WARNING: the location listed is not the actual location. In my booking it said that check-in was anytime from 12:30-20:00h, so my friends and I went to Barcelona expecting to walk to Tallers 18 and find our host. But that is not the address of this place, and the host is not at that address either, because it doesn't exist. On Tallers street you will find 14, 16, and then the number 13, which could be a scratched out 18 but I don't think it even had a door. So we called the number and our host was angry because she said she had sent me 3 emails and that I should have received them. Well, she did not communicate with me through booking, and her emails (2 emails, not 3) went to my junk folder, so in my opinion this is unprofessional or at the very least the incorrect way to do business through a booking site. She tried to make this my fault. In her defense, I did not read the fine print that asks to let Ramcat Barcelona know the time of your arrival, but it is not in the same place as the part which says you can check in between 12:30-20:00. ALSO, when we called her, she did not want to give us this address and meet us there at the Ramcat, but instead chose the Hard Rock Cafe. We thought it was very strange that she couldn't give us the address of the place where we had already paid a ten percent deposit to stay. We almost booked a hostel because it was so weird. It was a disastrous beginning but it worked out in the end, so if you do book this place, make sure to let them know your time of arrival and don't expect them to respond to you in booking.... check your junk folder.
OK, first of all this place is in a great location. The room is very nice, and it's nice to have a kitchen to get food while you're staying.
