Spa, gym, food
Although room service available, would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in room
Food, staff, view from balcony, conservatory. Location is excellent.
Restaurant badly set out and always crowded. Food layout is complicated and could be simplified.
Most things very good. Excellent wifi even on beach. Good gym, great spa, fabulous breakfast.
Musty smell in bathroom. TV and décor dated. Safe too small for laptop and charges applied to it (silly to charge a Euro a day for use of safe.)
Staff was efficient and helpful. Room accommodations were good and housekeeping staff very good with upkeep. Restaurant food was very good. Pool bar staff very good. Location was excellent!
Not so much a "don't like", but the hotel is older and perhaps the rooms need new paint and bed covers/curtains.
Rummen. ++++ Utsikt:+++++ Internationell atmossfare. German influated in service é restarantes. Relaxing location in the middle of the Atlantic. Very superir facicities, asa, Gym, Room-service and multilangual competense, exept norwegian, danish and icelandic perhaps. A great escape to rest after Christmas and New Year celebrations! A must go to once in life. Cosmopolitan mixed with Spanish/Canarian traditions. Better every time. A relaxing place in a noicy world. I tank Tou for yor hospitality.
Probably one would need a week or at least 5 days to get oriented. It´s quite a big City afterall. No other cons.
Right on the beach. A lot happening outside on the sea front in the evening, music etc. Staff speak good English. Third time at this hotel.
Currently has a 8.6 rating and i'd say that's about right. Great location, stunning views from roof terrace, restaurant and gym. Would stay here again.
"City View" means side street with fairly scruffy block of flats/offices. Why take liberties with descriptions, this hotel should be above that.
Great location and roof top spa and pool were a bonus. Pleasant bar/ coffee lounge on to the promenade. Friendly and helpful staff and good self service restaurant
Single room was a bit small and a couple of niggles, the basin pplug did not keep the water in the bowl, this was rectified when mentioned. Door lock did not work and did not appear to be sorted while I was there.
Every thing was excellent.Very good hotel.
Staff were all great as was breakfast. The location is good for getting around the city and the car park very usefull. Rooftop pool was clean and tidy as was the bar area. Generaly the hotel is good.
In our room 572 the air con was very slow and provided little cold air despite us reporting a problem. This meant it was uncomportable in the room and unless that was a one off we would not return, sorry.
Stayed 4 nights. Every night different and wide range of buffet menu was served. Room was specious. Although I stayed for business, it was nice hotel.
Gym, aging showers.
The pool The breakfast The downstairs bar and wintergarden The lobby with computers The free wifi
You can't have lunch at tables out side at the pool bar. To many courses att the meny in the top floor restaurant The beds in the room could be bigger and more comfortable.
Great location Well equipped gym Nice spa and swimming pool Free towels and sunbeds at Las Canteras beach Good choice of food for breakfast
Staff where extremely helpful at all times
Not all the spar equipment work whilst we were staying
Everything was perfect. Close to the beach. Close to the city. The breakfest was wonderful. The staff very helpful!
Rooftop Spa and pool facilities could not be better we loved it Cafe restaurant front terrace is real plus, staff marvellous and we were fairly large group
We really liked the location of the Reina Isabel, the most wonderful breakfast and all the facilities it has to offer. You could not ask for a better position on the Las Canteras beach. A truly wonderful stay. Thank You
It would be nice to see the Reina provide a shuttle bus for guests to transfer back and forth from Las Palmas Airport. Although we did find a very good company to do this for us at a very reasonable cost. It would also be nice to have facilities in the room to make tea or coffee.
locations breakfast restaurant
Very nice staff, very nice situated near the boulevard, very clean.
Very friendly staff, good food, nice bars. The hotel located on a beautiful beach, nice for long walks, and filled great restaurants.
Some of the equipments are not 4star.
Location is excellent. Hotel by the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Lively district with many small bars and restaurants Great roof restaurant at the hotel.
No coffee making in the room,[although they supplied a kettle when asked]. The food was good but a little samey. No English speaking entertainment channels on the T.V.
Location, swimming pool, food, room, beach
Swimming pool access for children only until 12:00
The breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from, the areas were always kept clean and replenished constantly.
During our stay the staff had a life saving course. This was held in the swimming pool in the middle of the day for between 1 and 2 hours for 5 days. This meant that the holiday makers who had paid to be there and be able to use the pool were unable to during that time. I think this should have been done either before or after the pool was open to us.
The hotel facilities and staff were great. Clean rooms, nice pool, nice spa and nice breakfast. Location is great if you want to be in the city and be able to visit Las Palmas, but beware that it might be cloudier than you would expect in the north of the island. Also, this part is said to be quieter than the south, so it's ideal if you want to relax and not do much.
Location may not be great for summer months. During July and August the weather is somewhat cloudy (what they call "panza de burro") so if you are expecting sun you might want to go to the southern part of the island. Also, there are not many places around to go out at night, so if you are expecting sun, beach and party you might want to consider going to Maspalomas. The hotel was still great, just have this in mind about the location.
