Posada La Llosa de Viveda  

The friendly owner knew our ferry had been delayed by stormy weather, and came out to greet us as we arrived, showing us to a covered parking place for our motorcycle. He offered us an evening meal, despite the late time, and the menu had a good selection. Breakfast was good, and he gave us helpful advice on our route when we set off.

Nothing = all good!

Everything, The owner looked after me 24/7 even though his English was as bad as my Spanish. Nothing was too much trouble. Try the dinner menu, it's typically Spanish but very tasty.

My wife & I had a very pleasant one stop over, in early Sept. It is a very nice Guest house/Posada. It is a very well apointed house. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay. The food was excellent.We would certainly stay there again.

The only comment we would make would be about ventilation of the room. The evening weather was wet and humid and the room having been closed up, meant it was hot, as there was no through draught. The only only way we could ventilate the room was to leave the room door open. Fortunately we travel with a portable fan so was able to cool the room as well. A suggestion would to have ventilation grills in the door to let air through?

Close to ferry terminal at Santander in a country setting and close to historical village plus no extra for parking

The owner was extremely helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. He cared that we were going to enjoy our visit and see as much as possible. The evening meals were lovely and his choice of wines great. The hotel is very clean and tidy and the garden beautiful. The hotel is a good central point for visiting many areas such as Santillana del Mar, Picos de Europa, San Vincente and miles of coastline and beaches. The owner does not speak English but he makes every effort to understand his British guests and to be understood. We would definitely go again.

There was nothing that we were not very pleased with

I was met by the owner who was so friendly and really made me welcome. Although did not speak English showed me things to see in the area etc. Very good room, nice location in the countryside and near the sea, a lovely building. A small establishment with other friendly people The food was simple and adequate and beverages were also available wine etc. I will go there again. Easily accessible from the main routes. Has a car park and importantly an area to park my motor bike undercover.

There could have been perhaps a little better choice of food for an evening meal but as I have said it was very adequarte.

Lovely place to stay and 3km out from the busy tourist areas. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable, still cant get use to the one long pillow on a double bed. THe beds were very comfortable and there was no noise! Staff were very friendly and obiliging, free car parking also. The water heaters were turned off but we were provided an electric fan heater incase it got cold. A great place to stay.

It was in a lovely location. Easy to access the coastal region nearby so ideal for exploring Cantabrica. The host was very welcoming the food good, and the building old and interesting. Traditional is the best way to describe it, but comfortable and clean as well as being good value for money!

It was excellent on route to Santander ferry. The owner was very helpfull ,met us at door ,took us to our room. Had a meal in the evening ,resonable price wine,coffee etc. 18 euros. Old fashioned Spanish decor,but nice.Free internet all over hotel was a plus. Spanish breakfast also very good in the price of 52 euros . I will use again. Just 3 miles off a67 ,tom tom took me straight to it

Ontvangst was uitstekend ,netjes en schoon en zag erg mooi en geweldige uitleg over omgeving . Extra vroeg ontbijt verzorgd . Alleen maar goeds over eigenaars erg behulpzaam

Es todo encantador, el lugar, la tranquilidad, el trato del personal, la comida... estuve muy agusto, volveré.

La posada es un lugar muy agradable y acogedor. La habitación en la que estuvimos era amplia y muy funcional. Hacían la habitación todos los días. Mucha limpieza y atención muy cercana del dueño. El desayuno excelente.

Todo: Con el dueño con el cual estuve comentando muchas cosas , estando hospedado aquí no hace falta pasar por información y turismo ya que el dueño de la posada te organiza (muy bien) cualquier tipo de excursión dándote todo tipo de información de la zona . Solo puedo decir que cada vez que valla por esta zona me hospedare el “la llosa”

Радушный хозяин, домашняя атмосфера, хорошая кухня, отлично рекомендованные вина. Рядом есть следующие достопримечательности: пещера Альтамира, живописный городок Сантильяна дель Мар, курорт Комильяс, не очень далеко Сантандер и заповедник Пики Европы. Хозяин подсказывает что посмотреть. Хочется приехать ещё. Трудновато было найти, ориентир-заправка Repsol через дорогу церквушка.
