Location beach breakfast

Fortunately it was empty when we stayed and getting ready for the season. It is a delightful layout with helpful and friendly staff. I should imagine that when full it would be uncomfortable for us. The restaurant was not really operational but they offered to transport us to their sister hotel, which we did not take up, but did go to the local restaurant in walking distance that was well worth it.

Bar tender was rude, hotel desk was rude, service poor to none. one way street is terrible trying to get in and out of hotel. My party felt like staff was doing us a favor letting us stay there, so we moved to another facility down the street, MUCH BETTER SERVICE. would not recommend your hotel at all.

Staff had a real sense of service and made you feel welcome. The hotel design is lovely, superb and very large main pool and another smaller pool in the beach club, with pretty gardens and suntrap prom on the beach side. We will most definitely return here, or perhaps to the sister hotel in town, and are already recommending it to friends.

Only one failing, the happy hour cocktails were appalling. I suspect they came ready made in a bottle and there was little effort at presentation so my caipirinha looked like diluted juice in a wine glass with 2 short straws stuck in it. Happy hour cocktails should be the same as any other time but with a discount. We did not try the main list cocktails, which hopefully were better, as we went elsewhere after that bad experience.

This was our second time at this lovely hotel. The first time in May 2011 we stayed in an adequate, but nicely appointed room on an inner courtyard. When we returned in Sep 2012, having reserved through booking.com -- and getting the "best rate" -- when we checked in, they found us in their computer and gave us an upgrade. This time a "mini-suite" on the first floor, facing the ocean. We spent 3 glorious days there. Wonderful breakfast buffet; a decently-priced bar a la carte menu, to be enjoyed at the lovely expansive poolside. With direct access to the beach, one cannot beat this location. Free parking. Quiet residential area. For a flat rate of 22 Euros, the buffet evening meal was a good value. All the hotel staff, including the reception desk, were very gracious and helpful -- and they can speak and understand many languages!

the only negative is that this hotel is in a residential neighborbood (a very nice one), and really to far to walk to the city center where the bonafide Spanish restaurants and tapa bars are. It is a quick drive to the city center, but finding a place to park is nearly impossible, and if you are lucky enough to find one, then figuring out how to get out of there can be a struggle -- MANY one-way streets. So, if you want to go into town, take a taxi. We did not this time around, since we had just spent 11 in a rental car touring Portugal and Spain. We were happy to just chill out and relax in this most beautiful setting.

The smal store was a plus when not wanting to travel all the way into town for a beach chair or small little extras. Also, the ATM.

I didn't like my room. For what I paid I think the rooms should have been nicer! The beach had a few more rocks than the one closer to town. The staff was not the bit welcoming!

Perfect for family, very good facilities and hotel surroundings, great entertaintment staff and good food. Excelent location.

Staff was very friendly. Room was comfortable with a sizeable mini-bar for storing our own items.

The Beach Club had it's seasonal inauguration on the one Friday we were there, so it closed early. But this was a small matter as the other pool was fine too and there's always the beach. We inadvertantly closed the terrace door behind us and weere stuck out there as it locks. This should be changed. We had to call out to a passing guest to send someone from reception to unlock us!

Nice, well organized spacious complex with many rooms and a nice swimming pool with garden and sun beds (enough). Price is a bit high and rooms are not very big (we had junior suite) but location is nice and just on the beach and sea view. Als beds on the side of the beach are there. Restaurant had and enormous buffet for breakfast and dinner, not cheap but everything you'd like to eat.

Breakfast is tasteless. Overrated. Bathroom had bad smell.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.. Our room was great, the porch outside was nice, ability to lay out in front of the room was wonderful.. The staff at the desk was great as was the lady that ran the little shop at the hotel... my wife knows here name, but says she was wonderful and very helpful....The outside sitting area by the pool was great....food in that area was top notch also...

Although we liked most everything about the hotel, was not to impressed with the buffet meal... although it was decent, just took a little away from the atmosphere we thought.... nice dining for sure, but i guess a better selection of traditional Spanish cusine would have been better... but good none the less....

The hotel is long established in Rota,and has maintained its reputatation for being one of the best in this area,since it opened in the late 1960,S. I first stayed at this hotel in 1971,and over the years it has extended it`s facilities to include spa/relax area`S. It is beatifully designed mostly around a central swiming pool/garden area. Try not to get a room opposite the tennis court`s ( spoil`s your afternoon siesta ) The staff there are magnificent and always happy to help,whatever the situation. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

For me personally the swiming pool is too cold. ( not heated ) Other than that NOTHING.

The Hotel Staff was very friendly and all spoke good English. They were very Welcoming to us as US travelers. Very nice Hotel good location.

The beds were not comfortable unless you prefer very hard beds. The temperature of the rooms was very hot. The air conditioning did not work at this time of the year, all on a computer system that would not allow you to turn the air on. Fortunately it was close to the ocean and there was a great breeze blowing at night , so we slept with our windows and door open to the balcony. I would definitely stay there again but will take a fan with me.
