Posada Santa Ana

We love this Posada. It is our third stay there. The rooms are tastefully decorated with lots of individual design. The restaurant is splendid with excellent food and great service. The hotel is in lovely countryside and is very peaceful. Will definately be back.

Only downside could be in summer as the rooms have no air-conditioning.

A lovely Posada full of character and charm. We had a room in the courtyard next to the garden and pool. The room was very well furnished although the bathroom was on the small side. The restaurant was excellent which is handy as there there is nowhere else withing walking distance to eat. We would definitely go back but probably not within the summer months as they had no air con in the room.

The hotel has lots of character. Staff were very friendly. Nice quiet location. Nice restaurant reasonably priced. Although not a problem, it was about a 30 minute walk along the main road if you wanted to walk in to Suances. Motorcycle friendly.

It is not a dislike, only a comment. It would have been nice to have tea / coffee making facilities in the room.

The room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfast was good and generous.

We were poorly welcomed when we arrived - the manager was brusque and uptight, however and thankfully the morning staff were alot more customer focussed. The evening meal was the poorest out of the 10 other places we stayed.

We arrived to find our 1st night booking not reserved, receptionist efforts to solve problem caused more problems, so eventually staying 1st night in temp room. We stayed 2 more nights in our reserved room then agreed to leave as a wedding on 4th night. However excellent restuarant, if you like rustic charm the posada is the place to stay. We forgave the hotel for the 1st night error because this hotel is a gem.

My family enjoyed our stay at this Hotel tremendously! The Restaurant is 1st Class.

He hotel was one of the cleanest I ever stayedat and the staff the friendliest iam thnking of returning for a longer stay the breakfast was excellent and my dog was made very welcome there was no charge for my dog

Habitaciones con mucha humedad aunque creo que es típico por allí.

exceso bolleria industrial en desayuno se anuncua como rural, pero en realidad es un hotel sin algunos servicios elementales (ascensor)

La ubicación de la posada es excelente si quieres estar a medio camino de la playa y de lugares de interés histórico

La habitación era pequeña para tres y el desayuno repetitivo y carente de gastronomía local

Goed engels sprekende eigenaar. Wat heel bijzonder is in deze streek. Goede keuken. Grote tuin en goed zwembad met een gezellig gezamenlijk buitenterras. Leuk voor families met kinderen en hond.

Kamer was erg klein. Geen ventilatie mogelijkheden zoals een raam open zetten. Geen eigen balkon c.q. terrasje. Buiten eten was niet mogelijk.

Amabildad, tranquilidad, estuvimos muy a gusto.

The hotel is in typical Cantabrian budling (Posadas) with wood stairs and floors. The rooms are not big but comfortable, nicely furnished and clean. There is a nice swimming pool where you can relax and swim. The restaurant is very good, may be a bit expensive in comparison with the Tavernas in the same area, execpt for the Menu del dia. The surroundings are quiet, parking is easy and free. Comillas Santillana and other villages and beaches are in 20-30 minutes driving distance. Overall our stay was nice and comfortable

The breakfast buffet, included in the room rate, is appropriate but could be more varied at least regarding the sweets. The only remark we have is not for the proprietary but for the cutomers: since the building has many parts mad of wood, people should understand that walking with shoes in a room with wooden floor can be very noisy for the people dowstairs, same is valid for the stairs. We had very noisy neighbours in the room above us till late in the night (1.15 am). We recommend to ask for a room at the last floor to avoid unpolite people behaviours. This is an issue against which the proprietary cannot do anything.

No nos dieron mando de la television y tampoco nos dieron la contraseña de acceso al hotel por la noche. Nos dijeron que el si estabamos hospedados en el hotel, podiamos desayunar, pero luego nos cobraron 6€/persona.

La habitación muy bonita, decorada con mucho gusto

Las habitaciones son un poco pequeñas y se escucha mucho el ruido de los pasillos e incluso de otras habitaciones

El personal ha estado muy atento; especial mención al comedor, donde cocina y los camareros nos han dejado encantadas.

Nos levantamos tarde y no nos avisaron que el servicio de limpieza de habitaciones se iba a las 14h. Normalmente, si eso ocurre, llaman desde recepción para avisar.

La decoración, el personal del comedor George y Cristóbal, que estaba en recepción, todos muy atentos. La terraza exterior aunque no se utiliza mucho y estaría bien para los desayunos. El sitio muy tranquilo, perfecto para desconectar pero necesitas el coche para todo.

La habitación nos resutó sin demasiadas comodidades y el baño también, sobretodo porque estabamos 5 noches y el armario era pequeñísimo y el cuarto de baño nos pareció demasiado sencillo. La ha bitación era abuardillada y por tanto teníamos una mini ventana; todo tenía su encanto y al final si estás de vacaciones, ya està bien.

El precio que te cobran por salir tarde ahora que casi todos los hoteles disponen de salida tardia a nosotras por 2 horas nos han cobrado casi 13 euros mas iva y desde las 12 llamando a la puerta las chicas de la limpieza que no es su trabajo sino el de recepcion.si lo recomiendo pero advertiria de la salida tardia y que no teniamos la reserva de booking

El enclave y la decoración

El baño tenía jacuzzi, esto no está mal del todo pero el problema es que no podías ducharte correctamente si poner todo el baño perdido de agua. Estuve alojado en el ático 2

Nos pareció un lugar acogedor y tranquilo, buena ubicación cerca de Suances y sus playas. Su personal es muy atento, en especial Cristóbal, que fue el que más tiempo estuvo en la trinchera. El desayuno bien, sencillo, poca variación, todo frio, embutidos, cruasanes, mermeladas, zumo i café con leche. Referente a la cocina, nosotros solamente cenamos, tienen menú por 15 e. y carta, las dos opciones son buenas. Seguramente volveríamos si nos garantizaran la reserva de las habitaciones más grandes, algunas son reducidas y camas matrimonio estrechas (para mayores). Pedir dos camas

Todo es mejorable, pero tampoco es necesario ser tan exigente, nos pareció correcta la relación calidad- precio.

Muy acogedora, amplia y bien situada. Tranquilidad y buen servicio.

Rural romántico con gusto

Muy bien ubicada, en un entorno tranquilo y bonito, junto a la ría. El comedor sensacional y encantador. No todo iba a ser malo.

Las habitaciones muy pequeñas, con ruidos y el olor de la cocina que entraba por todos sitios, hasta en la habitación. La calefacción funcinaba fatal y la habitación siempre helada. La dirección amablemente nos colocó un calefactor.

Hemos pasado una noche con nuestra hija de un año. La habitación amplia y confortable. El servicio del hotel muy correcto. Cenamos la noche anterior en el restaurante. La comida excelente.
