I liked all about the hotel, the food for breakfast was excellent with a good variety. The complementary wine was also appreciated but it would have been nice to have it with wine glasses !

I would have appreciated a waste basquet in the room as well has a container to recycle. one waste basquet in the bathroom is not enough and practicle. The staff is nice but just limit except for the woman who is at breakfast, she is realy nice and attentive to our needs.

Small room for 3 people. Shower is very uncomfortable, becouse all water from shower fall on the floor in bathroom. Haven't mirror in the room, only in the bathroom.

The first room smelt dank and stuffy. They gave us another though which was fine. We moved to a hotel with bigger rooms and better facility's. If you can afford another 20 euro's a night per room and buy breakfast extra there are much better hotels available.

We took a city break with our two teenage daughters. The hotel was perfectly located within easy walking distance of the Gran Via and Puerta del Sol so we were right in the heart of the many shops bars and restaurants the city has to offer. The metro was nearby allowing us to explore the wider city. The hotel was very clean and quiet to say we were so close to the centre and the blackout curtains ensured we all slept well!! Don't bother with breakfast at the hotel, there are loads of great cafes nearby serving delicious coffee and cheap continental breakfasts. There are some great restaurants around the puerta del sol and plaza mayor and much more reasonable then you would expect in the main tourist areas. If you would like to soak up the spanish atmosphere and enjoy tapas the Mercado de San Miguel is fantastic and you must also visit the Museo De Jamon where the four of us enjoyed a drink and plate of tapas for less than four euros.

The hotel is perfectly placed close to the centre but a little away from the main streets.

We got a small dark room on the ground level. The renovation of the room was terrible done and need to be re-done soon (painting falling off etc). We paid 122Eur for that and it was not worth it.

The rooms where very nice and very clean!

When I booked the hotel online through hotels.com I received an email saying the cost of the room would we were being charged was 105 Euros, after our stay I was actually charged 128,10 Euros. I was very upset with this as that is a significant difference in price. We would not of stayed there if we had know the room was 128 Euros. One of the main reasons we picked the hotel was because it was in our budget at 105 Euros. A $30 difference in price is too much.

A very nice hotel with an excellent breakfast, attentive staff.

The shower of a spa type cannot be used because of the half glass screen as it wets the whole bathroom - toilet and even sink - a door is needed. Also the bathroom door has no handle/lock, which makes it rather unconfortable - no privacy...

This is good enough hotel. Very good location. We've travelled with a child of 2 years. Everything was pretty enough.

Excellent location. Staff offered great advice. Great bar across the road. Close to shopping and train station. Bathroom was a great size. Room was very clean.

We were on the 4th floor. This was extremely hot. The roof was sloped in half of the room and quite uncomfortable to move around the right side of the bed. There was only 1 key, so it was impossible to leave the air conditioning on to cool the room

Es un hotel muy bien ubicado, con excelentes instalaciones. El personal resulto amable y muy bien predispuesto. Presenta un desayuno abundante y de muy buena calidad

The localization, the friendly staff, the confort and the price

The staff were pleasant and it was very nice to receive wine and chocolates in welcome. Good location, easy walking to museums etc. Plenty of places to eat, nearby. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, as was the bathroom; and it was light and airy.

Maintenance is an issue and needs to be addressed, for the hotel to live up to the image that it is trying to create in advertising. The pressure shower, a selling point for the hotel, worked poorly. The bed was very firm, too much so for me, but better than a saggy bed. The air conditioning was difficult to adjust and the switch was "loose" in the wall. The shower in the room next door was leaking, water flooding into our room whenever it was used and our carpet was constantly wet. Our room was developing a musty smell. We told the staff about the problem after the first night, but after 3 nights, when we left, it had not been rectified.
