“ Posada La Solana is positioned on the edge of Santillana del Mar actually on the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage route. The rooms are of a good size and have great views across the valley. The bathroom was very modern with a very good shower. Breakfast was the typical high carb bread & cake with a cup of coffee you get in Spain, but was fine as there are many places to have a menu of the day in Santillana. ”

A real gem, people were very friendly& welcoming and the accommodation was above expectations. The rooms looked to be freshly well decorated and the walk-in shower was superb. The location is very close to an excellent choice of restaurants all offering good food at very reasonable prices. All of my friends had nothing but praise for the hotel, always a concern when you do a group booking. Nothing really, only very minor comment is that the breakfast was very basic but considering the price we paid this was fine.

The owner was so welcoming and accommodating waiting past 8:00 pm for us to arrive. Breakfast was superb and by far the best value for our money in a two week stay in Spain.

A beautiful traditional building, friendly family run business, located in the centre of the beautiful medieval small town of Santillana. Also allows parking in a nearly completely pedestrianised town. Free Wifi. Room was tastefully decorated and modern state of the art bathroom was great, even though it was small. Would definitely recommend.

Habitación cuádruple muy amplia en la que además de dos camas de 90 y una litera aún cabía una cuna, un escritorio y una butaca. Baños totalmente nuevos al igual que el resto de la habitación. Limpieza excelente. El único pero para mi es que las camas son de 1,80m.

Struttura molto ben tenuta, molto curata nei dettagli, ben pulita, proprietari molto cordiali, stanza molto bella con pietra a vista, ottima posizione rispetto al centro medievale del paese Nulla da eccepire, forse solo il wifi che nelle camere andava e veniva ma il proprietario si è subito dato da fare per darci una mano e stabilizzare il segnale e comunque nell'area colazione funzionava benissimo e si poteva andare li'. Insomma.. Fossero questi I problemi!! :-)
