The close amenities to everything, like shops, resturants, pool and the beach. I found that the room we stayed in the carpet was very and some of the bathroom tiles were broken and loss.

The location was good and very central. Staff were very aloof. Balcony doors could be easily opened from the outside so security was an issue. When I mentioned this at reception I was told quite sarcastically that our room was on the 3rd floor so no one could get in. Although facilities are good there is no way this hotel deserves 4 stars as the paintwork throughout the hotel is severely due an update. I booked a superior room and although adequate due to its decor and paintwork I would not like to think what a standard room looks like. I have stayed in 3 stars with nicer decor. Also we asked for late check out and were told it would cost €30. We never have to pay when we stay at the amaragua hotel

Hotel staff and service public areas, bars and food were all first class, couldnt be faulted. Would recommend to anyone. Thought indoor pool area and bedrooms were ready for an update and re-decoration and lacked tea/coffee making facilities in particular.

Love the 60s design - if you ever refurbish - don`t ever lose this "vibe"! Loved the indoor pool - however we were with our grandaughter, and there is nowhere to sit while children swim. Suggest you introduce a seating area. Our room had a toilet that was not fixed properly, and there was a bad smell.

Location Refused to honor booking putting us in dire room little better than hostel quality until sorted out by Booking.com though this took 2 nights only there for 4 so spoilt break. We had to pay upgrade and have to recover cost from Booking.com. Reception and restaurant staff should sue the charm school and go for customer service training. We speak some Spanish and that didn.t help either. Could not get into courtesy room for clothes change even after waiting an hour, had to use toilet or would have missed flight. When finally given room upgrade carpet filthy, bathroom smelly and a/c not working properly and access to room through grim corridor fifthy carpet again and damp crumbly walls, list could go on.

Location was very good. Nightly entertainment was enjoyable. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very poor, same every day no omlets or pancakes. Very salty fatty bacon. Very poor selection of breads. The hotel reception was beautiful but the bedrooms did not follow through. They were basic and tired looking. The beds were not too comfortable and the bed clothes especially the bed covers left a lot to be desired, poor quality rags you could say about them The garden is very uneven and very hard to find comfortable place to sunbathe. As well people held sun lounges with towels in the prime locations from 7am and sometimes didnt take up position until the afternoons or evenings. It was difficult then to get a comfortable space. That was in spite of the fact that holding sun lounges was forbidden. More heed should be paid to that misuse.

The location is excellent right on the promenade, a five minute walk to carihuela which has lots of shops, bars and restaurants. A ten minute walk to the marina and about 15 minute walk into torremolinos.

An ideal location - handy for the beach/restaurants/bars and shops. Good facilities in the grounds for sunbathing, bar and restaurant lovely. Lack of hospitality by reception staff when checking in/out. Did not explain anything about the hotel or its facilities, was not welcoming i.e. enjoy your stay, likewise when leaving we were not asked if we had enjoyed our stay, nor did they say, "Hope to see you again." Beds in Room 209 extremely uncomfortable.

A nice, calm, clean, and lovely place just next to the beach with a great sea view. Savory kitchen and friendly staff. Worth the money we spent there. Internet is only accessible at lobby, not in the rooms.

Everything was very nice, clean room with sea view, food was very good, staff friendly. The fact that is not pet friendly. I have a small yorky ( 2kg.), and I asked if I can bring him with me, next time. I offered to pay a tax. Not possible. I have to search for another hotel. The 2 computers in the lobby were out of service all the time, no internet.
