    The friendly staff.

The pool area and lack of outdoor space to relax. Also the additional payments for sauna etc.

Stayed here for a weekend. Everything was perfect except that the spa was closed. But the upstairs pool was really good. It was heated so was able to bath even thought it was only April. The hospitality was great from the people working there aswell. Will defently be going there again!

Spa closed and taking 15 euro for parking per night is abit to much I think.

Comfortable stay, friendly staff, nice breakfast.

One of the reasons for choosing the hotel was the swimming pool and we didn't find out till arrival that the pool area was being remodelled.

We have some issues with this hotel as we were booked for half board but were told on arrival that they weren't doing meals for our first two nights (4 night stay) so as one of the evenings was Christmas Eve we had to spend more money than anticipated. The final evening we didn't eat in the hotel as the restaurant wasn't open and we were expected to wait in the cafe area while they found some more tables to accommodate us as they were squeezing everyone into a very small cafe/bar area for some reason the restaurant wasn't open on either of evenings that we had been booked in for ww had to eat in the cafe. There was one girl waiting on about 50 people. The Wifi didn't work in our room until the last day after asking several times for it to be looked at. The Jaccuzi area was closed so couldn't use that and the pool area was quite cold and not very comfortable with no towels supplied for the pool. The 'hot' breakfast was always luke warm as the heat apparatus didn't seem to keep anything warm at all. We did complain to the hotel staff about the restaurant but they were not able to do anything about it so we left feeling very dissatisfied. We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone at all and would welcome your comments. Barbara Ebrey

We chose this hotel as the weather in October not guaranteed sunshine and this hotel has a heated covered pool . It's 5 mins walk to main area of the resort too. We were not disappointed travelled as family of 4 , ( kids 8 & 2) the room was spacious, we had a quadruple room where the childrens beds were in a separate small room with partition doors. No bath tub but large shower cubicle. The roof top pool was great, not busy and the pool was heated and covered and you can sunbathe on the loungers and enjoy the sea views. There are also hot showers there which were great, we were able to shower before heading to airport (, we were leaving after the check out time of 12:00) Room was ready for our early arrival of 10:00 which was a lovely bonus too. Salou is lovely we have been a few times and would recommend it, if we returned in the summer months would chose a different hotel with balcony / ground level pool etc but out of season would return to the regente !

No balcony , street view, breakfast not great ( fruit/bread/croissants/ cereal and cold meats - I'm English and missed my fry up!) not able to hire towels for the beach.

hopefully they refunded cash without penalty and we moved out of there - big thanks for not spoiled vacations

-this maximum 3 stars hotel. -old repair and very cheap - very expensive (120 EUR per night) we rented apartments at the seaside for 60EUR per night with sea view - far from the sea (10 minute) - no sea view - no pool view - does not feel like you are in the holiday's hotel - view on the dirty street where smells a bit (people piss I guess) - swimming pool - was closed but still smelled not very good event from closed doors. - do not go there rating cant be 8.1 otherwise people who evaluate it like this are crazy -

Standard room. Breakfast was OK. The room was fine.

It would be nice to have a larger wardrobe. The room and service is not for 4*. It is 3* at best.

Location is really perfect, rooms are cosy like on the pictures, really close to the beach, shopping area, wasn't nosy

When I read reviews about boring breakfast I wasn't sure if it is really so boring. It is!!!! We stayed for 7 nights and it was all the same. The number of offered items is very limited. Some couples including us started to buy food for the breakfast. Major minus is absence of vegetables. We are in Spain!!!! Where are vegetables??? Also gym ans swimming pool should not be the criteria as they are very small. Spa is also smiling - massage can be booked on reception and massage men will come to your room. Depends on people but there are huge spa center in La Pineda which offers more spa programs in more pleasant atmosphere for the same price.

Contemporary room design. Glass wall between room and Jacuzzi bathroom looks awesome.

A total cost does not reflect full value for money. Hotel parking is at extra cost.
