The location is so close to Plaza España and the train station. There's a halal restaurant close to the hotel. The staff is so nice, the was waiting for us in front of the guest house because there was no sign of it.
Very small room.
Location, shower is amazing, balcony view.
No seat on the toilet. Cleaning the shared toilet daily does not make up for no toilet seat. No storage for luggage after check out. Cleaning staff entered the room in our absence even though the sign requesting cleaning was not on the door. Kitchen only available for 3 hours a day and not sure which 3 hours.
location good and carpark directly underneath
Not a hotel just a big apartment turned into loads of rooms very noisy neighbors broken shower and toilet and not even a kettle in the room but for the price was just about ok
The signage was hard to work out but once you navigate the lift everything falls into place. The manageress was very helpful and assisted me in printing off my online air ticket from a local store owner she knew. Very handy for shops and sights.
The room was very hot which meant the fan had to be left on most of the time, otherwise fine.
Manager was very helpful with local transport systems and tourist information.
Close to all amenities, comfortable and quite. Value for money.
No reception, U have to call the owner. If u wait until certain time, there is a service charge around €20. Actually is not my fault, I reached there before the time they charge for extra. My first time in Barcelona, problem for me to find a public phone. The key at the ground floor also not function. I have to wait for the people come in or out.
Very loud and noisy, unfriendly staff and interior was tirdy
Everything else.. specially when I compare it with other hostels/flats ...
Friendly staff, good location according undeground station Espanya and bus stops. A big shop center Arena de Barcelona is close to the hotel. Of course, it is very close to Magic fountains and National Art Museum of Catalonia with its park.
No information how to get to the guest house from the street. Traffic never stops even at night and it is very noisy because of the sreet even on the 6-th floor.
Location was great, near Plaza de Espana. Not a loud area, safe area. Staff was nice. Clean.
Although I emailed the manager about the time of our arrival (2 in the afternoon), no one was there to let us in (it's in a residential building). Had to borrow a kind stranger's cell phone for someone to show up. They only had a laptop that didn't accept my credit card (it's a VISA, they told us USA credit cards weren't accepted) had to run it at the manager's friend's shop down the street. Tiny room, but that's ok since most of the time wasn't spent in room, but the door knob was broken - if you closed the door, you'd be stuck in the room. We let the staff know and were told they'd fix it asap, but didn't for the 4 days we were there. Overall, it's an ok place to stay for the price, make sure to have manager's cell handy to get in. (she's the only one who speaks English, staff doesn't, she's also never at the hostel)
place,reception,real hostel,especially for two,clean,not loud.
small room, but for tourists, who wanna see the city its not the first)
Difficult to find. If you go to the address given, it's a car park - but you are in the right place. After walking up and down the block three times looking for the right place we relented and phoned the phone number we were given - luckily I speak Spanish but anyone else may struggle. We were then told to wait where we were and they came to collect us and took us in to a private apartment building. The facilities were nice enough but basic - very small room, no natural daylight. No air con - we were provided with a fan but it was very rattly so hard to sleep with it on.
The room was very small and had nothing similar to the pictures shown in the webpage. The staff didn't know one word in English and we couldn't communicate. I did not feel safe at the apartment also. Not recommended at all, even for the price.
Great location near 2 subway station and 2 supermarket. WiFi worked perfectly. Room was clean and staff was good. Very good cost - benefit, would stay there again!!!
No air conditioning, only heat for winter and fan for summer. Hard to find...It is located inside of a residencial building.
It's clean and confortable, and the receptionist was very helpful (I don't know if she speaks English or not).
I felt that 40 euros is a little too high for a fairly small room with the bathroom in the corridor. At 30 euros it would have been excellent value.
Clean and a decent location near the metro. Newer bathroom was ok.
First of all you need to be made aware that there are no signs for this place- it is an apartment in a large apartment block. This was not made clear to me and so at 11.30pm at night I was left wandering the street alone looking for the guest house. Eventually, after asking a bouncer at the club next-door I was shown to the apartment block but could not figure out how to get in and had no idea which floor it was on. Alicia, the housekeeper finally found me looking lost on the street and took me inside. This needs to be made explicit when booking, had I known it would have saved me the stress and I would have given an EXACT arrival time to ensure she was there when I arrived. Checking out was another difficulty! I was told to check out by 12pm- I came to collect my bag and hand in my keys at 11.30am and no-one was there! I waited until 12pm and still no-one. I text the housekeeper, Alicia, but had no reply. Eventually I had to just leave my keys in the room and email with a photo to explain. If this is normal procedure then it needs to be made explicit. I would not stay here again, however, if things are made clearer and more explicit from the start then this would be fine and I would have had a more enjoyable stay, free from stress. The second place I stayed at was far better, 4 Rooms by the Arc de Triomf (found on Air BnB).
Alicia was very kind and helpful. Position close to placa esplanade, perfect for exhibition
You here noise from other guests coming back at every time in the night.
The location is very good! Although the stacf don't know very good English, they are very friendly and polite.
Finding the exact location. There is no sign of the place. Late check-in is somewhat difficult.
