Very nice boutique hotel with upscale design. Spotless room with beautiful design, murphy bed, nice washroom and shower. Very helpful and nice staff. Also, it is the best hotel bed I've ever had in my life: something like an Obusform bed and pillows. Beautiful restaurant on the ground floor, on a street full of tapas bars.

Hard location in old city if you are driving.

Great location, close to Plaza Mayor Helpful staff Decent sized room, clean and quiet

Breakfast price is a little steep- you can find a nice breakfast outside for about 5Euros PP Air Conditioning is not controlled in the room- you need to call the front desk to have it turned on

    Good bed

"Emergency" booking - I had to book last minute due to a late flight. Way too expensive for the very small room I had

location, bedroom, bar , helpful staff

Quite noisy on weekends until late but you expect that with being in centre of a great street for bars.

Staff are friendly and the location is very good.

There has a bar at the ground so a little bit noisy if you want to sleep early (before 10 p.m.) at night.

Location in the heart of la Latina Fantastic bar with great service, drinks and excellent tapas. Room clean and spacious with comfortable bed.

Wifi could be improved. Drainage of shower slow.

Lovely comfortable room, quiet air conditioning.

Room noisy from the restaurant below but it was a Saturday night, not a great problem.

The hotel was amazing. The staff were helpful and friendly. The cafè and restaurant were great for drinks and food.

The parking is at a nearby market and cost me 88 euro for three days

Beautiful hotel with a unique style. One of the most comfortable beds in a hotel I have slept in!

Double room was a bit on the small side.

The staff was very accommodating. My daughter left her cell phone after check out and the front desk held it for us. Steps away from Plaza Mayor. Area appeared to be very safe as grandmothers and mothers were walking their babies. Definitely a wonderful introduction to Madrid for us. Beds are super comfy and great shower also. Excellent location

Perhaps the noise level. Although it may be typical Madrid the doors are super thin and you can hear everything!

I had an awesome experience from start to finish. I arrived at 10am, so earlier than most places let you check in. Not only did they allow me to check in early, but they upgraded my room! The suites are a very respectable size and have a lovely bathroom to compliment them. The staff were very friendly although I had little to no interaction with them as I had nothing to worry about. The room was always cleaned and they didn't bother even knocking on the door if they heard us inside they would just wait until we left and clean when we were gone.

Honestly absolutely nothing. It's a very vibrant area so if you're opposed to a little life at night you may want to ask for a room away from the street. Other than that this place is for everyone!

Probably one of the best locations to explore Madrid from. Walking distance to major sites, and the hotel's street - Cava Baja - is a very joyful street with lots of tapas bars.

The location was great near the market (mecardo St Miguel), Playa Major and we had been upgraded to the junior suite which was lovely. Had a very nice glass of wine here but no breakfast or other meal. There was a fabulous tapas bar over the road called La Concha for cava and wonderful food - a very nice woman was behind the bar and in the kitchen and the restaurant next door Posada del Dragon had an outside terrace which was perfect.

Funky, interesting decor of rooms. Very accomodating staff. Restaurant and bar right there. Delicious breakfast. Hotel is in a busy restaurant area. Request a room with a balcony-much larger and has day light.

Our first room was very small, no window and strange decor-funky.
