Liked the location of the beach and restaurants. Felt like we were too young to be there and we are in our 50's. Definitely catering to the senior tour groups.

The staff especially the bar staff.Friendly and very efficient. Nothing was too much for them. The reception staff were also helpful and were excellent as your first point of call. Breakfast and lunch hot varied. Dinner in the evening was poor. The coffee and tea machines were terrible .Often the coffee tasted like chocolate.

The whole experience of booking with booking.com could not have been easier. The hotel was first class, staff were brilliant, prices were reasonable. We had a room on the 7th floor, great view with ample balcony The hotel was a little out from the town. TV was spanish !!! Only had news channels

This hotel was full of OAP's on SAGA all inclusive breaks. Although we are both 60 plus we are little more young at heart and were glad that we were only there for 2 nights. Good hotel and nice people but just not our scene. Not fair to criticise just because we were not expecting such a sedentary clientele.

Not a lot Equipment in rooms. Pillows very uncomfortable. Hairdryer ineffective No magnifying mirror and considering that most guests were with Saga should have been provided. Toiletries very basic.

We have stayed at Port Denia before so we knew what to expect. We were very pleased that our request for a room on the top (7th) floor had been passed on and we had a lovely room (715) There is really nothing we did not like about Hotel Port Denia but would really have appreciated a kettle being in the room rather than have to go downstairs for our first cup of tea/coffee of the day.

We have twice stayed at Port Denia for one night, en route to another destination. The hotel is modern, clean and the rooms are well equipped with all facilities. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of town and takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the centre. We would recommend it as a hotel for older guests but not specifically for young children, although there is a pool and play area. Most of the guests were older. Our only criticism is the food. Rather limited and on talking to other guests, gets a bit "samey" if you are staying there for 2 weeks. Although you can walk to the sea and harbour we wouldn't recommend it as a beach hotel.

The hotel staff are very friendl, helpful and accommodating. The restaurant provided excellent buffet style menus and plenty of choices. Overall a very good family hotel and excellent value for money. That's why we've been back twice to this hotel.

It is very cleanand reasonably priced. It has good facilities and an excellent position. It was very busy, which is of course very good for you but it did make thr dining room very noisy and diffiicult at mealtimes particularly at breakfat.

I thought the range of food offered was excellent for the price. The indoor pool made a huge difference to our 6 year old, as did the existence of swings outside. The Bread Pudding offered as a postre on our first night was truly outstanding - haven't had better anywhere. Breakfast was good apart from the porridge and scrambled egg - the orange juice was lovely! The attempt to cater for english tourists is well worth it - your spanish food, for which I personally have a preference is already good - well it would be, you're spanish. Some of the dishes offered were not correct. Please don't overdo the bacon - it goes nice an crispy on the bain marie anyway. It doesn't need to look cremated. I know spanish like it crispy, so do the health concious english, but a little less time under the grill will do wonders for a very hard working kitchen. The scrambled egg looked like it had been processed. It was very off putting and looked more like an egg flan. Listen hombres, there are no shortcuts to making scrambled egg. The porridge - at least I think that's what it was, was way way too thin. About 50% less milk/water is what's needed there. I'm a porridge fan and I know my porridge. Coffee from the machine is dire for mild coffee drinkers. I know that's difficult because alot of spanish like strong/bitter coffee.

I liked the good treat of the staff and the views from the room. The fountain of the swimming-pool making such a noise during all the night. There was also a kind of vibration from an engine. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN THE ROOM WINDOW IN SUMMER TIME BECAUSE OF THE FOUNTAIN, WHICH IS MUCH MORE HEALTHIER THAN THE AIR CONDITIONING. NO RECOMMENDATION IN SUMMER.
