We have stayed at the Plaza for 9 years at this time of the year. The hotel is well situated re -local transport, to access the impressive mountain/coastal areas of Tenerife. The buses are punctual and excellent value for money. The port is interesting, with visiting cruise liners and ferry boats. The hotel has changed ownership and has lost the personal touch of the previous regime eg. good selection of toileteries in the en-suite, buffet evening meal instead of waitress service and lack of sweets at the reception desk.

Good locayion in the middle of the city. The noise of the neighbour situated musicstage during the carnaval. We did not know that whewn booking the hotel. Infernal noise of bandmusic was both nights untill 02 and 03 at night. Our bed was shaking of the big noise. We think nobody could sleep at that hotel. Never go to tihs hotel during carnival!

This hotel is right at the spot- in the middle from everything. Near to harbor, shopping malls museums...but after two days you have seen all. It's very good for business, and the breakfast is good. If you want to go to the beach, it takes a 25min. ride by bus. If you like party, come for carneval - you are right in the middle of it! At weekends it gets rather noisy in night time. Not all rooms are big, most are rather small. I recommend: Come for a short visit then it is perfect!

Position, very near the docks and central. Nearly impossible to get to by car. Too many one way streets and no entry's, in the end we had to abandon the car and walk.

Parking/Driving - hotel is on main pedestrian street, you cannot even approach it by car. The whole inner Santa Cruz is a maze of one way streets, you best just park somewhere a find the hotel on foot.

Жили в отеле во время карнавала, место расположение отличное, все самое интересное происходит рядом с отелем. Питание брали HB, для трех звезд хорошее. WI-FI хороший, сейф бесплатный, депозит за ключ. Номер не новый, но все функционировало. Стеклопакеты не справляются с шумом на улице во время карнавала. Несколько ночей совсем не спали из-за дискотеки на площади под окнами отеля. Бируши не спасают. Ванная комната требует косметического ремонта.

Frühstücksbüffet sehr ausreichend und guter Qualität. Zimmer sehr sauber obwohl das Mobiliar in die Jahre gekommen ist. Superior-Zimmer(Nr.501) ist empfehlenswert, da "Es" ein Balkon mit guten Rundblick über Santa Cruz und Blick auf den Vorplatz und seitlichen Hafenblick hat. Die Angestellten an der Rezeption sehr nett und hilfsbereit,geben Tipps bei der Erkundung der Stadt.Sprechen Englisch und Spanisch und teilweise ein bisschen Deutsch.Zitat: Ein gutes Stadthotel in sehr zentraler Lage.
