Centralized reservation system and inability to book twin beds
There was a noise in the room we had 508. it went on all the time it sounded like a generator coming on and off . did not sleep much third night because of the constant humming .
The quadruple room we got was ideal for my family (two adults, 2 young kids and a baby). Bulk beds make the room spacious and comfortable.
Friendly and helpful staff, very good location walking distance from main landmarks, clean and comfortable, good quality/price ratio. Free bicycle available to visit the city!
Our room on the ground floor has few mechanical noise (plumbing)… but nothing to worry too much!
Location is perfect, very beautiful hotel with the friendly staff and nicely equiped rooms.
internet was very week in the room.
- Excelent location - Comfortable room
- Bathroom door don't give privacy
The location is excellent and near the centre of the city , museums and restaurants. The breakfast was very good, fresh and with a lot of choice.
The lack of a bar or cafeteria or facilities for making tea or coffee.
This hotel is in a relatively quiet area though is within easy walking distance of the three major art galleries, a large public park and the city centre. The breakfast was first class with a wide variety. The housekeeping was efficient with friendly service. Being able to open the window was a plus. While the decoration and lighting is a little over the top, it is never boring.
The absence of tea making facilities in the rooms.
We were upgraded to the deluxe room with a beautiful balcony. Everything was perfect.
Great service, great breakfast, most delicious Spanish tortilla, buffet presentation was beautiful and the quality of food is the best.... Everyone was helpful and courteous.
Not everyone likes firm beds, But the problem was solve next day. I miss you ...
Location Size of Hotel Rooms Bikes available
All was fine I would like to negotiate a rate for frequent stays and possibly a larger room or upgrade
Extraordinary spread for breakfast.
The free bike hire was appreciated. The best way to see any city. We had a very quiet room. The loan of an ipad was a nice touch.
The fancy shower didn´t work and there was no real hot water for 3 days. A 4 star hotel should have a good shower. Our room key had to be updated and a new wifi code each day. Little annoyances which you can do without. We had to ask for the tyres to be pumped up on the bikes and they were not well maintained. When you have to sign to say you´ll pay 250 euros for a tatty bike it´s a bit much!
book early at a good price. value for money.
I wish I could stay longer at this hotel.
Well maintained property with helpful staff and great location.
The hotel is close to the airbus stop and the train station, but located in the heart of the art boulevard of Madrid. You open your door and go directly to the Retina Park and the Plabo Museum. Rooms are very nice. I would recommend the superior rooms as it is big, with balcony and decorated in baroque style. The breakfast is fabulous with so many choices!
The double room is too small.
The breakfast was offering high quality and yet a big variety of food and beverage.
The room was extremely tiny and had a small window facing a shaft. There was no light during the whole day. In addition to that the bathroom was without ventilation and there was no possibility of locking the bathroom door. Both the facilities and the size of the room were not good enough considering the price of the room and the level (4 stars hotel) of the structure.
Excellent location, quiet with easy access to all major sites.
It would be highly appreciated if the reception would have some suggestions of restaurants
The hotel rooms were modern and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Good location -10 minute walk from the Prado Museum.
Good staff,clean room
No exterior window with view, noise from kitchen staff.
Kindly staff of the hotel with useful information , clean and quiet rooms, good breakfast !
Mostly the uniqueness of the property and the friendliness of the staff.
Rooms were a little tiny!
Quite food location with the beautiful park nearby, less than 10 mins walk to metro. new and fashion decoration.Large bath room compared to the bedroom.
Quilt is thin.It is not very convenient to acess the WIFI, and the signal is not very good.
Very nice hotel with walking distance to the city ctr. Very clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast also very good.
