Set overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this modern hotel is on Playa de la Victoria Beach, 2 miles from central Cádiz. It has a large outdoor pool, a terrace with ocean views, and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 845 reviews Very good
Just 100 yards from Playa de la Victoria Beach, this modern designer hotel offers spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen satellite TV. The historic center of Cadiz is a 15 minute walk away.
Score from 453 reviews Good
A charming hotel that is ideally located in the heart of the historic old town of Cadiz, which enraptures the traveler with its warm mix of Andalucian, colonial and classical styles.
Score from 538 reviews Excellent
Senator Cádiz Spa Hotel is in Cádiz's historic quarter, close to shopping centers. The town's port, train and bus stations are within a 5 minute walk of the hotel.
Score from 876 reviews Good
A good choice at breakfast, except for the cereals, no proper cornflakes.
The evening menu has a weird choice of dishes, and quality is not good. Better to eat outside.
Very good quality hotel and friendly staff
Friendliness and helpfulness of the Reception Staff and own car parking with easy access.
the size of the room and the bed
having to pay for breakfast
they gave us a room in the recently renovated area. it was very spacious, good furniture, big bed and very comfortable. hotel staff also made us a nice surprise: while our car was in the parking, they cleaned the windshield for us - we considered it a very nice detail.
bathroom door doesn't offer much privacy, given it's made of glass and doesn't cover the entire space, but room is quite big so it wasn't such a big issue. location - it's not very close to the old part of the city, but you could always walk close to the beach and enjoy the sea view till you reach the cathedral.
Location was great, in between the "Casco Antiguo" (old city) and newer part of Cádiz, a few blocks from the "Puerta de la Tierra" and a block from the beach. Staff was attentive and great. They even surprisingly, free of charge, washed the windows of my car in the garage without asking (which was desperately needed after a killing so many bugs on the drive into Cádiz). The staff was great and the restaurant had a great menu as well.
No complaints at all!
Location by beach. Walking distance to everything. Large rooms. Big clean bathroom. Excellent service. Exceptional hosts.
Nice room Hugh bed great to walk everywhere. Lovely sandy beach. Helpful staff
Breakfast area was in the basement which could have had a view.
This was our 2nd visit to the Peurtatierra, which I suppose says it all. Its fantastic value. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. It has a fantastic position, perfect for the beach and in strolling distance of Cadiz's beautiful old city. The underground car park is a real bonus.
a bit of a busy main road at the front of the Hotel, but no problem, ask for a quiet room at the back!
This hotel is just outside the city walls - about a 20 minute walk into the old part of Cadiz & a very short walk to a lovely beach with good surf the day we were there.I would definitely recommend this hotel & would stay there again.
the hotel was certainly top quality every part was clean and tidy, very close to the beach and only 10 minutes away from the old quarter, the reception staff could not have been more helpful when we had a problemand they spoke perfect english
The location of the hotel was just great. It was a walking distance from the bach and the old town.
Breakfast was very poor.
This is a good quality hotel, although a little expensive. Very helpful staff.
The cost of using the underground carpark.
Room was excellent Very friendly staff
Did not cater for evening dining, more for evening snacks
Very friendly and helpful service! Taking really care of customers! Even with a certain charme despite the big size of the hotel! Our room was really big...could almost play "catch me if you can" with my lovely wife!
The view could be better! Also no seaview!
Very convenient location, excellent parking facilities (at a cost), helpful staff and some nice touches - eg a complimentary clean of my windscreen while the car was parked! And an unexpected plus - probably the first time I have seen a mini-bar menu with very reasonable prices, rather than the usual grossly inflated ones. Thank you!
About the only real criticism was that the wi-fi was s-o-o-o sl-o-o-o-w!
Good location. Easy to access by car. Fine breakfast
The hotel is very close to a great beach (2 minutes) and about 10 minutes to the old city by walking. Some tapas places nearby. Parking fee was reasonable. It is easy to find the hotel. We would stop there again.
Breakfast seemed expensive. So we went to a bar next door.
Position was excellent for beach/promenade and an ideal short walk or short bus ride to City centre. Staff in all areas of hotel were extremely friendly and very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a visit to Cadiz.
Although quite close to the beach, but surrounded by ugly buildings and no sea view
Best price and quality in town! Clean, proper, 4* hotel!
Bathrooms were large and spacious and for the most part clean, also had all the amenities one would need. Parking was easy and access to the old town as others have said was easy to get to.
What I didn't like, the rooms! Although I understand that the rooms are basic and understated for either the business traveller or a family to sleep and beach, I thought that the rooms were horrible and could do with updating and provide a little warmth. That is just me, it all depends on what you are looking for and what you want. We chose the hotel because of the location outside of the old town and easy access for parking. I guess we got what we paid for, but I didn't care to much for the hotel itself. We didn't eat there, so I cannot comment.
close to the old city-walking distance
too expensive - 120 Euro including breakfast & parking
Well located, able to access the old town via buses 1 and 7. Very efficient check in parking availability. Great beds, spacious room. A very comfortable hotel.
