La atencion de recepcion es muy buena.
The hotel was very central with helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were beautiful and modern and our balcony was the finishing touch. Loved the rooftop terrace and reception sitting area, great place to chill and relax after a busy day of sightseeing.
It's well located. We had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and helpful ANC we like the Art Deco theme through the hotel.
Our room is too small. We don't know if other rooms are bigger.
The central location of the hotel.
Unable to open a window as opened into an internal courtyard (building site). Constant noise from airconditioni ng units which all appeared to feed into this internal part of the building. Renovation work
Liked everything about the room.
The entrance to the hotel was very bare.
Personnal were friendly and very helpful. Location is outstanding. Great place
Placed right in the center of Madrid, within walking distance of most places of interest. Had a balcony on our room directly on the Gran Vía, but thanks to the double window the noise didn't disturb us at all. The rooftop on the 9th floor is just awesome. Perfect views of everything from above, and there are chairs and tables to chill out with a drink or whatever. I would definitely go back to this hotel.
I don't have any complaints
The breakfast option downstairs in the TapaTapa The bed was very comfortable The decoration and the reception area is really nice
Style and location of hotel.
Towels should have been changed over the course of our weekend stay.
close to everything, much better to be rated like bread and breakfast. coffee and tea should be free since we are basically self service. good wifi
not like a regular hotel, but good terrace and dining room. clean, minimal sound
Staff, Rooms, location, roofterrace,..
they are currently renovating the hallway's. So they were a bit dusty, but that's just a bit unpractical, no real downside .
In the middle of the action on Montera - next to gran vie metro station. Great bathroom
No space in room for luggage No map provided by reception staff Unhelpful staff when questioned about sightseeing (esp as no map given)
1) the hotel entrance is just opposite the Gran Via metro - it's rather easy to find it, super location 2) the creative design of the room and hotel lobby; 3) the staff is friendly and is ready to help; 4) it's possible to leave your luggage in case you want to walk around the city before the departure; 5) all the city facilities are very close to the hotel
wi fi connection - every trial to connect to the network were failed
Location was perfect. Situated so close to Gran Via so easy access to everywhere by metro. Also very walkable to the main sites. The lobby/reception area was gorgeous and so comfortable. Great view from room 405. Roof terrace was great!
Room could do with a mini fridge but otherwise more than adequate
The décor and style was very nice and as pictured on the website. The cleaning staff kindly showed me the other rooms and the one on the corner was stunning. My room was still nice.
Was surprised to find construction work and uncontrollable dust everywhere, although inside of rooms fine. My bags were dirty as a result. Finding that I was right opposite where prostitutes sell their services basically outside the door was not ideal for a single girl to stay. Although the location was very central and accessible to major tourist attractions and shopping. Rooms opposite to me had one couple opening and banging vibrating doors all night with loud music and talking, Spanish people who I assume were drinking, settled about 3am. A very drunk man opposite my room, had trouble getting the key in the lock and swearing, he had a girl in his room, possibly from the street opening and shutting doors. So not much sleep due to the other guests. Building construction was from 12pm to 6 pm every day outside my bathroom window.
Proximity to subway and many sight-seeing attractions. Very comfortable beds. Large common area with coffee available.
Very small room. Air conditioning didn't work two of our nights, and we were unable to open a window because of street noise in a very busy pedestrian area.
location and furniture are very good
very dark room, with a window overlooking an inner light and very dirty so it was keep the window closed
Good location, nice view, Nice staff
Breakfast shuold be early 7:30 am is a little late. Lift.
The location is great to get to the main tourist attractions by foot or metro. Roof terrace has a great view and a lovely setup. Rooms were clean and stylish and reception area is very comfortable. Staff were very helpful
The decor was lovely and so was the location.
The hotel was under renovation when I visited. I had no knowledge of this before arrival. There was dust in the hallways and the entrance looked terrible. It would be nice to have been informed. The dust was a nuisance.
1) Location of the hotel was perfect, it was right across the gran via metro station (montera exit). We were 2 girls and went out every night at least until 4 o'clock and did not have any problems on our way back to the hotel 2) Staff was very helpful and they were extra nice. They also take initiative - We were upgraded to a larger room upon arrival without even asking. 3) Rooms were very large. They were nicely decorated in a simple way. Beds were very comfortable. They cleaned the room daily. 4) There is a lovely terrace on the 9th floor with a very nice view especially in the early morning and sunset. 5) There is a very nice restaurant (Tapa Tapa) right under the hotel. The food is delicious, drinks were good and prices are ok so you can stop by on your way to your room just to sit for half an hour and have a drink
1) Some of the rooms have windows that look into a dark space between 2 buildings so if you are a big fan of daylight maybe you should talk with the hotel before your arrival. But if you are going to use the hotel just for sleeping (like we did) you would not even notice that 2)The only other thing I can say is that room are not very well isolated so sometimes you can hear people on the corridor. But we did not have any problems with that.
The presentation of the rooms was simple, clean and functional lives the reception area where you could sit and relax in great lounges and the roof top was wonderful. Would stay again
This hotel is a great location, it is a great price and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
The hotel is under construction currently and it makes for a huge mess and lots of noise. Also, the elevator is not functioning properly.
