We loved everything about Portocobo, the situation if you book a seaview room is spectacular and very romantic. The staff were incredibly friendly and were really helpful, even surprising us with champagne and chocolates to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. On Sunday lunchtimes they have a buffet lunch which has to be seen to be believed, lobster, king prawns, crab, all sorts of other hot and cold dishes, wine inclusive and all for 24 euros per person, wonderful, it had everything that we went to Galicia for, and more. In our opinion Portocobo should have 5 stars.

Es un hotel muy bonito, las vistas son increíbles si tu habitación es con vistas al mar, que fue mi caso. Esta muy cerca de la ciudad, en 10 minutos estás en A Coruña. El desayuno muy bueno y muy variado.

Hotel que nos ha dejado gratamente impresionados, pues conociendo otros establecimientos hoteleros, este se situa en un enclave fantastico con hermosas vista al mar y al fondo La Coruña y a penas diez minutos te separan de la ciudad. La paz y tranquilidad que se respiran son extraordinarios por todo ello recomiendo que si alguna vez vais a La Coruña sopesie el alojaros en este fantastico enclave que es el Hotel Portocobo

Su estupendo diseño mezclado con la pintoresca ubicación, sus nuevas instalaciones y la proximidad a cualquier punto de la ciudad, hacen de este hotel un acierto seguro. La guinda final la aporta la relación calidad- precio. Felicidades! La persona que nos realizó el check-in parecía de mal humor y enfadada. Lo que no nos hizo entrar con muy bien. La situación fue compensada con una dulce recepcionista que nos atendió en el resto de nuestra estancia!

El sistema de calefacción (bomba frio /calor) se oía un pitido agudo a veces y además no pienso que sea el sistema más sano que hay, quizá el más barato pero a mucha gente nos afecta este sistema de calefacción. El personal fue atento y nos dijeron que nos habrían cambiado de habitación si lo hubiéramos dicho (fueron dos noches)

Lo que mas nos ha gustado son las vistas desde la habitacion. El hotel esta decorado en tonos blancos, moderno y confortable. El personal de recepción y los camareros muy amables y simpáticos. Fuimos con media pensión. El desayuno es buffet y la cena es menú donde no hay opción de elegir platos(por lo menos cuando nosotros fuimos). No hay toallero certa del lavabo, ni escobilla para el wc. Al encender la calefacción , sonaba un ruido molesto, pero al apagarla cesó. Es un poco dificil llegar al hotel.

Hotel en un sitio alejado del bullicio de la gran ciudad y tranquilo con un paseo encantador al lado.Amplias y modernas habitaciones.Se llega enseguida a coruña en coche y muy cerquita se tienen bares y restaurantes. El sistema de climatizacion de las habitaciones es lo peor del hotel.El primer dia de estancia apenas pegamos ojo del ruido que tuvimos,arranca cada poco y parece un vendaval sin posibilidad de apagarlo ni regularlo sino es bajando los automaticos y aparte de eso hacia un ruido muy extraño y molesto.En recepcion nos dijeron que si persistia el ruido nos cambiaban de habitacion.Aunque optamos por bajar el automatico que controla el climatizador para poder dormir el segundo dia.

Prachtig designhotel met onneembaar zicht op À Corunha. Rustige ligging, ver weg van de hectische stad, en toch Dicht genoeg voor een bezoek van de meeste bezienswaard- Igheden in de omgeving: Ria's, Compostella...

Lo único bueno de este hotel es la hubicación y las vistas desde la habitación En primer lugar, hemos llegado al hotel y la calefacción no funcionaba, llamamos a recepción y nos cambiaron de habitación, y exactamente lo mismo, la calefacción no funcionaba. Imaginaros el frio que hacia.... Llamamos a recepción y la chica, pues.... No tenía ni idea ni sabía que hacer... Al final después de tanto esperar su llamada, que por cierto el teléfono tampoco funcionaba conseguimos hablar con ella, y sus palabras fueron " estuve hablando con el jefe del hotel y me dice uqe no sabe que pasa, que hay que esperar al dia siguiente", es decir el día que ya nos ibamos.. En finn... Sin palabras.al final nos dieron una manta, pero la sorpresa fué cuando nos ibamos al día siguiente se lo dijimos a otro chico que había en recepción, y nos dijo literalmente " es que la calefacción todavía no está encendida en el hotel", ¿ que pasa? ¿ que el jefe y la otra chica no lo sabían?. ¿ o nos tomaban el pelo?. En fin. Un desastre de hotel, lo único por lo que volveré es por la situación, por nada mas. Se me olvidaba, de la habitación de la almohada, hemos quitado tb unos cuanots pelos bien grandes.

Muy nuevo y moderno, bien decorado. Habitaciones y baño grandes, bonitos y muy limpios. Las habitaciones con vistas son todas acristaladas y dan a una playa con un castillo muy bonito, al fondo se ve la Coruña, estan muy bien las vistas. El dia que estuvimos habia una boda en el exterior de la planta baja justo debajo de las habitaciones con vistas, por lo que habia bastante ruido hasta altas horas de la madrugada. Deberian avisarlo cuando reservas la habitacion, las ventanas son buenas y aislan mucho pero se seguia oyendo bastante.
