Getting away from the tourist area and spending a night here was excellent! Lovely views, dinner, hosts and cats.
Great personal touch of this small place, excellent food and perfect spot to explore the interior of Gran Canaria
The beds are small
the warm welcome, the atmosphere, the quietness, the views but limited by rain and fog at this time of the year
To be so far from the airport. Taxi rode the wrong way, going down through the capital, instead of immpediately going up! More than 2 hours, really too long. I had no information on the weather. It was dreadful. They duly and very gently found me a new stay more in the South for the last 6 days. I cannot but recommend this place and the beautiful room I had with terrace ONLY if hot weather...
Peaceful situation . Excellent food.
Charming place, beautiful view from the garden, comfortable room, very quiet!
Basic breakfast, beds 1m40, no window in the bathroom
Excellent place with a nice couple who serves us very good. Support with planning tracking routes and day trip. Nice food. Breakfast included and we also took the 3 meals dinner in the evening. Big room with a double bed and a nice down comforter
November is cool and tend to much fog and the room can be damp but it's done by turning on the radiator
This is a very tastefully restored property with lots of atmosphere. The food was lovely, healthy home cooking and very welcome after a long hike. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Location outside the village.
The room. Below the level of reception. No window and no view.
Charming house in an excellent location, very kind hosts, great breakfast, a fantastic place. Thanks a lot! Marta & Jeremie
Food. The building. Staff very pleasant.
Staff a little too laid back; reactive, but not proactive
Great food, very friendly staff, very restful stay
Great location for both a mountain and costal holiday. As we were travelling with our 2 dogs it was ideal as no other places seemed pet friendly. Nice rustic food in the restaurant at fair price. Wifi in our room. Friendly staff. Would recommend to others...
rural setting in the mountains, family setting, excellent service
entrance sign to small
Friendly staff, excellent food in the restaurant, family run.
Our room was cold when we arrived (mid February) and the heating did not come on until the evening.
Enjoyed the excellent wine and meal. Our room was the 'penthouse' accessed via steps onto the roof, with an amazing sunken wet room and the décor was very stylish. We very much enjoyed taking the dog out for a walk. Many thanks indeed to Alex ,a friend of the owners, for our lift to the south of the island. It helped enormously .
Note that the hotel is situated at 1000 meters in the hills, so take enough warm clothes if visiting in early February.
Fermins' cooking was excllent. Very happy to cook what you would like. Always ready to make a drink or serve a beer.
The information needed to say that the poshada was a few kms from Fontanales. Moya is like our counties and so we had difficulty in finding someone in the town to direct us. No heat in the bathrooms and no mirror in our bedroom.
Comfortable rooms; good beds; friendly reception; wifi works well in the common areas, sometimes in the rooms. The poshada is situated in the middle of nowhere, so it's more or less necessary to have your dinner at the poshada. As they only have limited choice (one or two dishes), it's good to mention in advance if you want a special meal (eg. vegetarian). They DO offer these things, but ask for it upfront.
Dinner is rather expensive for what you get. They do have a common room in the building, but it's a pity that you are not allowed to bring your own drinks and their prices are rather high (and as there is nothing much to do in the area at night, one HAS to spend some time in the common area...). Moreover, in winter time, the temperature in the common area is too low to be comfortable (the heating in the rooms is okay!).
