As I was telling Mr. Comas in the reception I think this hotel is very close to perfect, and I will definitely recommend this hotel, it has a very friendly staff, the rooms are spacious and clean and the location is perfect. I'll book here another time for sure the beds could have been softer, but when I remarked it, they said that I could get an extra matress on top if I wanted, so it's not a real problem.

Location was ideal. We had a view of the Cathedral. Bed was very, very firm. Phone did not work initially. Staff did not provide information to us (as Americans) regarding electricity and putting key card in slot. This should be automatic to us or any other customers.

I booked the hotel for a 10 nights stay (family of four). I am very familiar with Malaga so I knew the location was good, and I was looking forward to an exceptional stay since I chose the best room, a ‘quintuple’, from a 4 stars ‘high tech’ hotel, at a cost of nearly 1500 euro. Unfortunately this was not the case. A few days after my booking I was charged 115 euro despite the promise here at booking.com that ‘your card is never charged’. Booking.com support kindly explained that sometimes they do this since it was a long stay (what if I wanted to use a different card, or pay cash?). At check-in, to my surprise they immediately (without asking my permission first) charged my card for another 617 euro! I was given a 3 day WIFI password and went to my room. The hotel tries to save energy (and money) so corridors were very dark. Since the few lights take a while to switch on you basically walk in darkness. Now from the pictures at booking.com it looks like the quintuple ‘5 adults’ room has one bed in an area, and another bed along with two bunk beds in another. The idea was for me to work at night while my family was asleep, without disturbing them. To my surprise the room had only a twin bed and two bunk beds (no safety guard), so three beds. I did not measure it but it was obviously smaller than the promised 32 square meters. So I immediately went down to protest at the desk. To my further surprise the gentleman (despite being very kind and polite) spoke a very basic English (a 4 star hotel in Calle Larios should have multilingual clerks) so communicating was hard. I told him that what I actually got was their ‘family room’ (as per booking.com description) but I was in fact being charged for the quintuple, which was what I booked. He basically told me that rooms like the one I booked do not even exist at the hotel and even if they existed, they were fully booked. If we were five adults they would have thrown another bed in the already cramped room. Only good points: location, Jacuzzi (but controls were incomprehensible) and breakfast (plenty of food). In my case, since I basically can only get a cup of coffee in the morning, at 10 euro each, I spent 100 euro for ten cups of cafe-con-leche (no complaining here since I knew the outrageous price in advance, just advising to eat as much as you can if you have the bad idea to book a stay at this place).

Location was good, close to main square and shopping Room really small and dark. Markets itself as a high tech hotel and internet in room really slow. No Wifi signal in room and mobile signal non existant in room. Corridors all black with lights that turn on when walk down but half the time did not come on quick enough so walking down in dark. Room small and really hot, even with air conditioning off, would not like to stay here in summer when really hot.

Excellent, breakfast, outstanding location, friendly efficient staff, very clean, well priced. Beds were extremely hard, no lock on bathroom door, would have liked a small table and chairs to sit at. Would have been nice to have a clock in the room. Many more pros than cons.

Location fantastic and the service excellent. I needed a cab to the airport and the driver came into the hotel to help me. I have a fractured shoulder and was having a difficult time getting around and the staff was excellent. Will return again, this time to wander the streets and shop!! Pet friendly which is the key for me. No direct parking.

Modern hotel, excellent location, minutes from everything. Postcard view of the cathedral from my room. EUR 70/night is expensive for Spain. 50-60 is more appropriate. And for sightseeing, Malaga's not worth more than 6 hours. Only the cathedral and the hike up the castle, that's it. Nothing compared to Granada/Cordoba/Seville.
