I liked the general location

I wished they had more television channels

Extremely clean and private. Location is excellent for beach, Yumbo and supermarket. Staff also helpful.

Well equiped apartments overlooking spacious pool area, close to beach

Thin walls - could constantly noises from adjacent apartments.

Conveniently located 50 yards from the beach, calm, pleasantly designed round a fair-sized pool. Nice shady porch and upstairs terrace. Kitchen well-furnished and equiped. The free wifi worked better than we were expecting.

The duplex accommodation ("bungalows") has mediocre sound insulation, so we could hear the neighbours walking up the stairs or coughing. Not an issue if said neighbours are the off-season crowd but might be a problem when boistrous children are around. Also distinct shortage of wall-sockets for computers, etc.

Virtually everything was perfect. If any problems arose during the stay, they were dealt with promptly and efficiently by the staff, who were always polite and very friendly.

There was virtually nothing to dislike. We had a wonderful week there and will certainly consider returning in future. The only improvement might be the strengthening of the wifi signal, so that the service can be used anywhere in the bungalows.

Lourdes at the reception is very nice and friendly, always available to help and answer all my questions regarding turistic spots, shopping centres and recommendations for places to go. The location of Playamar Bungalows is perfect, less than one block away from the beach, which made it perfect for me as I just wanted to go to the beach and relax everyday. In addition to that, the installations are quite nice, the rooms are really (!) cleaned everyday and are very comfortable.

Is the third time we stayed there, location is amazing close to shops, beach.The staff is also outstanding.All issues were sort out immediately. This place is really good value for your money....Will definitly come back

Plenty of room (how can a bungalow be on 2 floors?), balcony off bedroom for breakfast; pool and surrounding area cleaned daily with all loungers - very comfortable - wiped down by 9 o'clock; toaster, microwave, plenty of pans and crockery for self-caterers; free tv and wi-fi. Good shower. Small, but private, raised porch area. Staff produced extra sheeting and pillows on request. Clean towels for shower which were not threadbare.

Sofa-bed in lounge a bit short for a 5'11" guy with solid ends (sofa, not me); no kettle; no easy chair apart from sofa; TV only one English channel; wi-fi connection unreliable; only shower not bath; noise from neighbours clumping up and down stairs on adjacent wall next door. No on-site bar for socialising. No 24 hour reception and staff with little English. My Spanish sorely tested. Bulky key fobs, with key for the electrical circuits, when you go out from which you could not detach the keys you only needed.

Very cosy place and excellent location. Everything we needed was available. Two thumbs up!!!

Our holiday was too short :)

Everything. It was in a great location, reasonably secluded, yet within walking distance of all amenities. The bungalows were well maintained and comfortable. I felt very secure staying there. I also liked the fact that the receptionist didn't speak much English. Makes one try to speak the language. There were plenty of sun loungers for use.

The leaves in the swimming pool were never removed.

We had to vacate our room by midday and our flight was not until early evening. I appreciate that it is not always possible to purchase a later checkout and although they have a shower room, they could not offer any towels :-(

Location and standard of accommodation

Playamar bungalows are beautifully kept. Service 5 times a week. Really quiet around the pool. Loads of sunbeds so no rushing to get up to get one. Very close to beach , supermarket and yumbo centre. Receptionist could't have been more helpful. Could't fault anything.

The one thing is which has nothing at all to do with playamar apartments is, when we asked a taxi to drop us there he had't a clue where it was so just make sure you have the address on you.

Perfect location 1 minute from the beach and an easy 5 minutes walk from yumbo and other attractions while being in a lovely quiet area. Air conditioning in rooms is top notch and with 42 degree temp made for a great stay

Despite e mailing arrival time they weren't ready for me when I got there. They totally save the situation by giving me somewhere to get changed and having my bad delivered to my bungalow ready for me getting back.

The place is just perfect: near the beach and 10 min to Yumbo.

Nice and quiet apartment complex. Close to beach and city center.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen has all the everyday little things that may need to rest (including coffee and hand juicer.) The hotel green grass and palm trees, very quiet, clean swimming pool and sun loungers are. Location: the beach is a 10-15 minute walk, there is a cafe on the beach and not far from the hotel within 5 minutes walk to the shopping center La Sandia.

Towels are changed every two days, because We often went to the ocean, the towels were wet.
