Expensive(had a room with 6 bunk beds in it to myself) and got bitten by bed bugs

Lovely and clean, was so much more than I expected for the price we paid! Got free wifi and breakfast was really good with a selection of juice, cereal and toast/crossiants and tea and coffee. Showers and toilets were really clean didn't have to que for the four nights I was there and it was fully booked during this time too. Staff were really polite and a perfect location just off La Rambla

Staff could have spoken a little more english but thye still were really good, great place!

I arrived late at night and the back street location was very unsafe as a single female traveller with luggage. I was followed but if part of a group you should be ok. Other than that the location was close to la rambla and tourist locations

The location is great — next to La Rambla with all the bars and restaurants, really close to the beach. Plus the rooms are very cheap to stay for 1-2 nights. The kitchen provides all the cutlery and dishes. Wi-fi is fast.

The hostel is on one of the upper floors, so it might be quite difficult to lift a heavy baggage. Also the rooms are not cosy at all. They are poorly furnished with a very old closet and uncomfortable chair (fortunately, a bed is soft). We stayed in February and it was really cold inside. Moreover, the soundproofing is very bad — it was difficult to sleep with all the doors slamming and people walking in a hall.

One pillow is a lovely little hostal 30m from the metro and 200m from the marina. The hostal its self is in a little side street and up on the 4th floor, look for the ally with the pub that sells gunnies, at the end on the left is the hostal. The hostal is cleaned every day around mid day and the breakfast is nice for the price, nicer then another hostal I stayed at in Barcelona for twice the price. The staff speak good English and are friendly and if I go back to Barcelona will go back to this hostal. Only negative I can see is if you struggle with stairs, you might struggle walking up to the 4th floor.

Great value for that money. Staff is friendly, location is perfect (1 minute walking from La Rambla), rooms are quite clean and not too small, breakfast is good.

The hotel is located on the 5th floor, windows aren't transparent so that you can see almost nothing.

Good location, but in this area a lot of loot.

1. administrators rude and not want to understand in your question. 2. the room is too small and dark, there is no good light. 3. everywhere go to the workers with a drilling and swear.4 dirt and only 1 shower and toilet. 5. when I returned to the hostel, on my bed had been slept, and my things were reversed - it is very unpleasant. And instead of having to apologize, I was told: "don't like " go, go". Then I was offered another room, but there is not even closed the door with a key. 6. Originally accommodation cost 38 Euro, but then it turned out - 48 Euro.

Location was good, they also have a small kitchen. The hostel is ok for someone who just needs a bed in Barcelona.

They don't have 24/7 reception, so on the first night I was sleeping somewhere else (even I had asked about late check in via email) and the rest of the nights I woke up every time there was someone on the door, trying to come in and ringing the door bell.

The staff at Pillow One were very friendly. Especially the women than worked the desk during the day. Very friendly and easy going. The location cannot be beat. Right off La Rambla. The neighborhood around the hostel is packed with tourist spots as well as a ton of genuine local culture. I loved it.

walking up all those stairs was a bit of a drag, and the facilities could do with an upgrade.

it's an old building and there's no lift no access to terrace due to reconstruction

great location for tourists. La Rambla is just two blocks away. windows overlook a small alley, so not too noisy. Metro station is just a few steps. hostel is near the port and beaches of Barseloneta

it's not very safety. when I was checking-in one guy lost his phone. he just left it on charge in common area and didn't find it at morning. I left shampoo in the bathroom and didn't see it any more. so, be careful with your staff

The staff was cool, and very friendly. The rooms are cleaned twice a week, but if you choose to travel with a small budget this is the best choice because of the central position (1 minute from the Rambla, 1 minute from the green line metro station, 1 minute from the harbour, 25 from the Olympic zone). You never choose a hostel if you are afraid of living in a dirty place...but I really like to meet people from all over the world, and this hostel was the right one (just people in the 20ies and early 30ies...). The internet connection was pretty good too.

The stairs are pretty difficult with heavy luggages!!! (no escaletor!!!) and the staff had problems with the POS system so I had to pay by chash instead by credit card...you'd better check this out when you make your reservation.

de bedden. het ontbijt was matig en de ruimte om te eten veel te krap (tafel met 6 krukjes). het ontbijt bestond uit casinobroodjes en voorverpakte cakejes.
