Great location, very clean, very relalxing hotel with good facilities I syaed here two years ago and it was perfect, food has gone downhill considerably since that time. Buffet food was always cold never hot although there was a good selection. To eat in the hotel is very expensive eg toasted ham and cheese €8.90!!!! and there was nothing great about it. Dinner was also too expnsive, drinks should be included and not extra |

infrastructure great, perfect to relax, great breakfast. A tip: if you go to puerto del Carmen you can have great food at Ristorante Casa Roja (exellent lobster). Things to watch in Lanzarote: Timanfaya park and Cueva de lo verde. We booked the car via the link with booking, we paid 160 euro for 13 nights! A car is really advisable to see the island. No shampoo, but with 6 euro you get a nice packet with all necessaire, even deo. Spa in not included, you can either pay about 20 euro to get in during one day, or a pass stay, which means you can get to the SPA whenever you want for 60 euro. We did the pass stay and we really enjoyed it. Normally I would expect that shampoo, Spa are things included, with no extra pay. However considering how cheap the hotel is compared to average 5 stars, just take into account to pay this extra amount. |

We felt v welcomed and were treated very well, staff were v polite. Breakfast was excellent, such a choice! The pools were amazing, pity it was not hot enough to spend the whole time by the pool. In our first room we found a dead cockroach so we asked to be moved to another room, not on the ground floor, we were told we could at an extra charge, although we were not charged in the end which was great. The fact that you need to pay for the spa, nothing is free. The dinner was not v exciting. |

Situated in a lovely spot on the edge of the coast and overlooking the sea, the Hesperia is a good option if you want peace and quiet but a short walk to a collection of good restaurants in the nearby Marina. It is our 7th visit to this hotel and certainly not our last! |

The hotel is in a great location, just 10 minutes walk from Puerto Calero and a 10 minute drive from Puerto del Carmen. There is access to a private beach which is great for swimming. The hotel was clean and to a very good standard. The use of the gym was free and there was free WiFi. The spa was quite expensive. |

Liked the location, very helpful staff, good breakfast (even a choice for vegans), room was excellent (superior room), huge bed, very silent and relaxing atmosphere Mini safe battery was leer and they didn't manage to change it during our stay, no hair conditioner in the room, only 3 cotton sticks for 2 for 5 days... , could be better if its 5 star hotel. |

The location, room ,view was excellent. Cleanliness of whole complex excellent. Breakfast very good. Pool towel facility excellent. Gym very good (but English Instructions would be handy). 1. Lack of basic information in the rooms, including the restaurant menu's and prices and details of local facilities and attractions. 2. The UK TV channels were limited and during our stay the BBC news channel was vision only with no sound. 3. The Spa prices were too expensive. I would have used the spa every day but could not justify E120 per day for both of us...there's not enough there to justify that cost. 4. The Gym should open much earlier. 7.00 am onwards. People like to train in the morning, before breakfast and then enjoy the rest of the day. 5. Coffee making facilities in the rooms would be appreciated. |

Splendid restaurant, Wonderfull seaside and garden views. Peacefull and nearby nature walks along clifs and hills. Fantacstic pools and Spa in well designed garden. Very friendly staff. Rooms are not 5*! In a 5* you are not asked to pay 8€ extra for fine shampoo and cream set.Out of season closure of Bars and other facilities should be mentioned on their Web. Not enough choise in mini bar. No English speaking CNN channel. Distance to nearest sand beach is too far.No Ironing in rooms. |

The hotel itself was fine and the staff were helpful too The interior of the hotel was far nicer tha the room in which we stayed in. The room for a 5* hotel just didn;t do it for me. They have other rooms which i'm sure are far more grand for many more euro's of course |

excellent staff overall v friendly and fab service. Exc breakfast incl free champagne !! Rapid access to taxi cabs. Small t.v. but enough channels to catch BBC worldwide, CNN etc and keep up with world news. large suite. Beds and furniture super comfortable. 4 swimming pools one large enough for a proper swim (unheated so v cold). . Two cockroaches and a giant flying beetle showed up at different times, no nests seen, may have come in through open patio doors, may be a generalised problem as a lot of the suites are empty and underused. hotel overcharged by about 200 euro for package. Manager ducked discussion of bill so spent most of last day trying to settle. Only one restaurant open (not 4 as promised)and only buffet available every night, no a la carte. Spa pool and sauna etc use cost 60 euro so not avail to general guests. Massages fully booked so none available.Hotel v spread out so suites are a long way from reception, however they are generally quieter for that remoteness. |

Very good hotel. Public areas are 5 star -------- but------- rooms are only 3 star. Rooms lack Iron, tea/ coffee making facilities. And rooms need a total refurbishment, in particular, loo / bathroom was out of the 1970s. At most , our room was 3 star. ( I stay in lots of 4 / 5 star rooms when on business each year-- so I know my facts!) The rooms -- see above. But other than this, it is a tip top establishment. The free wi - fi was great. |

The Spa Yes - only one restaurant open for dinner, atmosphere in restaurant not up to 5* standards, reception understaffed, little or no animation during our stay... .by global comparison, I would rate the hotel as an average 4*. Also interesting to receive your email as we completed a client questionnaire and left it with reception before we left!!!! Obviously your guest review systems are not connected either!! |

Breakfast ok, poolarea and surroundings, spa is nice, pool bar has a good menu, access to small beach and a nice foot path along the shoreline. Cleaning and service of room well below normal standard, no complimentary water in the room, too few personnel at receptiondesk, some of personnel not very serviceminded, room standard not 5 star, no heated swimmingpool= freezing cold, some prooducts at breakfast not up to standard I.E. juice from concentrate, and yes, the coffee is really horrible! In total the hotel is definetly a 4 star instead of 5, but still good value for the money! |

Fantastic location, excellent well-laid out accomodation. Buffet breakfast was pretty varied and good quality. Very nice landscaped, low rise hotel with good swimming pools. The service on certain days let the hotel down. The food from the snack bars was just OK and the restaurants are quite expensive for lunch and dinner. Also I believe they would benefit from making certain areas adults only as at times the calm and serenity of the ocean-view pool was spoilt by noisy children!! Not what you want from a 5* spa hotel! |

There was a good breakfast service. Some of the evening entertainment wasnt bad. Close to easliy walkable and good alternative for meals from the hotel . It seemed nice and quiet unsure how it would be in the summer. Plenty of places to sit and appears to be plenty of sunbeds. Nice design in the bedrooms bathroom sectioned off .Good quality sunbeds and good quality umbrellas. Appears to be well maintained. Car hire company was poor. Car turned up with 2 bald tyres the replacement was supposed to be in within 10 mins after 20 mins we didnt bother. You are stuck at the the hotel unless you have a car or be prepared to go by taxi everywhere. Ask the hotel to find you another car company. Evening meal seemed expensive but we didnt use so cannot comment. The lunch menu was poor value for money if sitting down and service was poor.We had 2 take away items good value. The Gym didnt open until 9.30am so no pre breakfast excercise possible. Very little english TV. Not quite a 5 star but close good value for the price we paid |

A good four star hotel, yet to justify the fifth star.;there are weaknesses on the catering front. the hotel is rather short of staff.;a friendly chat with the duty manager helped to rectify some of the deficiencies. However the management must understand that a five star hotel in Lanzarote should maintain the same standard as a five star hotel in Madrid or Barcelona. two meals had to be returned at the `pool area` food bar .the main course in the restaurant was very indifferent.although the starter selection was excellent |

Location is wonderful for a relaxing holiday. Staff is very nice. Walking distance to a lovely marina with several restaurants and some shops.Hotel public areas are very nicely designed and spacious. coffee at breakfast is horrible, and very little fresh vegetables. No coffee/tea - making facilities in even a superior room. furniture a bit shabby in the rooms. Almost no english programs on the television, but quite a lot of German programs. No year-round access into the sea at the hotel's beach, very difficult to get into the water. Spa is limited in its treatments, and over priced. It would be nice to have one outdoor heated pool (saltwater would be great) |

Friendly staff and great views and location on the sea. This hotel does not have internet in every room as claimed - I have stayed there twice for more than a week each time, moved rooms to try and find internet access, and had to move back when each room turned out to be as bad in this respect - and had no access to the internet from my room and very limited access anywhere else - they always give the same excuses but never ever gets fixed. The Hotel also has very limited restaurant and food service capabilities, but as is within a very pleasant walking distance to the Puerto Calero marina where you can find several restaurants. |
