This world-famous hotel has a beautiful location, surrounded by gardens and next to Formentor Bay. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one of which is heated in cooler weather.
Score from 101 reviews Very good
Returned yesterday after spending a week with my family at the Pollentia Club Resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. PCR is very child-friendly, and has good facilities. We found the journey to and from the airport convenient and it is also well located for Puerto Pollensa. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and are planning to go back next year.
This is not a criticism but rather a suggestion. Although the food was great, I would have liked to see more variety in the types of cuisine.
location, location, location! Room was comfortable, air conditioned and clean, food choice was good and plentyful, beds were reasonably comfortable, staff were helpful and polite
car parking is inadequate at peak times and the small space size make it difficult to manoeuver in and out. The noise from the road is quite loud in rooms/apartments near the road.
Good staff, clean and spacious bedrooms, lovely gardens.
Very busy in August, dining rooms too busy and long wait for drinks at the bar.
the food was really good, plenty of choices to pick from, if you wanted to eat healthy it was not a problem, good salad bar, plenty of fish every day. Facility was overall very clean, nice mantained sport areas, good and big pool despite the fact that it was a lot of people. You could always find an empty spot.
ok- here it is: we basically did not sleep thru a single night- the horror of mosquitos! they were 10 each night we smashed and more would come every night. This was a simple nighmare. You go on vacation to catch up on your sleep-but we were exhausted after a week of staying there. We actually were happy to be back home... The other thing was the cleaning maids, they were sometimes cleaning around 4:00pm, a bit late if you want to enjoy a clean room, also they would not refill the soap etc.
A lot of sports ! Great pools ! Exceptional service ! Our children loved it ! Very good food ! Would highly recommend the hotel !!
low lying, green, colourful resort. excellent food in an array of lovely restaurants. good sports facilities.
at least 1 further pool, preferably shallow/life guard and for younger kids. better organised, kinder and more interested staff for the kids club.
Staff, food, entertainment, pool
Being woken up most mornings as rooms are not very soundproof.
The grounds of Club Pollentia are exceptionally well maintained and it was lovely just to walk around looking at the plants and the views from the nature reserve at the back of the hotel. The pool area of which there are 2 at opposite ends of the site were perfect and there were plenty of loungers to choose from. The staff were very helpful and catered for any needs you may have. There was a hobby club at the hotel which ran exercise classes and many other activities but also gave great advice or booked excursions for you. There were bikes to hire, wind surfing and diving on site. There was also kids clubs which were well used if you had younger children. The food was of a very high standard and there was lots of choice, catering for a wide variety of tastes. The dining area particularly the outdoor dining area was lovely. There was also another dining room at the opposite end of the site which provided themed nights, also pool bar areas to eat which were great for lunch. The rooms were a good size and I particularly liked the way they were spaced out across the site so the resort never felt too busy even when it was. I would recommend the village rooms as they looked much bigger and were in a perfect location. It was quiet and there was never any noise from other rooms. The location is between Pollenca and Alcudia and there is a good bus service every 15 minutes. Buses stopped at 9pm but taxis were inexpensive. I was half. board giving breakfast and evening meal but would advise all inclusive as you can soon spend a fortune on drinks, ice lollies etc. Most people were all inclusive. This place is great for families with children and I would definitely visit again.
The rooms could do with a bit of a redecorate. No kettle in the rooms and you needed to pay to hire one. This is also the case using the room safe.
Staff work very hard long hours, always smiling, bend over backwards to make you happy Hotel is rated four star and looks & feels like a four star hotel Food on site was amazing, tons of choice every day Breakfast choice is huge Pools are large and clean Rooms clean and comfortable Free Wifi everywhere Never ran out of sun beds despite being full Location of hotel is fantastic, 3 miles from Port Pollenca & Alcudia Based opposite the seafront, great views from front of hotel every day Genuinely blown away by our holiday, always suspicious of all-inclusive promises, but this hotel was amazing Entertainment very good, though some staff-run productions did tend to repeat, some external bands brough in very good, kids entertainment very very good Will definitely return
No real grumbles at all Wifi strong in public areas, weaker in rooms, would occasionally drop out, but it was free so not really moaning about such a small point Necessary air con tad noisy at night, again small point
We have been here 12 times now which speaks volumes. We love the surroundings, the greenery, ponds and wildlife. The food on the whole is good. Staff are great. Facilities for kids are great and if the kids are happy we are!!
Don't like going in peak season as it feels too crowded.
It's in a quiet location along the beach and close to Port de Pollensa and Alcudia. It's easy to get around from, with a car or bus. The resort is surrounded by lots of trees so it stays cool and comfortable even when it's super sunny. The staff are very helpful, friendly, and hardworking. The Animation team was wonderful, the kids loved the shows in the evenings.
The aircon in the room was terrible and the beds were hard and not so comfortable. It was hard to sleep well at night. We wanted an upgrade but everything was booked throughout our stay there. The beach in front is not nice, only conducive for Kitesurfers and other water sports. There's not much to do outside the immediate vicinity of the resort. The closest town is Port de Pollensa and 5 mins away with transportation.
This hotel is recomended for families, there are lots of activities.
Great for families with 14/15 yr olds. Food great, given the numbers catered for. Really enjoyed the entertainment options. Overall we had a good holiday and would go again with teenagers.
We got ear infections, as did some other guests who stayed. The main pool is huge but the water in it is quite cloudy. Generally quite noisy around the pool as there are a lot of people staying.
Nice location great service and excellent atmosphere. A little dirty but understandable given the summer season. Kids had a great time. Food was ok and enough selections for the kids.
It's good value and set up for families
Found it a bit too hectic at the pool , mealtimes and entertainment - I'm sure to be expected in school Holidays but not the relaxing break I hoped for
Swimming pool fantastic , great food , friendly staff , thoroughly enjoyed my stay :)
Booked the village room, disappointed as it didn't get any sun.
Great Customer Service Good food and drinks Lots of activities Very clean
Good breakfast. Pools good and bar by pool very good service
Pool not monitored, so all sun beds were 'reserved' by 9.30am! several were never actually used!
We have just stayed here for teh 3rd year in a row (mum, dad and boy 5years old and a girl 3 years old). All the staff are so friendly, the location is great and it is very clean. Food is varied and always good and we will be booking again for next summer ! Thankyou Pollentia club resort for making my life easier so I can book with you again and dont need to look elsewhere!!!
Nice clean resort with a good range of resort activites
WiFi poor No a la carte restaurant No available poolbeds after 10:00 - if participating in resport activities - you might have to wait untill 15:00 before you could get 1-3 available beds around the 2 pools! Resort activities of a non-professional quality - for some activities you had to wait 30 minutes because too many participants Price-level too high compared to 4-star rating
We liked everything about the resort, all areas were very clean and well kept, the staff were all very happy and friendly, the food was excellent, we liked how the villas and rooms were low level and amongst trees and that there was plenty of shaded areas if you wanted to escape the sunshine. We stayed in a Maris room and were very satisfied with it, there were plenty of towels and toiletries and the maids did an excellent job of cleaning the rooms each day.
there was nothing about this resort that we didn't like and would highly recommend it to our family and friends
Back the 16th from a 11 night stay.We had a fabulous time in club pollentia, the facilities were great, especially the tennis court and bike renttals which are available. You had to pay 2 euro per tennis racket per hour which I thought was a bit unnecessary as the resort isn't the cheapest place to stay. But overall it's worth it, the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Eva cleaned our apartment, a lovely woman, always smiling. We would definitely return, might try for a suite next time if the price was right.
Amazing green territory, very friendly and helpful staff, the meals are superb. A lot of entertainment opportunities, especially for children (most of people staying in the hotel are families with children).
We had a Maris room with a "sea view", but really we also saw a road and the cars were loud. It was uncomfortable.
The quality and wide choice of food at breakfast and dinner, two good pool areas with plenty of sunbeds, excellent staff, and ease of access to Puerto Pollensa with hire car or bus. Recommend parking at far end of Pine Walk and strolling back to centre, stopping for coffee at Illa Dor hotel.
Have been out of season before when mainly adults - this was first time in toddler season which made the dining rooms stressful at times. They are large enough to have adult only areas if management used a bit of imagination.
The all inclusive card and not a band , the selection of wine and drinks, clean pool etc
Got food poisoning on the last day , had a awfull journey back home , only place I had food was at the resort.
