Everything! lovely pool, very helpful friendly staff, very clean, all meals had great selection/quality of foods - excellent overall. Good location for Puerto Rico bars/beach - steep walk back but approx only 3euro in taxi if required! Highly recommend!
Steep walk back from beach!
The views from apartment were stunning. The infinity pool overlooking Puerto Rico was definitely a bonus. The staff were very friendly & helpful & spoke numerous languages.
Actual complex looked tired & was in need of a general refurb, although in fairness this seemed to be an ongoing project. We were lucky enough to have booked a 1 bed apartment, but the studio rooms were less then adequate.Even in our refurbished apartment we experienced cockroaches. The food, although plentiful lacked taste as did the all inclusive drinks, unless you purchased branded spirits
Our room even though i had payed 4 a up grade it was worth it.. (not everyone's choice but would have loved TV in bedroom).. Very clean.. Even though u could tell they were updating complex, we were lucky not 2 have come across this (IE) noise etc....Views were amazing.. Very Happy.x
Poolbar was a bit poor but im sure its on their list 2 up grade as they go along... My Hubby would of liked 2 be closer 2 the front only cos its was so far up the hill but taxi r cheap & u would not get the amazing views other wise...Still think our rock Lanzarote is better.. But we did have a r fantastic time.x
Liked the Hotel layout something for everyone. Like the fact you where never hungry at the Hotel Liked the quiet spots to relax Liked the fact you had hot and cold beverages at all times. Liked Adult area.
Didn't like NO air condition in the room in the day and age it shouldn't be classed as an extra. Didn't like the fact you had to pay for Wi-Fi We didn't find the staff at the receptiondesk very helpful with 1 exception of an older lady with glasses was very helpful with us.
The location is great, although the hotel is set on a hill, don't be put off it is easily reached by local taxi to and from the town centre for less than 3 Euro. The hotel is large and guests are all nationalities so a great mixed culture experience can be had, it also offers many amenities. Appartment rooms are cleaned five days per week, and to a good standard, with bedding and towels changed regularly. Be aware that there are different satndard of rooms, and if you require upgrades to the newly refurbished rooms with Aircon you have to state this. The all inclusive food was very good, a good range and quality was provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner, although can be a bit repeated on second week. The local restaurants also provide some great dishes at very reasonable prices. The beaches are great, the hotel is set between two, and both were easily reached for a few Euro's by taxi, and for the adventurous they are a great walk, which is most enjoyable. A great family holiday with great hotel facilities and surounding sites.
The evening entertainment is rather amateurish and appears uncoordinated, Parrot shows, dancing, and reptile evenings, although entertaining, in this day and age perhaps this should be looked at for guests who wish to remain in the hotel and enjoy the onsite facilities and entertainment, this could be improved on. Accomodation could be advertised more specific in regards to standards available, only on arrival were we aware that we could request upgrades to refurb and aircon rooms, at a small cost, but you can e-mail ahead and make this request.
We we're very lucky to have been given a wonderful refurbished room with air conditioning which was very much needed
The entertainment and activities wasn't much to make us stay at the hotel and the food wasn't very nice so we found ourselves going out all the time to eat and find other entertainment. So was a waste of money going all inclusive so wouldn't recommend going all inclusive to anyone. Also found the staff quite rude.
Wide rooms, big windows, friendly stuff.
All inclusive great value for money very friendly.
Location..very hilly and paths very slippy
Clean, spacious room with enough storage. Sea view was a bonus, quiet, felt secluded on my balcony although my sister who had her own room on the other side of the hotel with her family felt her balcony was completely overlooked (and she was right) so I guess it depends which room you get. Food provision was excellent. Always the basics of pasta, sauce, pizza, chips, rice and curry, salad and veggie dishes plus desserts and fruit. On top of this however there are about 6-8 other dishes every night that varied - they also hold theme nights when they put extra stuff on. I was there for Greek night and Chinese night which included three extra dishes from these places. They also had soup and cook to order dishes available and there was always some kind of roasted meat, quite a few times this was pork. My sister loved it as she is a real carnivore and could have an entire plate of meat no problem. Breakfast was everything you can think of plus you could make yourself a packed lunch as well if you were going to be out. Lunch was available 1-3pm and was mostly toastie sandwiches, salads a few hot dishes and chips. Pool was lovely - three separate areas for the families plus an adults only place which I didn't go in, but looked lovely from the outside. As I'm an early bird I saw the pool being cleaned and pH tested every morning about 8am as I walked to breakfast. There was some kind of activity every day - I loved the pool volleyball which got quite competitive but in a good way. Rooms were cleaned and beds made up every day except Fridays and Tuesdays which was nice I've stayed places on the island where that wasn't true. I saw cleaners on site at all times of the day and night. Kids mini disco was great in the evening after tea, our kids loved it which was a surprise, probably due to the brilliant staff who made it fun with the same 12 songs available every night.
Smokers ignored the no smoking signs all the time and no staff did anything about it Pay TV only Pay Wifi only Breakfast didn't start till 8am No rose wine on tap Tiny cups and glasses so you needed to make 4 trips to get 1/2 a pint of drink. No real way to take drinks or food back to your room.
Everything about the hotel was good and would stay there again
All was ok
The food was amazing, but be careful! You can easily get fat! Staff is very friendly and helpful. In this hotel you it is guaranteed - you'll have fun as the evening offers are great. Every evening there is something difterent happening - dancing, signing shows, also guy with snakes that you can get a photo with. Localization is also amazing, near to shopping centre, with shops and lots of clubs pubs and bars where you can have fun up to 4-5 at the morning :) You should go to Riders - you will never forget your night! Yeah, so overall it's worth going there, definitely ! Me and my friends will be back there :)
There are two beaches nearby but getting to one of them can be hard for erderly people or people with walking problems as there is abut 700 stairs, although taxi is cheap- about 3 euros one way so it's not a big issue :) Depending on where you get the room, there are few lifts (10 I think) so it's easy to get lost, but you can get used to this very quickly. There are also refurbishment works in some rooms, so it can be a little noisy during the day.
Wi fi not free of charge
Rooms needed redecorating and modernizing.
Fabulous sunny weather all year round. Superb panoramic vistas of the atlantic and puerto rico's twinkling evening lights gave us lots of "WOW" factor. This is a very special place with magnificent sunsets over the ocean.
Absence of free transport to and from beach and commercial centre can add extra cost. Taxis were quick and not expensive but other apart- hotels had free transport because there is no bus service.
Value for money was hard to beat.
Having to leave!!!!!
