Peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle although you are within a few minutes walking distance. Self catering with your own bungalow and patio area. Like home from home particularly for eating al fresco and summer evening bbq's. Staff always polite particularly the cleaners. We have stayed here in March for the last two years and met many regulars on our return. This hotel is brilliant for complete relaxation but again we only go in March. Evening entertainment at the site was limited but we were not staying during peak season. The entertainment revolved around the same acts week after week. Site shop was poor and did not stock very good range compared to local shops. It was also considerably dearer than local shops such as Spar. Frozen and chilled goods were not kept properly due to fridge freezers not running correctly at temperature.

Reception staff, maids, groundkeepers very pleasant and welcoming. Ideal for older holiday makers and families. Very well-maintained complex. Would not recommend breakfast buffet which was poor quality. Only thing to criticise in what was a pleasant stay.

We stayed at Hyde Park Lane end October for a week. 2 adults and 2 children. We found the the bungalows clean and well equipped, toaster, kettle, microwave etc. Grounds and gardens well maintained. The beds could do with being upgraded as they were a little uncomfortable, Pool area was nice with lots of sun loungers. Lovely playground for youngers kids and a kids mini club twice a day. Overall a nice place and perfect for a relaxing family holiday. Would go back again but not high season as there is no a/c

Hyde Park lane is without any doubt the best place we have ever stayed, the bungalow was very clean and was cleaned 3 to 4 times during the week. We had a pool view bungalow and it was just faboulous. Its so quiet and peaceful here and near all the facilities, its about a 5 min walk to the fantastic beach and then 10 to 15 mins walk to the town centre where you are spolit for choice with resturants, pubs and shopping. I cant recommend these highly enough and we will definatly be back. I will be recomending to anyone who is going to Puerto Del Carmen to stay in Hyde Park Lane. Best holiday ever

The Hyde Park Lane is in the perfect location, just between Puerto del Carmen and Matagorde, and away from the hustle and bustle of both areas. The apartment layout is simple but you've got everything you need. We went for half board and I have to say the food was fabulous.

The Resort is really clean, there is posibility to eat outside in the terrace, a nice swimming pool (really appreciated by children), walking distance from the beach, walking distance for shops, very quite, privacy. Free wi fi in the reception area was working well. We went there in a very hot period (40°c) and we were 4 people. In the sleeping room there was the fan and it was sufficient to have cool air, but for the other 2 persons sleeping in the dining room (without fan) it was really hot (altough there is the possibility to rent an additional fan). Moreover it was not possible to open the window to have fresh air because of the mosquitos.

Nice heated pool sheltered from the wind. Bungalows are in the park. Clean and well kept. Free wireless in the lobby. Relatively good food (breakfast and dinner). Free parking close to the bungalows. Excellent price/quality ratio. Plastic tablecloth (breakfast and dinner).

The staff are courteous and could not do enough for us. The room attendants in particular. The buffet was very nice but definitely geared towards northern europeans, we enjoyed it but perhaps not to all irish/ english tastes.

The hotel is perfect for a relaxing break. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is very well looked after if a bit jaded in places. Excellent for family's with young children. Good snack bar and restaurant on site with a supermarket for essentials. Wi-fi in reception as well as 2 computers for usage. This is my fourth time staying at the hyde park lane and all have been trouble free, which is what you want. I shall be back!

Location was great, appts were very clean and had all essential items provided. Only downside was beds were small and not very comfortable. Only one pillow per person and no more available on request. Very cold in evenings, no heaters available. Extra blankets were available at Reception. Staff friendly and helpful. Didn't try restaurant but relatives who were b & b said breakfast wasn't very good and they only ate at appts on 1st morning. It suited our needs for a cheap & cheerful holiday :-) You get what you pay for!!

Basic, but perfectly adequate well priced accomodation. Bungalows were clean with a frequent maid service. The location is just 5 minutes walk to the beach and midway between Matagorda & Puerto Del Carmen. So you have the option of being laid back or something a bit more in your face in pdc. Although I didn't eat at the complex I did check out the buffet at mealtimes. This didn't usually look very appetising particularly the breakfast.

Quiet location with friendly staff. Rooms are cleaned regularly and to a high standard. Two pools, one with a bar and snack facilties. The bungalows are set in nice surroundings and it makes you feel as if you have your own space. The complex is well maintained with a 24 hour reception. The staff are friendly. The complex is betweeen Puerto del Carmen and Playa de los Pocillos and is about a 30 minute walk from either place therefore it is quite quiet, but easy enough to get to the bars and restaurants. The bungalows are perfect for either self catering or not. We love to cook ourselves and the equipment is just right - microwave, hob, pots etc.

The bungalows are very nice, clean, roomy and the kitchenette is well equipped (microwave, toaster, cooker, dishes). There is no air condition, but the bedroom has a large ceiling fan. The location is very convenient if you use a car and there is plenty of parking space around the complex. The whole area struck us as very safe. The breakfast buffet is quite good, even if a little too British for "continental" tastes. The beds are very uncomfortable. There are two single beds in the bedroom, they are short (I'd guess 1.9m, but at least there is no plank at the bottom) and the mattresses are very uncomfortable. Only the bathroom window had a mosquito net, although they were very necessary on all the windows.
