This hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and pleasant. Convenient location right off the Plaza Mayor. This hotel is best suited for students and young people interested in enjoying Salamanca's night life. Although beyond the hotel management's control, the young people and students enjoying the late night partying in Salamanca carried on consistently until 5 in the morning- it is apparently common practice and "okay" to yell in the streets at all hours and the noise prevented us from getting any sleep at all.

Very central location, relatively decent vfm - free wi-fi Trying to find the hotel is interesting - good luck! The square is very noisy particuarly at weekends until very late at night. Triple room was actually a very tight double with little room to maneouvre. Not at all impressed by the visibility into the bathroom from the bedroom, total lack of toilet privacy as a consequence, not ideal when travelling as a family. They need proper bathroom doors or to properly cover the glass doors.

It is a lovely boutique hotel that is also affordable. The staff were also very helpful, but the best thing about this hotel is the location. Right on the Plaza Major (if youre lucky, you can get one that faces right on to the square. Would definitely recommend it.

Hotel staff could be more helpful regarding detailed directions to Parking Lot. T would be possible to drive to the hotel and drop off luggage before parking, but this does not happen. Glass door in bathroom!

The location was perfect, just few minutes to all the main attractions. The rooms and the rest of the hotel was not to big, so could be uncomfortable for long stays.

Excellent location. The room was ridiculously small as was the 'double' bed. Not a proper double room size, very cramped, no room for suitcases. Main room was not much bigger than the bathroom. Very disappointing and definitely not value for money.

The location was fantastic, right on one of the corners of the main plaza which is very beautiful. Additionally the plaza was the focul point of the city and this made it very easy to find my way around. The hotel being located near the very helpful tourist office was also a bonus. The only thing I, and my companion, did not like was the glass door to the bathroom. In particular the transparent part which enabled the person using the toilet and bath to be in complete view of anyone in the bedroom. We actually tried to put towels over the door. I would certainly change this as I am sure that even couples value some privacy.

The location of the hotel is good - right at the Plaza Mayor. Salamanca is such a small and beautiful city that almost any location within the historic quarter would be good. There were a few main things about the hotel that were very disappointing. First of all, the fact that the bathroom door is transparent and designed with a 3 inch open gap around it instead of a door frame significantly affected our comfort while there. When one person used the bathroom, it was possible from most areas of the room to see them on the toilet, and due to the open gap around the door, there was no sound barrier. If anyone used the bathroom during the night, the choice was whether to go in the dark or to turn on the light, waking up everyone else (who could then see and hear clearly the bathroom processes). According to the staff, every bathroom has the same type of door, so this would affect everyone who stays here, except those travelling alone. The second problem with the hotel was that they failed to provide the facilities I had paid for. My booking was for a 'double executive room with exercise bike'. It was the unusual addition of the exercise bike that made me book the room in the first place as I thought it would make our romantic break more fun. However, there was no exercise bike in the room. When I mentioned it to the person at reception, he said he would arrange for one to be brought to the room, but in our 4 night stay, this was never done. Instead of that, we had a folded bunk bed against one wall, a dark room with a view into some apartments, pigeons living outside our window, wallpaper in our shower (over the bath) and no iron. In all, it was not a good setting for our romantic break and I would definitely not stay here again as I feel the room was mis-sold.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. Right on top of the square and if you booked a superior room, the window looked out on to the square. Only had breakfast but it and the room was good and excellent value for money. We would stay there again. Not their fault, but located in a pedestrian precinct which meant that parking was a bit of a problem. However, there is a car park not too far away and if you don't have too much luggage it is easily 'doable'.

Excellent facilities, fantastic location and competitive price. Finding parking close by can be difficult and costly and the check-in process was slow and difficult with staff that didn't speak very good English.

The location and value for money were both excellent - in the heart of the old town overlooking the Plaza Mayor. Having booked a family room for 5, we were given a 3 and a 2 adjacent which was very good. Car parking was tight but a slight worry.

The hotel is in the centre of the city, right by and overlooking one of the finest squares in Spain. Although we had problems, the staff were very helpfull in any way they could be. A nice little hotel but not to northen European stanards This hotel is listed as being disability frendly - when we got there with my power chair we found a 3 inch step. We were told by the staff that they had not got a step we had to take them out to the frount doors and show them the step before they beleve us! I beleve they are now haveing a ramp made. There are three steps to the breakfast room, which has a purpose made metal ramp. The ramp is so steep that it is frightening going down and has a very sharp angle at the bottom, too sharp for my power chair to go up. There are no tea or coffe making facilities in the rooms and there is not a room service. In the disability room, the ironwork to help standing in the toilet was pulling out of the wall. The shower flooded the bathroom and happily ran into the main bedroom.

The location. After our first day of sight-seeing in Spain, it took us two hours to find the parking garage and hotel. We were hot and tired, and the people at the desk should be better prepared to give good directions to the parking garage. We speak Spanish well. It was a pain. By the time we got there, we were too tired to enjoy it. We booked two double or executive rooms. Our room was old and dingy. We would not stay there again
