The room was very modern. The view was superb. Wi Fi connection was very good. The staff was very quick to respond. Nespresso machine was sweet surprise.
The construction inside of the hotel caused noise,so because of that drilling we couldn't rest at all after the long flight.
Everything. Fantastic hotel situated in the heart of Madrid.
Near the center and lovely staff.
Noise in the morning and WiFi very poor.
air con nees looking at
Location close to Plaza de Cortes and Puerta del Sol; friendly staff and clever room layouts.
Only light to the room and bathroom was from a narrow atrium.
Location was within walking distance to several places.
our room overlooked an alleyway ( I believe) & early in the morning there was a van loading up materials or pipes off the sidewalk. Very noisy. We did have the windows open due to it being so warm, & the AC turned off for the season.Closing the window helped a little.
The location The friendliness of staff The nice decor The comfortable beds Having coffee and tea at all times at reception The price is fantastic The little chocs by bed The toiletries in bathroom All very clean Brilliant tv
The blankets. Missing duvets The carpets coming down from stairs are really old No privacy in bathroom from bedroom
Overall very good.
Internet didn't work on last day but never asked for a new password.
Location, cleanliness of hotel, rooms beautifully decorated, nice restaurant.
1st room we were given was much smaller than expected based on the picture and description. The staff kindly moved us to a bigger room for our last 2 nights but was still disappointed that it was an internal room with no view.
toaster in restuarant requires up grading, rooms would benefit from teamaking facilities
Great location in a fantastic city, easy to walk to wherever we wanted to get to. The bedroom was quiet and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Churros and chocolate at the Chocolateria de San Gines is a great way to start your day :-)
The bar area is a little impersonal, but there are so many other fantastic places to explore in the locality that it didn't matter!
Fantastic hotel, bedroom and situation. I would stay there each time.
Hair drier was full of hairs stuck to it and dirty
No Parking/Leak WIFI
Small room, poor Wi-Fi connection (checked only inside my room), not possible to sleep with the open window.
The welcome and the helpfulness each time I had a question.
No business center
Very noisy, even during the night (and that is without mentioning the building site across the street). Had to make repeated requests to get wifi working in our room.
Convenient location, just near Puert del Sol and the Hop on Hop Off bus. Clean comfortable rooms with very modern decor. Very helpful staff and concierge. Nice touches like a soft drink on arrival, free wine and cheese tasting. Breakfast was delicious and so too were restaurant dinners and very reasonably priced.
Our room had a window facing an internal courtyard, so it gave the feeling of being disconnected with the real world. I would recommend asking for a room with a balcony if you are contemplating staying here.
It is a lovely furnished hotel, with a top quality restaurant and breakfast room. It is ideally located close to Puerto del sol and the old section of the city which has amazing tapas bars and cafés. We did have an issue which we cover in the 'what we did not like section,'however after repeatedly requesting we speak to the manager, thanks to him it was handled well, and we were given another upgrade and breakfasts by way of apology. So there are no hard feelings overall even though he was the first one to say sorry. If our superior upgraded room had AC on the first night we would have been very happy with our stay, just a shame the reception staff did not handle our situation well. The bar and restaurant staff gave excellent customer service so made up for the other staff. The restaurant meal was expensive however the discount given by the hotel meant we enjoyed a delightful meal. We would stay there again provided we booked a superior room and we knew the AC was working.
The room we had booked turned out to be a small basic room, although it looked comfortable and would be ok for someone on a budget or one night stay. As we were there for 4 nights we asked about paying for an upgrade, and was given a lovely good size room with two small balconies. However it was very hot for October and the AC did not work.. This was a serious issue due to a health problem. We had to go down late in the evening to complain strongly, unfortunately the staff did not seem to care one iota. Eventually we got a fan, but we had a restless nights sleep. The next morning the same scenario with the reception staff, who just did not seem to care, and it was only when the manager got involved we were taken seriously. Turns out that not all rooms had the AC turned on due to maintenance. we were not told this when we booked in, nor when we asked for our payable upgrade. Be careful the cheap price offered is a trap, unless you are on a strict budget or staying one night, then the room is fine as the location makes up for it.
Lovely room, good shower, clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff
room had some noise from alley
Regina Hotel is very central. The facilities are good and the staff very friendly.
Internal room meant that we did not see daylight and no view form the room window
Great location, close to everything but still quiet.
Busy in Madrid the weekend we were there, so price was ridiculous
staff and service very good
We had one of the newly renovated rooms, and were really happy withe size of the room, facilities, bed comfort....as it was on the 2nd floor,,so we got street noise...but that is Spain!!!! Fantastic location! Ate at the restaurant too...(tired and foot sore) and it was delicious plus...the Segovia lamb was fantastic... 3 courses and wine for 22 euros...plus little extras...
Shower was a bit fiddley... There was room for a second case holder, but as is usual only 1 in the room, when generally there are 2 in the room!
Location was great. Food options good
Noise on weekends terrible. Noise from 2:30 am till 6. Bar in alley During week garbage trucks several times early am
Good central location was good,
Very expensive for a 3* hotel poor quality breakfast the noise from the street was all day long, perhaps because the room was on the first floor
