Score from 855 reviews Wonderful
Perfect location for visiting museums and taking walks in the center. A beautiful park nearby and a train station within walking distance.
This is a big hotel and the atmosphere is a little impersonal, which is only to be expected.
Close to city centre. Close to Metro & Bus Fantastic Breakfasts Good Staff
Bed was too hard
Location, staff, very nice room with perfect isolation.
Prices for breakfast and bar are too high
Great location, in front of the park and near puerta de alcala. Staff is really nice.
The rooms are quite stylish, but i didnt like divisions, toilet and bathroom did not have much privacy.
Location to park
Room was a little hot
A person at reception (Jaime)
Bad smells at the air contitioning conducts in the room
The location - retiro park, beautiful and its close to the city centre as well liked the bar though the staff is very cold and unwelcoming
poor room design- opens into a bathroom! small room! but thats europe! and very unwelcoming staff
the staff who were there were actually ammazing!
we had to carry our luggage up and down because the hotel only had one staff in duty!
The position if you want visit the galleries is excellent. Also, the proximity to the beautiful park is fabulous - especially since bikes are provided. Alba on the desk, was terrific and gave great advice on where to dine.
Perfect location. Very nice staff. Excellent breakfast.
Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. Beautiful rooms with a balcony to Parque Retiro.
de room is realy to small ,the shower wasn't working correctly, when we used the shower ,the whole room was floding with water .,and also the door of the toilet into the room didn't closed wel ,so the whole room was "disign "above confort, the room was not confortable at all
The greeting and support I received from the staff, particularly Daniel was first class. The location meant that I could walk to all the key places of interest and being able to relax in the Park Retiro opposite the hotel was delightful. My room was clean and comfortable and enhanced by the provision of a laptop and code for WiFi. The bathroom complimentary products were useful as I had travelled with only a carry-on and had included no extras. Breakfast was buffet-style and the selection was varied and tasty. I would certainly choose to stay again when I return to Madrid.
The only small complaint was the lack of view from the bedroom and the fact that I was overlooked but no other dislikes at all.
Fantastic location, great facilities and dogs are welcome
Very good location, but still quiet.
Location, location, location! Very helpful and friendly staff; spacious and quiet room; excellent breakfast
Rental bikes should be checked more regularly
Rooms Breakfasts Location
Great location, very short distance to main museums (it is very easy to walk to the Prado for the early morning queue) and railway stations, beautiful view over the park, quick and attentive service, varied colorful breakfast, very comfortable bed, very efficient curtains, good soundproofing. Taxis always available, and main shopping areas also close by.
For older people, some shower areas could be risky. Some TV screens possibly too small for people with impaired eyesight, making it difficult to watch the news while lying in bed.
Very good breakfast with big variety for a reasonable cost. Room was nicely furnished but we had a room not facing the street which was boring, but maybe less noice? Room was quiet.
The staff was ok, not more. Glass door to the bathroom, why? 4 star hotel? Not really.
The hotel had a friendly staff and the location was superb: we were running in the Retiropark every morning. Splendid! The museums were close as well as The old center.
Not a cosy hotel. But practical: yes. Not enough bicycles! Madrid: wake up!! It's time for bycicling!!!! Not enough umbrellas and yes: it was raining Cats' and dogs in the evenings!!
The park views were beautiful
No bathrobe, road noise, no hot drinks in the room and thin walls
Overall is a nice hotel located in a very nice area of Madrid. Very nice Hi-Tech room with plenty of amedities. The bathroom is unique and very comfy.
Bad bed quality. Very expensive breakfast. Pictures do not much the room you are booking.
It was lovely to stay at the Petit Palace near the park just before our long flights home - really peaceful location, and close to the airport express bus !
Everything was very good - nothing not to like !
Quirky decor, great room. Good breakfast.
Staff polite but not very friendly. My daughters (early20s)thought it was a bit quiet but I found it peaceful!!!
the design of this hotel is very good, and the location is perfect.
