Quo Puerta del Sol is a 4-star modern-design hotel, the exterior is a stately grey hundred-year-old building, totally renovated, next to the Puerta del Sol (Madrid's main square and reference point), with walking distance from the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia museums and deep in the heart of the banking district.

Also you will be within walking distance to major tourist attractions such as Plaza Major, Puerta del Sol, the Royal palace, Spanish Parliament, and for recreation and leisure you have the Austrias area and Gran Vía Street where you will find theatres, musical shows and cinemas, among others... There is also a wide range of bars, restaurants and shopping centers.

The décor may be modern, but the hospitality is impressively traditional and the staff completely professional.

One of the best hotel of Madrid. Its design, comfort and our careful service are some characteristics for a great stay in the capital.
Its location (close to the Puerta del Sol) is ideal to visit the most notable places of the capital.

Ruoka & juoma

Every day between 7:30 and 11:00 we serve a delicious breakfast buffet to start the day (warm and cold).

Monday to Saturday between 17:00 to 21:00 you can enjoy a sandwiches and a selection of cold cuts, cheeses, bread, fresh fruit, pastries and fruit juices. (Ask in reception the available periods of this service).

The rooms themselves are eminently comfortable. The interior is refreshingly contemporary, tasteful and refined, in rich blacks and reds with hardwood floors and stainless steel fittings.

The hotel has 62 rooms, 10 of which are of Superior category, most of them have a private terrace with magnificent views of Madrid and 1 Junior Suite. Non-smoking rooms are available and we also have rooms for disabled guests.

All our rooms are soundproof and fully equipped with a range of modern facilities, including a 20" flat screen TV, that includes a service of music, movies à la carte and a special connection to the internet. The well-equipped modern bathrooms include a wide set of products of welcome.

Our tour desk will provide you with all the information necessary to explore Madrid. We are very close to the Thyssen Museum, Museo del Prado, Centro Reina Sofía y Museo de Bellas Artes and only 3 minutes away from Puerta del Sol on foot.

Within 10 minutes you can walk to Plaza de Opera or the wonderful Plaza de Oriente and Palacio Real. The Sightseeing Bus, where a guide will explain you al about the city, stops a few meters away from the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and position of Hotel was great with Metro and
eating out all close by

Very small rooms and have to modify slats on aircon to ensure room was
comfortable

The room was modern, well-equipped, and the concierge services (in
suggesting restaurants and securing reservations) were invaluable. Also,
the location of the hotel is perfect -- in the middle of things, but
away from the noisy center of Puerta del Sol.

Do to family emergency we had to cut our stay short. Hotel staff very accommodating and understanding

air conditioning did not work well and room smaller than thought, also many sharp corners in room that stick out , like ends of bed, that are not friendly when one bumps into them

Excellent location, heart of the city downtown. Close to Metro, easy access to airport and Train station. Shops and resturants are close walking distance.
