The comfort of the room, it was really nice and new and it was conveniently located. VERY poor public transportation connections so had to use taxis all the time... taxis are cheap but if you use them 3 or 4 times a day you can spend up to 40 euros just in transportation. |

Friendly and helpful staff. 1. It was a bit strange to find an ashtray in our non-smoking room. 2. One time they called from the reception to tell us that the water from the shower in our room was leaking through the floor and dripping from the sealing to the room below. All they did about the matter was that the cleaning lady came in to mop the bathroom floor in our room with a wet (?) mop! How's that supposed to help? |

It is centrally located, not far from Aragon metro station. Not far from the old town, the neptuno beach or the new Palau de les Arts and L'hemisferic. Not the most amazing surroundings, but it is good base. |

The desk staff and all the other staff that we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Excellent cafeteria on the ground floor for simple breakfasts and light meals. We were at the hotel for the Fallas when the room rate is at its highest (understandably), and still felt that it was reasonable value. The reduced room rate available at other times would be excellent value for money. |

The first room we were assigned had a very bad smell coming from the pipes. I called the reception and asked to change. They said it was impossible. Then I went to the frontdesk and the staff could find an available room. After that the little friendliness they had showed at first completely desappeared. Besides staff being far from friendly and not that much professional (except by the room maid), breakfast is too expensive for what is offered and the hotel is unbearably noisy. |
