Location location- we were very pleased with our room that overlooked the beach, and the terrace bar is a great location to watch the world go by. Friendly staff who spoke English! We would highly recommend the gold beach hotel....

This is a gem of a hotel. The friendliness of the staff, the cleverly designed room, the fantastic hydrotherapy pool, stunning rooftop bar, and fantastic breakfast all contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We cannot wait to return.

The best there is in sitges

The location of the hotel on the seafront was excellent. The room was moderne and clean with a balcony and a view to the sea. Also the breakfeast buffet was very generous.

There was really nothing to complain about the facilities. It was a bit odd that payment was required at arrival before offering a possibility to see the room.

Platjador is most definitely the best choice to stay in Sitges. We came back to Platjador after 5 years from our first visit there and we we were welcomed back by the same superb very friendly and helpful staff (it actually seemed unreal that the lady at the reception could remember us, hopefully for good reasons ;) The location of the hotel is a top notch, the facilities exceed any expectations for a 3* hotel (this includes wide selection of British channels on TV), the cleanliness is kept on the highest possible level, the staff from the reception to housekeeping is genuinely helpful and friendly and then there's that "famous" Platjador breakfast which is worth to attend no matter how hang over you are from a night out before. If you are coming to Sitges and there's a availability in Platjador - look no further, it's worth every penny and it will exceed your expectations. Looking forward to coming back soon.

We have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Staff are very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Hotel spotlessly clean, with towels changed everyday. The highlight of our day was breakfast time. We have never known such a choice - with English bacon being a favourite. We have stayed in many hotels in Spain and this is , for us, the best. We would recommend to all. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What's not to like? Just the crying baby next door.

The relaxed atmosphere. The staff were amazing. The pool small, but all that you need for a refreshing plunge. The rooftop bar overlooking the beach had a real 'exclusive' feel. The buffet breakfast was top notch!

Some noise from the traffic below. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear the neighbours.

I thought the whole experience was a great one - it was so refreshing to stay in a hotel that was reasonably priced and had great facilities, with such friendly staff that would not do enough for you. - Would have no hesitate in returning to the hotel and would 100% recommend it to anyone else that was going to Sitges.

Great location on the promenade. Good value for money compared to other hotels in Sitges (we also stayed a night elsewhere). Free drink on arrival and free afternoon tea on the rooftop bar with views over the beach was a nice touch. Comfortable rooms, outdoor heated pool with nice deck area and free apples(!). Staff were friendly, would stay again.

What a great place. And offseason it was an incredibly cheap deal. The bed was enormous. The breakfast was to die for. Location couldn't be better. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Many of the ratings I'd rate better than excellent if I could!

Sometimes there was a bit of a sewer smell in the bathroom.

We liked everything about the hotel - friendly and helpfil reception; room just as we ordered (good decor,spotlessly clean & lovely balcony overlooking the sea). Breakfast plentiful & varied and well-provided restaurant where one could have evening meal,if desired. Comfortable roof-top bar with seating inside and out & free afternoon tea for residents. All in all, excellent> We would recmmend it.

One very SMALL criticism - the plates at breakfast were cold, which was not good for a cooked (hot) breakfast.....Coffee machine also did not hold the heat - so morning drinks were only warm. ( Maybe only me as I like everything piping hot !! )
