Beds where terrible, lousy service, they couldn't even give a waking call. Terrible break fast, it was as if they didn't have enough for every body.

Nice hotel, lerge room, great location close to the city center, shopping and metro stations. Just 5-7 minutes walking to Catalonia square, 3-5 minutes to metro station. Nice personnel ready to help any time. Free and stable wi-fi connection.

Sometimes it was a bit noisy in the room. There is a school or smth near, and also there was smth like a gym above our room. Sometimes you can hear people jogging on your ceiling. You have to prolong your free wifi ticket every 3 days. Baby bed provided by the hotel was very dirty. You have to wait 2-5 minutes before hot water starts to pour in the bathroom, at first it goes cold.

Well positioned hotel with good room set up for family of 4. Bunk beds in adjoining annex with a curtain to seperate the bunk room area from the main bedroom. Wifi worked well and consistently.

the lighting for the bathroom and main bed are shared. The bathroom walls are glass sheets so allows enough light in the main bedroom. This was ok but to allow kids access to the bathroom at night we put a bedside lamp at the door and left it on. Otherwise we would have had main lights over our bed turned on.

restaurant is a bit small and not enough staff to cater for a rush of breakfast goers. Sometimes there weren't enough tumblers for orange juice, etc because the one person was doing everything Also, there is only one lift and it is small.

The location and price was great.

The beds was uncomfortable and the room was very small. The staff was helpful but made us feel like we were bothering them if we asked questions.

The location is wonderful. Walking distance to the best sights in Barcelona city center. Rooms are small but modern and efficient. I would stay here again.

The doors to the rooms slammed as they shut. This was a problem during the night when some guests returned very late at night.

The breakfast was very poor. The hotel staff were very uncooperative, and do not seem to understand that people's situations may change. I was booked to stay four nights and ended up staying three. They made me pay the extra night, which I thought is unacceptable.

Great sized rooms for family with 2 teens. Good access to train and metro for travelling in the city and for reaching the coast and airport by train.

It is a bit grubby, no denying it.

Location would probably be the only ok thing.

This Hotel is the dirtest and most uncomfortable hotel I have ever stayed in, the beds where very very hard, the floor would have been better, it dark and dated, The aircon is pretty much no existant , the computers don't work and the free wifi is very very poor,,, this hotel is advertised as a 4star,, it would possible be a 1star. I'm glad I only had to stay for 1 night.., Good luck if you've book this hotel,,

Obviously, English speaking staffs are very well trained and offer excellent services. Free WiFi is extremely fast and easy to hook online with your smartphones and notebooks. I'm very pleased to learn that the amenities and services are identical with the information provided on booking.com. My kids love the bunker beds. It's an excellent choice for family with kids. Metro underground station is just 5 minutes walking distance. This is really a high-tech hotel which provides automatic lightings whenever you walk in the corridors. Petit Palace Barcelona, I'll be back again!!!

Didn't like the black painted walls made everything looks so dark.

It is very well located to walk to La Rambla (street shops and markets) and Gran Via Corts Catalanes (high end shops) and for getting on one of the "hop on, hop off" tourist buses (up on Gran Via Corts Catalanes). There's also a beautiful patisserie/bakery almost next door (at the nearest street corner) for a lovely quick breakfast. The room was nice and clean and the staff are courteous and helpful.

There is a child care facility or nursery school right next door, whose main entrance appeared to be somewhere between the two buildings. This meant from 7am onwards we were woken by the shrilling voices of little children. Not so much a problem if you're an early riser but we weren't planning on getting up that early :) I'd take a pair of ear plugs next time.

Staff very helpful and friendly.

Our room was too hot and the aircon was not yet working as it was being switched from heating to cooling for the change of season. Breakfast was crowded with not enough seating for everyone. The food turnover capacity also not fast enough. We had to wait for coffee machine to be refilled, some trays were empty etc. It did not have a gym as advertised, only a sauna, treadmill and training bicycle.

Good location, nice staff, quiet clean room.

Reserved a twin room, but was given a double. After asking to be moved was taken to 2 more double rooms. They couldn't find a twin room. When I reserved the room on Booking.com, I selected "twin", but when I looked at my confirmation it said "twin or double". I felt as though this was a bait and switch.

Hotel was in a good location for city centre attractions and shopping areas. Streets around hotel were safe.

Hotel was not vey well maintained as signage was missing/broken. Some power sockets in room did not work and controls on shower were broken. Levels of cleanliness were poor. Bed was very uncomfortable as matress was too hard.

I dun feel any warm welcome from hotel staff, stayed there for 4 nights, feel like a place to sleep and keep lugguages. The hotel staff dun bother to say hi / bye when we went in / out of the hotel.....!

Das Hotel ist nicht durchgängig sauber und wirkt ungepflegt (Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer verklebt, Gardinen dunkelweiß und zerissen, im Frühstücksraum wackelige Tische, alle mit Papierservietten unterlegt, damit der Kaffee nicht aus der Tasse schwappt, der Frühstücksraum an sich schmuddelig (Säulen an den Tischen etc.))

La situation. Au coeur de la ville. Magnifiquement situé. Accueil très agréable. Petit-déjeuner sympa, si l'on arrive tôt. Ensuite, plus rien n'est garanti...

La chambre était "glauque", une toute petite fenêtre ouverte sur un minuscule couloir de lumière. Pour 800 Euros pour 5 jours, on mérite mieux, me semble-t-il.
