This differently unique hotel is conveniently located in the commercial and social center of Granada next to the cathedral; the very building the hotel occupies is brimming with Andalusian character. As the building is completely soundproofed and enjoys a privileged position in the center of Granada, guests will be able to enjoy the silence and tranquility. The hotel is situated in what used to be the Rosales family house and where the poet Federico Garcia Lorca spent his last days. The owners of the hotel have made every effort to keep the building the same as it was when he lived there. There are reminders of the poet in the hotel’s typical Andalusian style with patios and fountains, and the exquisitely decorated interior and facade, the result of the Jimenez family's expertise in hospitality, particularly in restoration. Central location, good value for money option. Common areas quite charming, with a local feel to them. They forgot to provide laundry service, although we followed the procedure indicated by reception staff. We did not try again the next day. Rooms and facilities quite dated.

The hotel itself, architecture, the tiles in the foyer; the situation and the history, the association with Lorca and the Spanish Civil War. Directions to the hotel!

Friendly helpful staff,. Good breakfast. Excellent location The write up said sound deadening had been carried out but my first night was noisy and too much clatter from the restaurant/bar below me at 6 am in the morning. The second night was quiet as I was given a room at the back on the third floor.

Most everything. We were traveling the three of us and one had to sleep on an old bed settee, which was a bit disappointing and uncomfortable. This is the only complaint, the rest was lovely.

The Reina Cristina is very well located, next to the Plaza Romanilla, home to one of the best restaurants in town, the Tortuga Boba (just go there and smile). It has a nice old-fashioned style, is very well preserved but is all but crappy — never did we stay in a hotel this well isolated. In the street next to our room construction work took place, and we hardly noticed it. Staff is very friendly.

The central location and the Old Spanish feel of the decor and communal areas. The fact the shower did not work and the rather Spartan Bar.

Ideally situated in Granada the hotel is in a lovely building and offers clean rooms with quite large bathrooms and generally friendly staff. The hotel was full but the breakfast room was too small resulting in an unfortunate scrum for tables and the staff running around. Despite being 2 staff on reception when we arrived, one lady was checking in a group of around 30 people, the other gentleman completely ignored us and we had to wait until the lady had finished.

Staff, location, comfort, its historic significance. Without exception, everyone on the staff was friendly, patient, courteous, and took time to be sure I understood.

The staff are very nice! My room is cozy and quite large. I love the hotel's decoration style! Also, its location is great for the cathedral and royal chapel! I think its breakfast contains a little limited choices. The bed is, actually kind of hard and I woke up several times in the night.

Marie Luz , the receptionist went way above the call of duty finding our lost purse, then running after us to tell us that she had located it through the police, and then directed us to the lost property office at the Town Hall. She deserves a medal!
