Location was fantastic. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfasts varied and good. Free bikes were a plus.
No tea/coffee in bedrooms. Room only (no lounge/bar - to be fair they don't claim to have one but some socialising areas in the hotel would be good). Very firm beds.
good room breakfast staff friendly good choice of breakfast helpful and friendly at reception great for center of city
Staff helpful. Room good size.
Decor not to my taste. Too dark. Bed in middle of room.
The location is great. The hotel is clean and comfortable but certainly not charming as the pictures might suggest.
Good standard regarding cleaning of the room. Super location directly in the inner city although our hired car didn't want to pick us up there. Overall friendly staff.
You don't need the breakfast - visit a café instead. I recommend Cafe Costa just around the corner. Café Central is also a nice place. Some parts of the hotel need overhauling eg the so called "business corner".
We had a room in the first floor 111, but all the floors on our side 110-115 and probably the ones on the same side in the upper floors would have the same problem. There's a bar with terrace in the ground floor, La Vaca Loca, and people was yelling until midnight. Not the best experience for a family with a kid, eight years old.
Friendly staff, and excellent location
Parking quite far and quite expensive, had to walk for like 20 minutes with 4 bags till I found the hotel! All roads to the area were blocked, took us an hour in the car to reach the parking. Found several human hair in my bathtub, and remains of pills! Was impossible to use the bathtub as it was very complicated and no explanatory note (contrary to other hotels). Same with TV set and it's remote. Uncomfortable beds and walls are not sound proof, so couldn't sleep all night from the noise of our neighbors. And v uncomfortable pillows. Honestly, disappointing experience, had only one day to visit beautiful city of malaga, wasted 2 hours tried to reach the hotel and couldn't sleep at night!
Location, quiet room, great breakfast.
Very hard to find if you are driving.
In easy walking distance to harbor facilities. Some very good tapas restaurants in side streets .
Transport to rail or airport is awkward. Tourist restaurants are expensive and there are hardly any signs in English for directions .
Curtain fell down but was fixed immediately depute it being Saturday evening.
We were impressed with this hotel and the staff were very helpful. we asked for a kettle for the room and were immediately provided with it, cups, and sachets of tea and coffee. We would definately stay there if in Malaga again
The lighting was dim in the bed room making it difficult to read. As the weather was quite cool it would be an idea to have some extra bed clothes stored in the rooms.
Good breakfast, in the centre of Màlaga, friendly staff and nice rooms.
Friendly and helpful reception.
Decor was 'EasyJet' orange, horrible. Breakfast was fine but tables not cleared quickly enough.
The staff were amazing Good sized room and well appointed Amazing bathroom especially the shower Fantastic location for shopping, old Malaga and the port Good breakfast. Lots of choice
I had an internal room and it was very noisy in the sense of hearing waste water from other rooms. Wasn't just the normal sound of water, but rumbling thunder and sounded like it was pouring into the room Lack of information on facilities...like how to use the coffee machine etc. No real seating or relaxing area No on site bar although there are lots of bars around, as a solo traveller I guess I would have liked to have had the facility of an in house bar and maybe a way of getting dinner. This is just a personal comment.
Cleanliness and location
Bed a bit too firm
The view of Malaga Cathedral
Slippy bathroom floor
The decor & comfty beds. Great selection for breakfast. Friendly staff
It was quite hard to find & you can't drive to it. Parking is quite far away
Breakfast and general room standard
Lack of tea/coffee facilities in room. Bathroom door grating on floor
Very polite, English spaking staff Great Location Clean
Some rooms facing the patio are also facing one another. Not too much privacy.
Location was very good and next time would ask for a different room which would make the stay excetional
The WiFi connection, the friendliness of the staff, the quiet atmosphere, the size of the room, the breakfast, the location
Hotel is less than 10 min walk from the station & easy to find off the main shopping street.Room on the 5th floor was spacious light & airy with fab views over the rooftops of Malaga & beyond. Rainfall shower great & bottle of local wine in the room a lovely touch. Bars restaurants shopping & culture all only foot steps away. Staff are very friendly & will help with directions & suggestions of where to eat etc. Breakfast plentiful & served until 12 weekends.
A kettle in the room would be lovely as it would save having to pack one but it's the only negative.
Perfect location for Malaga right near shops and bars. Loved the building, and even though the room was fairly small it had an amazing view on the Cathedral - magic! Breakfast was not included in the hotel deal but seemed very good. The staff was very welcoming, polite professional. Even bicycles were on offer, which unfortunately we did not use. Will definitely go back!
