“Great location for walking access to the archeological museum, the Mesquita, the old Jewish quarter, and the ancient bridge. Staff friendly and helpful and food served was tasty and well prepared. Also the hotel was very quiet. No complaints. We would love to return.”

Bedbugs!!! Really nasty surprise when I woke up in the morning. Two of them on my body and at least one crawling on sheets! The porter seemed genuinely surprised when I told him and gave me my money back but still I was quite shaken by the experience.

Sorry location terrible as it was a nightmare to get to it as the street leading to it was barely wide enough to get a car down. Also parking not possible and therfore car park cost 15euro a night wich puts the price up to over 57euro per night. It is definately a good idea to get complete instructions as we drove around for over 1 hour and could not find it. We eventually got a taxi and my partner followed in the car.

A very nice hotel, the room was rather small but enough for one person. If you don't look for a luxury room, it's a good choise. The lokation is very good for me. not very close to Mescita and Alcasar to hear the crowds of people all the time, but about 7 minutes walking there. A very nice guy in the bar. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I can recommend it with my open heart.

Really nice place to stay, conveniently located in the heart of the city, but also a very quiet area at night so we had a very good sleep. Also good food if you want to have breakfast/lunch/dinner at the hotel. Maybe a bit of fruit and some yoghourt with breakfast, even though it was fairly good for 4 €

Great location, nice staff. Overall - very decent hotel, especially for the money. Very hard to find. No gps, no local people could give right directions. All the hotel needs is to install several signs, indicating the way to the hotel. Also in modern hotels internet access should be in each room.

Centrally located in the Puetra del Sol area, the hotel is a great way to get to all the attractions within a few minutes. The facilities were also very clean and modern. What you get in location, you sacrifice in street noise. The noise from the Puerta del Sol area goes on all night. Every night. Bring ear plugs or stay at a place a few streets away from the Puerta del Sol plaza if you can't sleep through a lot of noise. As much as I liked the hotel's facilities, the shower head in my bathroom was broken. And the breakfast was rather meager.

the hotel was located near the town/city centre. It is a rather quiet neighbourhood. The staff is kind and helpfull. there was no airconditioning in the room due to replacement of the airco-system. The staff was so kind to offer a ventilator.

The location isn't bad and the staff were pleasant. Everything was quite new. For what you get at this hote it's very expensive. It's a really basic room with beds that aren't so comfortable and a rubber sheet on the mattresses. The worst bit was the noise though. You could hear everything going on downstairs in the kitchen and the reception area very clearly till quite late at night. Every plate in the dishwasher, every comment by the staff. Through the window (which we had to keep open as the airconditioning remote wasn't working...) there was noise throughout the night of people, kitchen staff, motorbikes, delivery trollies, horses with bells on (from pretty early in the monrning) it was a disaster. There was no sleep to be had. Also because the window was open we got bitten all over during the night by some flying bugs. Also if you're driving keep in mind that you need to have a reservation regardless of what booking.com says. We drove a clio and found the roads very narrow to get down - we had to fold in the mirrors on both sides to get through some points. I wouldn't even try to get to the hotel in a bigger car. Also as lovely as the man on reception was he couldn't manage breakfast and reception which made checking out tedious. Also very few english channels on the telly (which was only a 34cm anyway)

The staff were very friendly and attentive when helping me organize my trip around Cordoba. They also were very quick to fix the television in my room when I told them it wasn´t working. In all, the staff were I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone looking for a quaint affordable place near the Mezquita :) I could hear the noise from the dining room a little bit, but not as much as other reviewers. My solution was just to turn on the tv :-/

Very clean, good location (in the old section but not the main part so quieter). The hotel restaurant/bar was not open at night, which was good as we could hear all the downstairs noise in our room. Room was very small and rather barren, tucked away at the back of the hotel. Would ask for an upstairs room next time.
