We felt like we were staying at a resort. The facility was wonderful and the staff were friendly. We only stayed one night but could easily stay a week next time. It is located on the beach and the hotel has 2 pools, restaurants, a gym and bar area. We didn't use the upstairs salt water pool but we did walk around, it even had lounge beds! It was a beautiful and spacious hotel and I would highly recommend this stay to anyone.

The best - service; 1)the employees are very kind and helpful to the clients; they give us such a "familiar" treatment that we have the impression we are in our home.2) Rooms are clean early in the morning.3)Breakfast is good and abundant.4) the amenities are very good. The worst - Unfortunately the weather was not good to enjoy the sandy beach in front. So,an inside pool would be very appreciated in rainy days like we have this Easter.Internet is not free, like it was mentioned in the site when I booked the hotel. Although I find normal to pay for the internet, it must be mentioned when we make the reservation.

* We loved the room - we stayed in a room with a small balcony and great sea view. * The hotel was very peaceful as we stayed there in November (though it may be busy/noisy in the summer months). * Huuuuge and comfortale bed. * Big bathroom - had a bathtube and a shower. * The prices in the Sherry Bar were surprisingly low for a 4-star hotel. * The hotel is far from the town centre (you need about 20 minutes to walk from the centre or you can take a taxi, which should cost less than 5 euro). * No Wifi in the rooms - you need to ask for a cable at the reception desk and connect your computer with it (it won't work with your mobile/tablet if you don't have a wifi adaptor).

Very fine hotel, friendly staff and wonderfull breakfast. Fine tennis courts, location next to beach and pine woods. Distance to Rota was too long to walk, distance to anywhere was too long and boring to drive. Rather isolated positiion.

Very calm but still some action / people / facilities. The beach is very nice and basically no other houses towards the west. Nice sand. Hotel is only 2 floors high and very well maintained. We did not see a possibility for wind surf rent

Great beach hotel with modern rooms and facilities, free parking, great staff. Have to drive (or rent a bicycle) to reach the nice center of Rota, with its tapas bars.

I love the location. Right on the beach! Rota beach is nice and not too crowded, which we like. Our room was very clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. I found this hotel to be child friendly. Breakfast was a typical Spanish breakfast (bread and coffee), but plenty of it! It is a very tranquil place to stay and the other people staying at the hotel were very pleasant. They also have a lovely buffet that we didn't visit, but it looks very nice. Our bed was extremely uncomfortable! Felt like sleeping on a board with a mattress pad over it. They had the typical two twin beds pushed together, but these particular beds were very difficult to keep together. This was concerning because we share with our 2 yr. Old son and we were worried he would fall through. The food was very expensive.

My parents and I were upgraded at no extra costs to 2 family suites while I booked 2 standard 2 bedroom rooms. This was an pleasant and unexpected surprise. The Location of the hotel is right on the beach next to a goegeous dunes natural park and the town center is very close too. Gorgeous Andalousian architecture style. Super friendly and committed staff. Breakfast options were quite exhaustive. The Beach Club provides a relaxing and trendy lounge experience with great beach views. Great place all in all, my parents were delighted. I would recommend this place, absolutely. The Fitness is too basic for me. There is one single Power Station which was broken. It was howevre, repaired upon my request within 2 days. The room was not airconditioned which is an additional challenge when the temp is ~ 30c. For those who just want aerobic the fitness is more than enough. Although Internet access is available in all rooms you will need a cable and a laptop. No wireless access in the rooms. Yet, available in all others communal areas: Lobby; beach club, Restaurants. I didnt experience the lack of WiFi as a major inconvenient.

Located on edge of town right in dunes next to lovely sandy beach. Variety of room locations - some near pool, some overlooking beach, some with personal terrace. Our room was only 20m from gate onto the beach which was fantastic. Breakfast very comprehensive - everything you could want as it caters for a very international clientele. Reminded us a bit of Club Med in the hotel style and food.

We were delighted with our room which had a sea view to the rear and appeared to be a suite with a seperate sitting area.we weren't sure if all rooms were like this or if we had been upgraded. The location on the beach was amazing and we loved being able to lie in bed and listen to the waves or relax on the terrace with a glass of wine watching the sea. The staff were fantastic all very cheery and helpful almost without exception. The pool facilities were very good downstairs in the central garden area and upstairs on the roof in the beach club although we prefer the sea which was clean and safe.Great breakfast buffet, Free parking and sunbeds on terrace over beach in september(2 euros in August) Location was great on the beach but It was a 40 minute walk into Rota old town and not many alternatives for eating out in the evening nearby . The food options at the hotel were a 25 euro a head buffet, a rather limited a la carte menu in a very nice but almost deserted restaurant or a bit of tapas in the bar that looked as it had been out all day) we thought more informal bistro style dining. With a wider menu choice would have enhanced what was on offer. Taxi into town only 4 euros though. To eat out which was ok

The hotel staff is one of the friendliest I have encountered in my travels, they never failed to say hello as they pass you. The breakfast is tasty and very complete, meeting every need necessary. Access to the beach is convinient. The hotel has a everything you would need if you want to get there, park the car, and not leave the property. The beach club, although an additional cost, is a little oasis and I highly recommend it. Although a large hotel, we never got the sensation that it had more guests then they could handle, at night the courtyards were peaceful and relaxing. They make a darn good Sangria!! A few more deck chairs for the pool area would be good. Guests quickly learn that there are not enough chairs and "reserve" them with their towels early in the morning. This is not very nice as they sit unused for a few hours, the hotel should control this a little more carefully. The food at the Sherry Bar was a little high priced for the quality, but at the Restaurant Gaivota I noticed a better value/money, on the higher side in price but the food was much better.

Seemed like a nice place... I was in town for a conference at Rota nas and was unable to find lodging on post, so I ended up staying off post at several different hotels over the course of the week that I was there. Sadly, because of long days at the conference I didn't have much time to enjoy the resort... What I did see looked good, though the rooms could use some updating...

The layout of the hotel in village style with attractive gardens. The pool facilities and easy access to the long sandy beach. Waiter/waitress service all day and evening to tables around the main pool. Friendly, pleasant staff eager to be of help. Whilst there are no complaints about the food, the a la Carte restaurant is only available July, August, September.
