiful. The hotel is situated near the center and near the amazing park Retiro. Two metro various stations are also near the hotel, so we didn't problem to get everywhere, where we wanted. :)
Fabulous location in Salamanca,an extremely good location within a short walk to all that Madrid has to offer
The small room & glasses bathroom
the location is great, the stuff are nice and kind,we felt like being home.
Location Great Assistance from desk staff (Oscar) Nice shower Comfortable bed and room Price was reasonable
Lack of greeting, acknowledgement from woman at desk Bar/restaurant under construction- Not open Room was dark Smelled like smoke when we first arrived
the position of the hotel
Didn't like the staff at all. i had to wait 2 hours even if the knoew i was arriving at 11.30 am my Room (was a king size) was ready at 13.50 2 and half hour late. the room wasnt a king size and my view (they told me i had a good one) was directly to a tree that kept banging on the window.... speachless
A little basic for 4 star rating
Great location in swanky, quiet shopping area, close to good bars and restaurants and museums and transport.
Staff friendly but a little bit slow in handling computerised check in/out systems. Can't say we loved the attempt at funky modern design.
The hotel is in a nice location that is very safe. The price was good for that neighborhood. The woman at the reception desk was wonderful, and very friendly and accomodating to us.
The man who checked us in took a very long time at checkin and then mixed up the rooms and put the people who needed a two bed room in a one bed room. The beds are very firm for anyone that this bothers, for me it is not a problem.
Bathroom arrangement, could be made to look a bit more private.
Uncomfortable beds and squeaky bunk beds
Location was good: neighborhood safe
Layout of room with low sloping ceiling had us stooping and bending a lot;
The people are very kind and helpfull. Rooms are very confortable.
Breakfast is opening at 8.00 which is a little bit late.
Friendly staff, great location, reasonably priced with rooms for a families of five. The free half bottles of fizzy and twelve grapes for all adults in the hotel to celebrate new year was a nice touch.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, internet connection intermitent with outdated browser (the children were not impressed) and the parking fee of £25 a day was bit more than expected.
The room was beautiful and modern, could not fault it at all!
Great location in the Salamanca district.19th century building reconverted into modern hotel with every amenity, including hydro massage showers.
Some maintenance details are starting to slip up a bit.
Really nothing at all..
The wall is super thin, you can hear everything from the next room, and the hallway. The bed is so hard like you sleep on a rock!! The room is smell like a storage without open for 10 years.!! So disappointed for choose this "hotel" in my honey moon. We check-out next morning, can't stay any longer..
Friendly staff, good location
Room was comfortable and cosy. The location was great; my goal was to be close to Retiro Park for morning runs and that worked out really well.
There's only one English language channel on TV (CNN), I'd appreciate some more (BBC, for example). Breakfast was expensive, so I opted for some of the great cafes nearby instead.
I liked that it was in an exclusive area and not many tourists. Also it is close to two metro stations and beautiful park. The hotel stored my excess luggage whilst i took an 8 day trip to Andalusia.
My fridge did not work for three days. My bedside light did not work at all. My single rm was small but apart from the things which did not work it was ok.
Location, staff, breakfast
Hardness of the bed, lack of a facecloth in the shower and only a small bottle of still water in minibar.
