Great kitchen and room-spacious. good pool. great gym and spa. good for families. MasY mas market near by and fab Russian church. Beach bars nearby but have to drive. Free parking. Quiet location .Relaxing-good for familie
Only one restaurant open in hotel . hotel facilities and bar closed which was a shame, as you have to drive everywhere. no meeting place
Was a really nice place and we liked the surroudings very much. The pool was very good and nice restaurant in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
We had extra beds for our children and they were not very good.
Hotel, pool and grounds were lovely.
Staff weren't always helpful or available.
Pool landscape and comfortable large rooms
A bar right next to the pool would be ideal
Greit hotel with a lovet poplåter area.
Pool closed at 1800hrs Spa closed at 2000hrs Restaurant only open 2000 to 2200hrs This is a nonsense when people are on their holidays.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, great bathroom. Lovely views to sea and hills.
The spa was very basic.
We loved the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. We noticed it was extremely good for families with young children.
A lack of entertainment if we were to stay for more than a couple of nights.
Location of the hotel is good and the hotel is so much value for money
They don't have king size bed. I asked for king size bed before going there but they did not manage it.
Location, the setting the room size and decor
Bar and restaurant too restricted in choice and closed too early in the evening
A beautiful place with a great view, we were glad to take the advice on having a car, it was essential.
Everything was just perfect
nothing at all
The style of the hotel and furnishings, large rooms and bathrooms, helpful and friendly staff, pool area, and location.
No tea/coffee facilities in room. Hate coffee/drinks machine in breakfast room, much preferred former system.
Lovely views from the room which was very comfortable
No receptionist when we arrived. The room was up a lift, along a bridge then up another lift and very vague instructions to locate it were given. The bar was closed and many areas were in darkness. Generally the hotel had an end of season feel to it and the surrounding area was mainly shut. The main town is a 10 minute drive away
Great size room. Friendly staff. Very clean.
Not enough pillows in the room.
The serenity of the Altea Hills and the glorious sea views, perfect for a relaxing get-away. The bathrooms are great, loved the spa bath. Very clean and comfortable Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, not just in the foyer or your room. Also allows for more than one device. Poolside internet surfing was great.
Being up in the mountains means you are away from shops and restaurants. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and lunch next door. Reasonably priced meals, nothing fancy but good enough.
Fantastic setting up in the hills. Rooms beautifully appointed. Reception staff very friendly.
A shame that the shower area had signs of mold.
very relaxing hotel, and luxury rooms you dont want to leave
the cafe menu needs more choice on snacks etc
Altea was lovely especially the old town. Good food and friendly people plus weather was very good. We moved hotel and started to enjoy our holiday.
Wouldnt replenish towels or toilet paper. Food was worse than school dinners. Staff didnt care (some staff were excellent) informed staff of dangerous toaster at breakfast and they did nothing about this. Was given a burnt iron to iron my white shirt. Waste of money! No hotel bus to take guests anywhere as the hotel is out of the way and we walked down a dangerous road. £30 for a taxi to nearest town. Wouldnt serve food or go out their way to help guests. Apart from the wedding which was excellent and cant be faulted, pity some staff just didnt care. Beach is terrible full of stones and uncomfortable you cannot sit on it.
Food nothing was open you had to pay to go in the indoor pool
I loved the privacy, restaurant, pools, the room, location
I would have liked a kettle and cups in the room for morning coffee, I became allergic to air conditioning which may suggest filters need replacing ?
The price-quality relation is really good, we received a nice upgrade and had a lovely view to the sea. The breakfast is very diverse and good quality. The room was clean and everything there what you need.
There was a smell in the bathroom which was for 2 nights not a problem if I would stay longer I would have complaint.
Stunning internal architecture and furniture. Amazing waterfall pool complex. As it was our 30th Anniversary they upgraded us to one of their best suites on the top floor with jacuzzi bath and huge balcony with sea views!
Its in the middle of nowhere - a car is essential! its a long walk down to the beach and an almost impossible one back up the hill! No shops or restaurants close by. No bus service. You need to get taxis everywhere.
