Beautiful old hotel in the lovely town of Laguardia. Very friendly staff, good quality food and wine; all ingredients for a wonderful stay.
Location, history, friendly staff
The building , atmosphere , location , service , every thing .
Nothing as my room was spacious for a single occupancy .
beautiful old world charm. restaurant was excellent
air condition and other functions of room did not work the were no english speaking employees. communication was difficult
Excellent Breakfasts Location
Lack of an itemized bill Charging the equivalent price in Canadian dollars but in Euros Lack of proper lighting outside our room (we had to use our own flashlight at night) Having a music concert outside of our room whithout telling us, so access to our room was not possible during the concert Lack of basic English to deal with situations such as billing item listed above Lack of elevators
Laguardia was cosy but small, ont något was enough. Hotel was a nice charmy old buildning, lot of stairs and old furneture
It was like being in a 14th century town in the 21 century. Very friendly staff, especially the little old lady at the front desk. We were greeted with a small gift for my wife, and a gift upon checking out. Very good restaurant !!
A little hard to find at first ! I guess because I was expecting to drive up to a "hotel ", when it was located with in the confines of the little town which can only be accessed by foot. ( not a bad thing) My GPS brought us to the town and was searching for the hotel, but could not find it. We figured it out ..
Staff and owners friendliness. Food was excellent at restaurant and bar. Laguardia is a perfect base for exploring the La Rioja Region. Flamenco group Sunday night was a highlight.
Limited access to their wine cellars on days we were there (Sun/Mon).
Beautiful old building, lovely staff
No outside space.
Great restaurant/bar, flaminco musicians twice a week
Charming old worldliness of the hotel. Staff very helpful. Location great but very quiet for a good nights sleep.
No WiFi available.
Welcome as a guest sharing a beautiful, historic family hotel. Character and charm throughout. Great restaurant and breakfast
Lovely hotel in a beautiful village - a place to be remembered forever - highly recommend.
Parking a bit tricky but hotel staff sorted with no problems.
Location, the wine cellar, the family atmosphere
No wifi in pensione but not a big problem
Fantastic location in the walled city of La Guardia (parking facility is beneficial given the limited capacity within the walled perimeter). Staff very helpful (whilst language was a challenge) even provided a personal tour of the cellar which was brilliant. Beautiful premises with homely rooms and good bathroom facilities. Dinner in the dining room is recommended.
Beautiful walled town Free Wine tour below hotel Comfortable sitting areas Nice restaurant Character, character....
Javier was wonderful! Food was the best we had in Spain during our 16 day visit.
The only thing negative to say is that the tarp covering the rooftop terrace was quite noisy because of the wind.
Great position to explore a very interesting town.
Place is a little tired.
Centrally located, clean, neat and tidy. Staff are very friendly.
the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is a lovely well kept old building, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel.
very cold, restaurant not open would have been a fine hotel once but has ton to seed
Beautiful hotel, beautifully located in this charming walled town.
