Everything unless wifi
Wash basin without plug, not good for wet shaving.
The location in upscale Salamanca places you in the high end shopping and gallery district
The rooms are not well insulated against street noise. The few quiet rooms available on the top floor are classified as family and not available. My friend's room was an overheated sauna with an inoperative air conditioner. Her requests for repair went unheeded.
I loked the lobby, the breakfast room, the location
A little bit Too small the room
Great location, close to restaurants and boutiques. Very cozy hotel.
No privacy in the bathroom, it's all glass and no lock on the door. The toilet seat had permanent stains on it. Although it was sanitized for our use, it should've been replaced with a new seat. The room is not sound-proof, we could hear our neighbors they had music on and were talking loudly.
It is in a very upscale and central Salamanca neighborhood close to high end retail and multiple dining choices.
The rooms in the hotel are noisy because of the street sounds. The few quiet rooms that exist are blocked as "family rooms" on the top floor. The hotel seems odd and disorganized. There was no air conditioning in my friend's room, despite a request to repair it. The printer in the lobby didn't work. I wouldn't stay here again.
center of Madrid
nightclub across the street, busy cafe in the building
Dangerously close to very expensive shops, very good restaurants and the lot. Nice combination of old style and modern design.
Pricey breakfast, check nearby pub!
Location is exellent. Breakfast was good.
Room was small, trafic noise from the street can disturp occasionally. Air-condition does not work properly, especially moisture from the bathroom fills the room. Price compared to quality was high.
-the room -the bathroom -that we could check in early as we came in on a nighttrain Englishspeaking tv channels
breakfast too expensive, had no glutenfree bread alternatives
The staff were super friendly and accommodating and location was great in a fabulous quiet area
The fact that there was no swimming pool
Great rooms. Not huge but creative. Very cool showers. Nice place all and all . Enjoyed our stay.
hallways very dark
Nice room without noises in spite of being in the middle of everything. Very comfortable bed. The location is the best in Madrid with many restaurants and shops nearby.
Although it looks nice and chic, the fact that the bathroom walls are made of glass, creates a problem in the middle of the night: the one who uses it wakes the other one up when turning the light on in the bathroom.
The location is good.
We spent 5 days in Madrid accommodated in the hotel Petit Palace Art Gallery. We were very satisfied with all. The staff at the reception was perfect, the room was clean and beautiful. The hotel is situated near the center and near the amazing park Retiro. Two metro various stations are also near the hotel, so we didn't problem to get everywhere, where we wanted. :)
Fabulous location in Salamanca,an extremely good location within a short walk to all that Madrid has to offer
The small room & glasses bathroom
the location is great, the stuff are nice and kind,we felt like being home.
Location Great Assistance from desk staff (Oscar) Nice shower Comfortable bed and room Price was reasonable
Lack of greeting, acknowledgement from woman at desk Bar/restaurant under construction- Not open Room was dark Smelled like smoke when we first arrived
the position of the hotel
Didn't like the staff at all. i had to wait 2 hours even if the knoew i was arriving at 11.30 am my Room (was a king size) was ready at 13.50 2 and half hour late. the room wasnt a king size and my view (they told me i had a good one) was directly to a tree that kept banging on the window.... speachless
A little basic for 4 star rating
Great location in swanky, quiet shopping area, close to good bars and restaurants and museums and transport.
Staff friendly but a little bit slow in handling computerised check in/out systems. Can't say we loved the attempt at funky modern design.
The hotel is in a nice location that is very safe. The price was good for that neighborhood. The woman at the reception desk was wonderful, and very friendly and accomodating to us.
The man who checked us in took a very long time at checkin and then mixed up the rooms and put the people who needed a two bed room in a one bed room. The beds are very firm for anyone that this bothers, for me it is not a problem.
Bathroom arrangement, could be made to look a bit more private.
