The location was excellent for all tourist attractions and shopping. Breakfast was good with a choice of hot & cold selections, fruit, meat and cheeses. The breakfast room was very draughty and cold. We did ask for extra pillows which we did eventually get after asking twice. Staff were friendly and on the whole helpful Would have liked tea & coffee in the room

Clean, fairly basic rooms, close to Metro and to the lively Chueca area. Access was reassuringly secure. The high-tech shower was a bit of a challenge!

The best thing about this hotel was the location. Hate the room, it was small, dark and could not actually use the toilet as it was not enough space to seat down, they put me in a back room with window view to the lift.. I asked to change but the answer was no and I was using the toilet in the basement. Went to madrid for a quick break due to depression and the room just made it worse, I was so happy to be back home to a bright spacious room and a toilet I can use comfortably..

The stuff from the hotel was totally open to help in every moment and showing a good face of it. I had a room where didn´t work the heat pump and they offer to move to another hotel(clipper) or I could take a discount and a free breakfast and stay in my room, adding that they brought a pair of blankets. Quite pleased by the hotel stuff. Location just ideal for tourists, gay or straight. Bathrooms look tired, they need a little bit of a renovation. Design is nice but not really clever in distribution, as some of the rooms has tight spaces.

Staff helpful, breakfast buffet good value. Close to metro station. Central location. Very very noisy at night, noise not from hotel but from street. Had to buy ear plugs to be able to sleep. Family rooms at front of hotel directly above very busy street. Noise continues during whole night.

We liked the location as it was close to restaurants, metro and shopping. It was easy to access other parts of Madrid from this location. We found that on the first day the breakfast food that was to be hot was cold and there were empty trays where there should have been food. When we did point out to the only staff member there, she was too busy to deal with our concerns as she seemed only worried about marking on her list the guest as they arrived for breakfast. There was no staff assigned that we could see to clear off tables and refill the food bins. We took our concerns to the front desk and after a long discussion we were told that our hotel bill would reflect the fact the breakfast was less than satisfactory. We are not sure that this was in fact done as when I asked a check out time I was told that breakfast was part of the room charge. I would like to know if in fact we were refunded the 24 Euros for two breakfasts. To be fair breakfast was fixed the following day as there were more staff and the food bins were filled and hot and we were asked if we were satisfied.

It's all about the location - not more than 10 min walking to any of attractions in the center. There are plenty of bars and restaurants right outside the doorstep. Nice old-fashioned elevator, quite large bathrooms. Depressing lobby, "high-tech hotel" sign in the room looks more like an irony.

Brilliant location! İ dont understand the hi-tech. The computer in the room did not work the computer in the lobby did not work and it was almost impossible to log into your wifi system! Your hotel is actually very low tech! No signs for breakfast location Long wait someimes to get the front door opened - you need a hi-tech door opener!
