I absolutely love the location of this hotel, just around the corner of Gran Via and only a couple of minutes away from Chueca. You really feel like being in the centre of Madrid, opening the windows and being in the middle of everything! I love the old style elevator! Rooms are basic but ok. Breakfast basic as well, but the freshly squeezed orange juice was a real pleasant surprise!!
There is no real mirror in the bathroom, only a small shaving mirror.
The location is fantastic. So close to everything and the breakfast is really awsome.
2 out of the 3 nights we were at this hotel, we weren't able to sleep due to the lack of soundproffing of the place. It is so poorly noise insulated that you can hear when the guy next door walk on his floor or even the conversation one can have in the room next to yours.
Location, Amazing helpful, friendly young staff Cool old high ceiling rooms Bustling energy but quiet enough, just off Gran Via
Filthy upholstered red armchair in room (406),I covered it in towels, but never sat on it as it was just disgusting
The location is very good and the room was quite silent.
Not as good as it seems: it is a little bit wore out and the building is old. Expensive.
The staff was discreet but efficient and kind. The location is excellent, the bed very comfortable.
The area can seem a bit noisy, but Madrid is a very noisy city everywhere.
Very noisy due to the very close proximity of the Grand via. Noise of the traffic was too much for me. Also it is not a very attractive area to stay either. We had to check out after a first night. But staff were very friendly, understanding and helpful. And the breakfast was very good.
Great walk everyehere location. Watch prices they change with availability. Madrid is generally less expensive during the week
Room a little small but sufficient.
this hotel was in the heart of the city. You could walk everywhere and feel comfortable and safe. It was five minutes from Sol the train system that would take you anywhere. The staff was always there with directions and recommendations. Great Shopping Ladies
The room was small. However, we are not people that spend a lot of time in a room when so much is outside. It was clean and adequate.
I liked the location of this hotel and the customer service from the staffs. Even though it was a small room, I liked it a lot. I just needed the room for sleeping for the night, so it didn't need to be really big. The staffs were really nice. Everytime we asked questions, they answered really good and they were really friendly. They kept our lugguages whole day after we checked out. If I need to go to Madrid again, I will stay at this hotel.
Only thing that I think needs to be improved for this hotel is the bathroom. It was clean and everything was fine, but the shower booth was really small for me and the water didn't go down the drain well. Also, the bathroom door wasn't closed really well, so there was no private in the restroom. Someone could know everything from the sound. :( Other than this, everything was really good!
Location Staff all friendly
Beds poor, hard Pillows flat Noisy Breakfast average
The location of the parking. Its circa 1km away!
The location is almost perfect near Gran Via. The breakfast it is something like a 4* or 5* hotel, really good.
Staff were good Location excellent Nice property Breakfast was good
Tiny bit noise during the night Bathroom had been enlarged by taking some of the space from the bed area. Made the bed area a bit cramped.
Excellent location in a street just off Gran Via - you can walk to all the main attractions and there's a metro station 50m away. Nice modern hotel with a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety and both hot and cold items. I'd definitely stay here again.
The reception staff were very professional but a little cold.
Location All staff at petit was excellent and friendly they are ready to help you any time with lovely smile .
I don't recommend to pay for breakfast since they have nothings in the buffet , Need to change the furnitures . A/C need to clean
Very stylish decoration. Big mirrors in the room allow young pairs to enjoy their look together. Location is very close to the city center, it's just a walking distance. Only 2-3 metro stations to almost any sight or interesting place. Friendly staff which will not bother you unless it's required. Located almost in the Chueca city region, which is the city center of gay life. Many fun places to visit are nearby. Big mirror over the head of the bed, interesting for pairs, if you know what I mean ;)
Broken lamps at the head of the bed. Do not try to change their positions even a little bit, otherwise they will fall down. Partially broken shower - a half of the siphons are passing water over the shower's shell but not on the human's body. Partially broken shower cabin frame - at the bottom corner two panels are disconnected so some water falls down on the floor. Broken towels' rack - it's not fixed in the wall and may fall down on the head of somebody sitting on the toilet. Master switch at the head of the bed does not turn off all the lights - bathroom has its own one on the wall. Bad scent coming from the bathroom or from the air conditioning each night. Сreaky floor which disturbs at nigth. Wallpapers came out of the wall in some places. Fridge is held inside the locker so it heats a lot.
Location and staff was great
Need new softer beds. stayed in petite palace in Bilbao, the beds were better
Great location and price
Slight sewage smell in room
The room 306 was ok, but around the aircon on the ceiling, the paint was all flaking off.. the base of the shower was pourous damp and mouldy, the wall paper was also ripped, the finished product was terrible..even the wallpaper was peeling off next to the shower cubicle, the knobs in the shower were missing.. if you were 15 mins late for breakfast they wouldn't even let you have a glass of orange juice, the wifi worked when it wanted too.. the lift shaft doors were dusty & filthly like it hadn't been cleaned since the 19th century...great Location, but....
room beds location
shower cabinet size
Clean rooms Good wifi Quiet rooms
Breakfast wasn't great
The location is perfect because is on the corner of gran via and one of the little street if la Chueca and just a few steps of Plaza deal Sol. If you want you can't take the tourist bus just arround the corner. The price makes this little hotel perfect for visiting
There are 3 steps to enter the elevator wish if you are caring luggage makes it difficult.
nice hotel in the middle of Madrid everything is as expected very clean and well isolated from the busy streets so all good
Perfect location, nice room, loved the free wi-fi. Did not take breakfast this time.
Breakfast needs improvement
