The location is in the heart of the city center, shopping; restaurants.. the front desk employees are very helpfull; especially Laura..very clean.
The breakfast is average for a 4 stars hotel.
Great to find a spacious family room for 4
Parking is not cheap
The rooms were modern and airy with an excellent bathroom and free WiFi. The location could not have been better with the cathedral on the doorstep and museums within a few minutes walk. There were a huge number of excellent bars and restraunts within a minute of leaving the hotel. A perfect city hotel.
The in-room safe is activated by a personal credit card whihc sounds very secure except it means you have to keep a credit card out of the safe at all times. Also is you are sharing a room it means you can only access the safe if you have the credit card with you. This needs a re-think.
The Petit Palace Hotel is a lovely hotel in a great location with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The hotel is spotless and more than met all our expectations.
The only dislike we had was the hotel bar with outside seating was immediately below our room and could be quite noisy on weekend nights, but would not put me off staying in this hotel again.
Excellent location. Nice modern rooms, perfect breakfast. Friendly and helpfull staff. Wifi worked perfectly.
reception speed breakfast location
lack of any lounge poor bed condition
location is good
not so good facility especially the bed
All on your door step of the hotel. History, art and culture wonderful feel to Malaga and as a couple of women on our own felt very safe! Live Fashion how for two nights on the door step too! Fabulous
Stayed at to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Unhappy at first with our room but it was changed with no problem by a very lovely manager who also arranged a champagne (prosseco) breakfast.
Helpful staff Comfortable room Central location Cleanliness and facilities
Would have valued coffee/tea making facilities in the room
Brilliant location close to Cathedral, quiet but surrounded by narrow winding streets full of restaurants, tapas bars and shops with an easy walk through shopping mall to port. Staff were friendly and helpful and most spoke some English when my attempts to speak Spanish failed. By sheer luck we were there for the city's Patron Saint's day with parades, marching bands and flamenco dancing in the streets. We chose Malaga as a convenient entry point for travel to Granada, Cordoba and Seville and this worked perfectly but we loved our 3 days there and would love to go back. Note - Hotel arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport and the driver took us right to the hotel, even carrying our bags through the pedestrian mall to the door.
If we were ever to return I would request a room looking out onto the city rather than into the centre of the building.
Location, room with large bathroom, in pedestrian area close to shops and restaurants.
It is not to dislike, it is just to be aware of, the hotel is in a pedestrian area andwhen arriving by car you park in a public parking place, we were directed by the hotel to the tajon parking, then it is a 5 minute walk
The hotel is on an excellent location, ideally situated for everything we wanted to visit. The rooms are a good size and the shower is great. The staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good.
The lighting in the corridors is poor and better lighting is needed in the rooms. Also , there is a lot of noise from outside until about midnight.
Very dark room on 4 the floor. Large and well furnished but reading almost impossible due to tiny windows and insufficient lighting.
Very conveniently located. Room to the courtyard was quiet.
Room was not ready at check-in. Very simple bed.
the staff were very helpful.
Unfortunately very noisy at night.
Location was absolutely perfect. The staff were extremely helpful. The city itself
The room was too small. I booked a quadruple room for 3 adults as the picture on Booking.com showed it as a large room. However the one we had was not like the one in the picture and much smaller. It was small for 3, I would not have liked for there to be 4 of us in the room. Thee wa not enought storage space - 9 hangers in a room for 4 people ? and the beds were too close together. Not what I thought I'd booked.
Location was excellent for being in the centre of the City. Rooms contained all you could require and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The bed was very hard and there was a lack of fruit at breakfast. The modern style of the hotel meant some aspects of modern design took preference over practicality.
Very good location
Very bad internet, poor breakfast , high price, only one young gile with classes she is help full , the other are no.
Very central, helpful staff. Attractive room.
My room overlooked a side street so very noisy at night. Lucky I had ear plugs!
Very central location
Parking is very expensive and a walk away from the hotel. Decor was dated and looked as though it was starting to get tatty. Wifi was very patchy and we had to stand in the corridor to get a connection. Our first room had a cockroach in the bathroom. We did get a new room and a complimentary bottle of malaga wine to make up for this....but it had freaked the kids out and they didn't like going into the bathroom afterwards.
Every thing is fine break fast is nice, lunation great
There is no car park belong to the hotel but hotel give discount for parking. Well all Malaga got no free car park
We accidently flooded a bathroom , we called down to ask if someone could come with a bucket , the receptionist herself came up & she moved us to a new room immediately . We needed to leave at 5am & there was a taxi waiting for us in reception spot on time . We had a family room & so there was a bunkbed - which was good , no pull out sofa or narrow z-beds.
The beds were really small. We did have a triple room, and the third bed was so noisy and small.
