The hotel is located 5' walk to La Rambla, it is simply very close to the tourism spots. The hotel is very clean with 24/7 receptionist. To ensure safety, they asked you to leave the key at the reception when you are leaving the hotel. It has wifi in the room, the room was simple and you have what you need. Simple breakfast were served in the morning from 8.30. I enjoyed the experience staying here and I think it is a good value for money.
It was convenient. Very close to la rambla. Clean
A little pricey considering it's a dorm room
quiet in the room, everything rather average but nothing wrong
Location, quiet place, friendly receptionist.
Friendliness, close to the action, clean and basic but comfortable
The elevator was kind of slow, hey better than having to take the staris
A very clean basic 'no thrills' hotel, well situated within easy reach of La Ramblas. Well priced with a decent breakfast, excellent desktop computer room, wifi access and 24 hour reception. It is the third time I have stayed there and it has been ideal as a base to explore Barcelona. I have generally used it as a place to sleep and have breakfast and be 'out and about' for most of the day.
Hotel is just next to La Rambla
Staff very helpful, good security, comfortable
Would definately have appreciated an electric jug and mug...even if we supplies our own coffee etc. if they can provide a hair dryer if asked, why not a jug and mug?
The location was pretty convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The room was clean and basic; if u don't need the frills this is perfect. Every morning there was hot and cold breakfast so it was great!! Additionally most of the staff were friendly.
There was a problem with my shower- after showering for 10 mins there was a sudden surge of hot water that scalded my back. I reported it to the front desk staff they really didn't nothin about it but tell me it sometimes happens. Regardless of price it is hard to enjoy a shower without knowing that ure going to be burned butt naked. So did not like that at all - for that reason I would not return. Also the shower design left a lot to be desires- water was inevitably everywhere since there was no solid enclosure to contain the water.
Location right in center of Barcelona.
The floors were very used, bathroom not really clean. Not enough services or equipments from a 3 stars, doesn't worth the price. Some pictures from the site are cheaters. Average breakfast.
Room space, bed quality.
There is no fridge in the room. More options for breakfast.
A lot of space in the room, nice staff and very good location.
It was a bit noisy at night from the street.
We've stayed at this hotel for 10 days. Everything was beautiful from staff to interior and location. Staff is beyond praise - kind, friendly, helpful. Breakfast was unpretentious, but pretty good. I'd prefer to have some vegetables. But there are different fruits. Hotel very clean. Location was also beautiful - Placa Catalunya, La Ramblas, Boqueria, Gothic Quarter. A lot of restaurants near hotel. Quite palace. If I come to Barcelona again I choose this hotel. Thank you. :))
i loved the location and the room was very nice the housekeeping ladies were just amazing helpful and the breakfast aswell was very nice,a big thank you for you guys
i was there for 10days vacation i faced a big issues with the reception which embarassed me in front of my visitor who actually came to visit me during the day time and she asked me in very rude way that i can only have him for couple of hours, and i tried to explain for her that its my right to have a visitor during the day time as long as he is leaving during the day too and hes not gonna visit or stay at my room at night, but she didnt really care and she just said noway to have him more then a couple of hours even during the day time,i was really disapointed about that and i had to call booking.com which i booked through them to find me a solution. hopefully you can change those kind of rules which not really fair. also i wanted to mention that if you can improve the room card key which i had to leave it each time i go out and i have to pick it up again when i arrive.it took me time to wait my turn especially during the day when the reception is busy with other guest.instead of having my key card and just walk in and out anytime without waiting.
Located in the heart of Raval.
The breakfast (But cannot complain for the price)
Its like a prison.. u give ur key while leaving and coming back.they check ur name.u will feel not confortable at all....the lift. ..hehehe so slowwww
Clean, secure, value for money, basic rooms with good en-suite facilities, and buffet breakfast with good range. close to the main part of La Rambla and to metro station - Licieu - and to a market. A good base for touring Barcelona. Staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were not cramped. There was a long worktop aimed at business guests.
A mirror in the bedroom would have been useful. (There was a big one in the en-suite.) A little more shelf space would have been very useful for a longer stay like ours (10 nights), plenty of room for it under the long worktop.
An excellent choice for money. The hotel is safe and clean. The staff is friendly. Near the metro station and La Rambla street.
Around the hotel at night does not seem safe and can be noisy.
everything clean, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast, excellent location
There was nothing to complain about for me.
I stayed for a week in a very quiet room on the third floor. The bins on the street outside were emptied on Monday morning, but that's the only time I heard any noise. I particularly liked the integrated roller shutter system on the hotel windows. I am easily woken by light, but the blinds didn't let in the slightest chink. If I had the blinds down by day, it looked like midnight in my room. The bed was very comfortable, and beautifully made every day. The towels and bedding were changed on request, and the room kept looking clean and tidy. Breakfast was great. I think I only noticed one breakfast cereal on offer, but with a choice of yoghurt, fruits, eggs, cheeses, meats, breads and pastries; together with plenty of orange juice, tea and coffee to wash it down with - you won't get bored! Toast is always available, but hot food in the shape of omelette and sausages are only on offer Monday to Friday. The cubed Spanish cheese and potato omelette was my favourite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you are planning to visit the Segrada Familia, book online to avoid the long, long queues! If, like me, you don't travel with anything capable of internet access; the hotel has a guest's computer room downstairs, and for 10 cents you can print your ticket at reception.
The hotel uses a card swipe system for room access, and you are required to hand in your card at reception whenever you go out. I didn't mind this at all, as staff double-checked my name and room number (until they got to know me) before handing back my card. However, there was one member of the night staff who couldn't speak English and on one ocassion he passed me a list of all the hotel residents and their room nubers to choose from! I have mentioned this in my feedback to the hotel, so hopefully this won't be an issue in future. Please, please, don't let this put you off - this really is a great little hotel in the heart of Barcelona!
Good location and security. Helpful staff. Relaxed and friendly. Well provided with a traveller's needs
The location was very convenient. A 3 minute walk from las ramblas and MACBA. The hotel was clean throughout and my room was comfortable. Having air conditioning was very good staying in Barcelona in July. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The staff in the breakfast hall were the same. Breakfast was basic and very much your typical continental meal. However for the price I paid it was good and saved having to find somewhere to eat in the morning. The area by the residence is busy, however not too noisy. As people stay out till the early hours in Barcelona I always felt safe walking home at night as there were people around. There is 24 hour security and free wifi signal was good.
This was a great place to stay but could have been improved by having tea and coffee making facilities in the room
Great location just off La Rambla. Convenient for the Gothic Quarter, great restaurants and a short bus ride to the beach!
Would have loved a kettle and a fridge!
