If you are elderly, or less mobile than you used to be, it is worth noting that the hotel is 0.75 miles to the the beach, and is on a fairly steep incline up past Parc L'Aiguera.
The WiFi is free, but intermittent and slow.
The staff are helpful and friendly, the meals offer a good range and try to cater for Spanish and tourist tastes. A good packed lunch is available in place of lunch if requested before 8.00 o'clock the evening before.
The hotel is situated next to a large park, and allows excellent walks to and from the town.
The hotel has daily housekeeping, and is very clean. The bathroom facilities are very good. There is a small selection of English channels available (ITV ITV2 ITV4, etc.)
Taxis from the town centre at night are around €5
The local train/tram station is about half a mile away, and goes right along the coast from Alicante (South) to Calpe and Dénia (North). A return to Alicante or Dénia is €6.40
