The Spanish riding school is close to the "Prestige" Jerez is interesting. There wasn’t anything “Prestige”. The somewhat tired first impression prevailed. Was the hotel closing down? We held on for 4 nights. It wasn’t easy! But we really enjoyed the days out and about in Jerez. Dinner in the hotel wasn’t available; the restaurant was closed in the evening’S. The snack bar was closed on Sunday evening; the swimming pool on Monday!! Room service couldn’t even provide a club sandwich which was on the menu, instead sent up a plate of yesterday’s bread, cheese and potato crisps. How can this hotel claim to be a 5 star? Jerez has many better hotels, choose somewhere else.

The front desk was most helpful. The location was a good walk to the city centre. There was always hot water. The room was very spacious, and clean. The Equestrian School is very close. The wifi was very inconsistent, and only accessable in common areas.

The price was unbelievable, and the room excellent. Surprised that the restaurant was closed except for breakfast and you had to phone to reception to have someone serve you at the pool bar on occasions. Maybe this was because we were coming towards the end of the season but not what you expect from a hotel with 5 stars.

We liked the location, the size of the room, pleasant gardens. The description of the hotel stated that all rooms have a balcony. They had Paris balconies which would have been a more accurate description . This was disappointing as we wanted a hotel with a balcony you could sit in. The tv was antiquated for a supposed 5 star hotel. Would not exactly describe our room as executive.

Suitably sized bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed the tranquility witthin the hotel complex. We did not enjoy the breakfast buffet. It did not live up to what we would expect of a 4 or % * service. It was very poor.

Bedroom was great with a large sitting area. Location was ideal, 10 min from main shopping area and 5 mins from the Royal School of Equestrian Art. Restaurant only has limited menu (same as pool side bar due to main restaurant kitchen being closed by management) and food was poor quality.

Lovely building, gardens and small but peaceful pool area. Spacious rooms with good air conditioning and nice big bathroom. Staff unobtrusive but attentive. This was the nearest hotel we could find to the center of Jerez that had a pool. The pool area was never crowded and towels and sunbeds always available on both our visits (May 2010 and June 2011) making it possible to choose either to walk into Jerez or stay by the pool if peace and quiet preferable! We also found the museums located just about next door interesting. The clock museum and the carriage museum are both good, particularly if you like horses - they are stabled in the carriage museum. This was our second visit so we were slightly more critical this time. If I had to choose one thing, it would be the lack of a bar where residents can gather. Any evening entertainment requires a walk in to town.

A wonderful tranquil place amidst the bustle of the city. Make sure that no one in adjoining rooms is staying there to have private guitar lessons as this can take place during siesta hours. Unfortunately the jacuzzi and sauna were out of order but as we were staying only one night this was a disappointment but not too much of a problem.

Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent hotel. Easy walk into the centre of the town where you can find many good restaurants and shops. Mainly Spanish speaking town, plenty to see and do without being too touristy. Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Lovely room, there was a wedding at the hotel venue whilst i was there but no noise in the rooms, the double glazing worked perfectly. Staff speak good English and are very helpful, ordering taxis etc for my group. Clean and elegant hotel. Would definitely stay again. Only negative that was shared by the whole of my group - no tea and coffee faciliies in the room, which was a suprise for a 5* hotel.

The location was ideal as the main purpose of the trip was to visit the amazing Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Equestre located within less than 5 minutes' walk. Staff and facilities at this hotel are first class although we were disappointed the restaurant is not open at night. Great breakfast buffet with excellent coffee too! Overall Great Value for money. Secure onsite parking at 12 € per day. Look forward to staying there again. As we arrived at the hotel very tired after a whole day's excursion and did not feel inclined to venture out again for dinner, we ordered room service. An excellent and generous Caesar salad and good bottle of wine arrived but the Spaghetti was smaller than what I would consider a child's portion. Felt the latter was an absolute rip-off for the price charged and told Management accordingly. We were apparently the first persons to complain about this which I cannot believe!

20 minutes after I checked into my room a man walked in with his suitcases and another key! The reception had given him my room. As I was half dressed and I am a woman on my own this was embarrasing and scary as the doors cannot be locked against another valid key from the inside. When I went to my car to fetch my remaining luggage I was then locked out of my room with my key being cancelled. When ordering room service at 20h00 I was told that most of the food was finished as they had a big group. The room service menu clearly states that I could not order before 20h00. When the food arrived it was more than terrible-it was off. When I complained they advised me to go out for dinner. After a long conversation they said that they would find me something. I declined and went to bed hungry. The beds where terribly hard, the rooms where so loud that I had to sleep with my ear plugs on. I didn't sleep well as I was worried that someone would walk into my room. I booked this 5 star hotel as I was travelling alone to a country I did not know. I wanted to be sure that I had a safe base where I could eat alone in the evenings if I wanted to. This is not a 5 star hotel! I had the worst experience ever in a hotel and I travel alot.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Spacious and well lit room with garden view. Nice bathroom. Low key and relaxing atmosphere. Nice walk to main part of town. Very good value for money. There seemed to be quite a bit of polyester in the bedding and it made for rather a sweaty sleep. Some days the room was cleaned far too late; just on siesta time.

Everything was perfect - wonderful hotel and wonderful location. Our only criticism was that neither the restaurant nor the bar were not available on the two nights we were there. We found it difficult to find a suitable restaurant for dinner, we assume it was early in the season and most restaurants were not open. Apart from comments above, everything else about hotel was absolutely first class.
