Hotel Apartamentos Lux Mar  

Perfect location, 7 minute walk to center, 2 minutes to the quietest beach in town - figurettes, the street is dead end so almost no traffic - very quiet. Yes ste walls are paper thin, but its spain, the whole country seems to be built in the 70ies. We only had 1 night when neighbors were noisy, but we were too tired to care. The visitors are mostly italians, french ang germans, so no drunk brits at all, just couple of lovely british girls. Basically almost everyone was super nice, even the italians. Luxmar, tropical and panoramic are actually just three different buildings in one complex, so though we booked lux mar we got the room in tropical. Maybe it is a newer building than lux mar, but we did not see any of the horrors depicted by bad reviews.the room was in near perfect condition, aircon worked well, the room was kept very clean. We were lucky to get the room with partial sea view for no extra cost, so we used balcony a lot (beware it does not open from outside so dont lock yourself outside :) ) the room had all possible appliances, dishes, etc. even had a bath, not shower. The staff was very helpful, the cleaning ladies are around all day, so you can ask for sheets or toilet paper when you wake up. The recepcionists were all friendly, specially the lady working daytime, ask for map with all the directions, she even highlighted best beaches for us with bus routes. The pool is with sea water, so just as salty, but very clean and water isnt too warm. You could also always find a free chair by the pool, perhaps due to the fact that the sea is 2 minutes away. We did not try breakfast, but it smelled quite nice, and for 6 euro it's more than ok, if you're not ready to cook for some reason ;) overall, were definitely coming back next time.

Liked, that there was everything for cooking ourselves. Also, there is a place for our rental car nearby the hotel.

Enjoyed the location. Near to main resort and facilities. Convenient in all ways.

Very nice hotel. Very clean, we had full board and the food was good. Nice area to sunbathe around the pool, this was also very clean. Close to local shops. Car and scooter hire available from hotel. Internet at a reasonable price.

Pool was very cold. Beds were hard. Drinks from the vending machines by the pool were very expensive.

Spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate; the apartments are basic, beds very comfortable and though old have been refurbished well. The room description sells them short - you get a hair dryer and an iron. Real mixture of ages and nationalities off season. Not 20s walk from old town and port. Excellent budget choice.

It is convenient, this is my second visit to Lux Mar, I was there last October 2011. The apartment was somewhat tired, curtains in both rooms off the hooks, therefore would not pull to and fro easily thus letting in the light. The buffet lunch was only mediocre and did not include even water!!!!! Breakfast was satisfactory. I would not recommend the hotel.

The hotel is perfect and the sea view is wonderful. There is a close path to harbor through hights at the back of hotel, but not easy to find

However the location is just so so. Though there is a bus stop nearly, no bus has ever come. If you want to use public transport you have to walk at least 20 minutes.

Hotel was excellent value for money. Ideally located near to Ibiza town and with a seaview over Figueretas Beach, it's perfect for seeing the town or spending a lazy day soaking up the sun. Apartment was basic but clean and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the pool and sea. Breakfast was incredible value for six euros and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Could be a bit noisy at night, due to neighbours coming in late. This is Ibiza however - the party isle. What do you expect?!

All the staff were very friendly . The standard of cleanliness was excellent . We were on the third floor and the appartment was adequately comfortable , but the seaview from the balcony was breathtaking !!! The airconditioning was a big plus . The location was perfect for the resort of Figueritas , and it was only a ten to fifteen minute walk to Ibiza Town . Great value for money .

I felt a safe in the room would have given me more peace of mind . It was necessary to hire a safety deposit box in the corridor . An electric kettle in the kitchen would have been preferable to having to boil water in a conventional metal kettle !

Friendly staff, good pool, nice guests

the door to the balcony was not working properly. Internet did not work in the room. The kitchen was not fully facilitated, fx. there was an oven and a microwave, but no cutting sheet and no scissors.

I liked the pool a lot and the beaches around the location.
